I completely agree with what you said - I really don't have an answer to it but it does indeed hurt to see something like that happen - and you know what? It's like an exaggerated version of the things girls and women go through everyday in reality - not the whole being forced into marriage - but the idea of being submissive to males who take advantage of their strength and superiority.
BEFORE i go on, I just wanna clarify that I'm not a feminist, i love all you guys out there 😉😆 And I'm not some male-basher, this only pertains to a very small fraction of the guys out there - and just because i'm not talking about the women out there in a negative light doesn't mean they're all saints - women are quite manipulative as well!
Why do her tears go unnoticed? I don't know and it's saddening because again, stuff like this happens in real life all the time! BUT I guess this is exactly what KK meant when he said that Bharti would have to face the humiliation and pain that Geeta felt. Why didn't Geeta's tears matter at the time? Why did Bhaskar just kinda half-heartedly apologize and brush her aside? It's usually the women who end up being the vulnerable ones, who are easily caught in a male's trap or forced into doing something because of their lack of strength to fight back.
Omkaar is a *insert any censored word here*....seriously, i totally understand why Armaan left home!
Ragini is undoubtedly one of the most talented actresses out there! She's carried off Bharti's role SO incredibly well - from the beginning where she had to enact the male mannerisms till the present where you can see the feminine side of Bharti peeping through the male facade she tries to put up haha, she's a pleasure to watch!
As much as I hate to admit it, this does happen in alot of parts of India. Forcing a woman to marry, either by physical force or emotional blackmail/manipulation, is extremely prevelant. It is unfair, but only one of the extreme atrocities committed against woman not only in India, but all over the world. It's saddening to see that these things happen in real life, but unfortunately it's true.
