Armaan arrived back home to find Tamanna daydreaming about what he assumed was her hubby. He just shook his head at her and told Jiya to go start her project now that she has the things she needed. He went to his room as he wanted to change into something else because he was feeling very hot and bothered from all the shopping. He found the room empty and so he changed and wondered where Bharti was. He looked out onto the balcony and found her sitting on the swing lost in her thoughts. He went to sit next to her and called her name, but he got no response. He put his hand on her shoulder and only that brought her out of her thoughts.

Armaan: "What's up, is something bothering you?"

Bharti: "Huh, um no, it's nothing."

Armaan: "Yeah right, come on...spill. What's that you have there?"

Bharti: "Oh um, Tamz was showing to me, I hope you don't mind."

Armaan: (taking the photo album from her lap)"Oh no, of course I don't mind, I've been meaning to show these to you for a while. Man, she was so small when she was born..."

Bharti: "Hmmm..."

Armaan: "Bharti, you sure you okay?"

Bharti: "Armaan..."

Armaan: "Yes..."

Bharti: "Why didn't you ever tell me about Priyanka?"

Bharti immediately saw Armaan's expression change and she wondered if she should have even asked or not.

Armaan: "Um..well, there isn't much to say. I married her, but her career was always her top priority. It just didn't work, so we got divorced."

Bharti: "That's it? What about everything about Jiya and the problems you had all because of Priyanka..."

Armaan: (sighing)"So I see Tamz has been telling you some stories, well I suppose it's better that she told you and now you finally know."

Bharti: "Did you not want to tell me, didn't you want me to know..I'm sorry Arm.."

Armaan: "No no, it's not that. I'm glad you know and there isn't anything I want to hide from you. It's just I don't like thinking about those times and I definitely don't like talking about them..that's it. It's all over and that's just how I want it to stay."

Bharti: "I'm so sorry Armaan...I can't believe you had to go through so much.."

Armaan: "Why are you apologising? It's okay, I'm fine, Jiya and I made it through all of that. You know, I've never been able to completely hate Priyanka and completely regret all that happened. I mean I have my beautiful Jiya from it all. All I wish is that I could have protected Jiya more. She went through a lot because of that Priyanka...But anyway, like I said it's over, now I'm just happy about the fact that we could move on. I mean look at our luck, we found you..."

Armaan looked at Bharti and smiled. Bharti just put her hand on Armaan's and squeezed it.

Bharti: "No I'm the lucky one Armaan. Jiya is the sweetest person I've ever met and it just makes me so angry when I think about what she had to face, what both of you had to face...."

Armaan: "Don't think about it, just focus on the present and the future...our future."

Armaan smiled even more widely at Bharti.

Bharti: (blushing and removing her hand)"Armaan..."

Armaan: "But seriously Bharti, I've never told you this but...Well you know I love you...and well, I think one of the main reasons is because you love and care for Jiya so much. I feel that Jiya has found her mother in you. I always wondered if I can fulfill all her needs, but ultimately I knew I'd never fill the emptiness she feels from not having a mother. But now I don't have to worry about that. She has you and I can just see in her eyes how much she loves you, I can see how much you love her...Thank you Bharti."

Bharti felt tears forming in her eyes, but she fought them back. She leaned closer to him and put her one hand on Armaan's hand again and the other on his shoulder.

Bharti: "Armaan, I will always look after Jiya, always be there for her. I promise you that I will never hurt her."

Armaan: "I know Bharti."

Armaan squeezed her hand and leaned towards her and they shared a long and intimate embrace. Neither of them made any moves to end the hug. Suddenly they were forced to let go when they heard someone clearing her throat. It was Tamanna who was looking at both of them and smiling widely.Bharti and Armaan returned to their original positions, but Armaan continued to hold Bharti's hand in his and Bharti didn't pull away.

Tamanna: "Sorry to interrupt you two lovebirds. Oh come on you two! You'll are married, how long are both of you going to blush?"

Armaan: (rolling his eyes)"Tamz...did you want something??"

Tamanna: "Actually..."

Tamanna made her way to the swing and made both of them let go of each other's hands and move to either side, while she sat down in between them. She sighed and looked from Bharti to Armaan and rolled her eyes when she saw the look on Armaan's face.

Tamanna: "Anyway...I spoke to Aman's mum and she'll be sending the Karva Chauth stuff for Bharti and I."

Armaan: "Oh, I guess she'll never change.."

Tamanna: "Don't worry Armaan, Mum will come around and I'm sure she'll love Bharti. I do!"

Tamanna put her hands around Bharti and gave her a big hug. Armaan smiled watching them. Then Tamanna leaned over to Armaan and whispered to him so that only he could hear.

Tamanna: "Okay, I'm going, you carry on and have fun."

Tamanna winked at him and left from there.

Armaan: "So..Where were we, Mrs Sinha?"

Bharti and Armaan were both looking at each other and smiling, when Bharti heard Jiya calling her and she left Armaan on the swing to go and help Jiya with her project.

Armaan: (looking up at the sky)"Oh come on boss, you've got to give me some help...I really wouldn't mind if you could organise something for me, you know... "

Through the course of the day, Bharti and Armaan kept stealing glances at each other. While Bharti was helping Jiya, Armaan would stand afar and watch her and occasionally Bharti would look at him and they would share these long and intense eye-locks. Bharti just couldn't understand what had changed inside of her, she felt so different and she knew she was looking at Armaan differently. By the end of the day, she even found herself searching the room to find Armaan's eyes.

The next day was a really relaxed Sunday, they all slept until late and then together they had a lot of fun preparing and eating a delicious breakfast. They decided to just relax at home and watch some dvd's together. Armaan told Jiya to leave her project for a while, but he didn't succeed with getting Tamanna's attention. She was just too excited to see Aman the next day.

Armaan: (teasingly when he saw her repeatedly calling Aman)"If you keep on calling him, he won't finish his work and then he won't be able to come."

Tamanna got annoyed with him and threw the cushion at him before going to her room.

Bharti: "Tamanna wait, just ignore Armaan. Come and watch with us."

Tamanna: "No, it's fine. Anyway I'm feeling really tired, so I'm going to lie down."

Bharti just playfully hit Armaan and then the three of them had a lovely time watching all the latest dvd's. It was Sunday afternoon and Armaan decided to secretly book a table for the three most beautiful women in his life and himself to have dinner. He decided to spoil them since they wouldn't be eating for the whole of the next day. Just before Bharti was about to prepare a light dinner for them, Armaan told them that they were going to go out for dinner at his and Jiya's favourite restaurant. They all went to get ready and were about to leave when Tamanna said she didn't really feel up to coming, as she felt as tired as before. But after much pestering and pleading form Bharti and Jiya, they all left to the restaurant. They sat down and ordered all their favourite foods.

Bharti: "Wow, there's so much food...I won't feel hungry for a long time."

Armaan: (smiling)"That's the idea..."

Tamanna: "Yeah, we aren't going to be doing much eating tomorrow, remember..."

Through the meal, Tamanna excused herself to the bathroom and Jiya was telling Armaan that she was feeling a bit tired from working so hard on her project.

Armaan: "Aw, my bacha, do you want to go home?"

Jiya: "No Dada, I'll manage."

Just then Tamanna came back and told Armaan that she wasn't feeling so good and she planned on going home now. She didn't want to be sick or tired when Aman comes home. Jiya suggested that she would go back home with her Tamanna aunty and Armaan and Bharti should stay.

Armaan: (looking at Bharti, who nodded)"No bacha, we'll all go home."

Tamanna: (seeing a slightly disappointed Armaan)"No bro, there is so much of food here, you two stay and enjoy. Jiya and I will go. Bharti, you better eat up, huh...and eat for me too."

Tamanna waved goodbye and Jiya kissed them both before leaving with Tamanna. Now it was just Bharti and Armaan left.

Bharti: "I hope she's okay and it's just one of those 24 hour bugs or something."

Armaan: "Yeah me too.... By the way Bharti, I didn't get the chance to tell you that you're really looking beautiful tonight."

Bharti: (smiling)"Why thank you, Armaan."

Armaan: "Wow, you're not blushing as much now."

Bharti: "Well, I guess I'm just getting used to all your compliments..."

Armaan: "Well, you know I'll never tire of giving them to you."

Bharti smiled and shook her head at him. Armaan reached across the table and interlocked his fingers with hers.

Armaan: "You know, I think this is our first sort of dinner date alone."

Bharti: "Yeah, I think it is..."

They finished up dinner and ordered a dessert to share. Armaan moved his chair next to Bharti's and they sat sharing their dessert, with Armaan sometimes feeding bits to Bharti. After they left the restaurant, they decided to go for a bit of a walk, as there was a beautifully lit pathway leading to a small park. They held hands and walked, talking about various topics, not really worrying about what they were saying. They were simply enjoying the sound of each other's voices and the fact that they were together in each other's company. They reached the park and sat on the merry-go-round and Armaan was telling Bharti more about his childhood. After a while, they both went quiet and they just sat next to each other holding hands and looking up at the night sky.

Armaan: "Bharti..."

Bharti: (turning to look at him)"Hmm..."

Armaan: "I really wish I met you sooner."

Bharti: "Me too Armaan.."

Armaan found himself admiring Bharti in the moonlight, her silky long hair, her big brown eyes that always looked so innocent and her gorgeous lips that looked so kissable right now, but he pushed the thought aside. He saw a change in Bharti, she was closer to him now, she had opened up to him and he didn't want to ruin that or push her away by moving too quickly.

First of all, you've chosen a very apt title for our beloved ArBi ;) Well, I've started to read your Arbi FF and I'm enjoying it a lot. I love the details that you have gone in to...esp. when describing ArBi moments. Keep it up :)
