Rann Singh - I'm speechless and so overwhelmed because against all odds I wanted him to live and fight those cowards in the battlefield but then I realised he was the first person to enter the battlefield as hefaced those cowards all by himself and refused to bow down... Jaimal might have been tricked and captured but Rann Singh was brave throughout his journey and I salute this brave soul

The Shatrani scene was good - everyone coming up with ideas to make sure that the Praja had roof to live under as well as the food to feed the warriors and soldiers

Ajmer- I Hate you so much Ajmer joining hands to defeat Chittor...am glad they will show a victory in Chittor's side first before Akbar does the heinous deed

And we see Pratap meeting another messenger from Chittor and Akbar rallying his troops- looks like the battle is ahead of us for next week and I sincerely hope Khetu is not caught

Hi Garima! yes! it was very good!

RS did fight them in battle, it was a different battlefield, one of espionage, even though he wasnt a spy he was treated like one by the enemy and he triumphed in his mission at the end of the day, he didnt open his mouth!

yea i hope khetu gets out soon!

I have serious issues with the way Pratap handled the Rann singh issue. 😡
I realize that it is highly unlikely for a King to storm an enemy tent to rescue one of his spies but still...I had more expectations when the King in question is Pratap. I did not expect him to take the treat Rann singh like a used piece of tissue paper. Just use and throw. True other soldiers in war do die but that is something unavoidable. In a situation where someone is captured and it is possible to save him, something should have been done for him.
The Rann singh part in the last two days was a bit overly dramatic. When he had the sword the first time itself he could have cut his own throat or wrists or put the sword in his stomach to end his misery. Instead, he chose to make this overly dramatic symbolic gesture of cutting off his tongue in the most painful way to remain quiet, yet still remaining alive. I think in that situation Rann singh should have taken his own life in the first instance itself.
While the symbolism is deeply appreciated that he will not speak the secret he was entrusted with 👏👏👏 ...still the realisticness of that seen is a little under question, as to whether someone in that situation instead of ending their misery by killing themselves will enhance their misery by remaining alive and cutting off their tongue instead. 😕
Going back to Pratap, I sometimes lose respect for him. I feel that he knows what is the right thing to do (rescue Rann singh) but allows others to influence him and tell him what they think should be done. I would have more respect if he were to simply arrive at the conclusions he arrives at by himself instead of being brainwashed by Raja jaimal and guruvar and chakrapani. 😕
The thought that 1000 gun-toting soldiers would participate in a war that does not benefit them in any way and where there are no stakes for them in terms of winning was a little stupid to begin with. I don't know why Pratap wasted his time. He should have headed back to chittore immediately and if at all anyone had to talk to the soldiers to convince them to join, then Jaimal could have spoken to their leader.
I mean had Pratap been in the fort what would he have done? Would he have left the fort to go talk to the leader of the gun-toting soldiers? Would he not have sent a deputy?

Rann Singh was captured right out side of chittod and taken to akbar's camp, heavily guarded! even if you got in, it would be hard to get out without coming out dead! khetu may be able to escape because she could disguise herself well but someone like pratap or another soldier- men in general would have a hard time to hide themselves, they would have a hard time to stay alive!

In war, such messengers who go out on such a mission know that they may never come back alive! technically he should have killed himself but the CVs wanted to make it super dramatic! im sure that such messengers would kill themselves when put in such a situation! thats the most ideal thing to show, but since this is a show so everything is more dramatic!

Pratap is being shown has super emotional! but im sure in real life he was a balance of strategy and emotions!

Wish you all a very happy Nrsimha Jayanti!

Today is the day when the glorious Lord appeared from the pillar just because His devotee, the kid Prahlada had said that God is there even in the pillar. As we know the story, Prahlada's father, the mighty asura Hiranyakasipu, then hit the pillar with his mace and the Supreme Lord emerged from the pillar in the man-lion form, with a roar that made the earth tremble. He picked up Hiranyakasipu and tore him apart with his nails, thereby honoring the boon granted by Brahmaji to him. The boon asked by Hirayankasipu was that he will not killed by human or animal, in the morning or evening, neither inside nor outside, not by any weapons, not by any thing that has life or without life, not in the ground. So the glorious Lord took the man-lion form, sat on the steps, put him on his lap (not on the earth), used his nails (we cannot define nails as with life or without), and the time was dusk!! So one cannot win over God or escape death, however one tries to protect one's life with so many clauses, and however mighty one might be (Hirayakasipu ruled the entire universe, including the devas with his prowess and everyone were made to chant his name and give ahuti (holy offering) in the sacred fire worship in his name). Only one who did not obey this mighty asura's order in the entite universe was his own little son.

When Lord Nrsimha was still in fury after killing the demon (who harmed His devotees), none including Goddess Lakshmi dared to go near Him. Only Prahlada boldly went near Him and prostrated at His lotus feet, as Prahlada had the deep understanding that even in this ferocious form it is his own dear God. and so the little Prahlada only felt an overwhelming love for the ferocious God and not an iota of fear. Immediately, The Lord cooled down, stroked the kid's head affectionately and placed him on His lap and kissed the child. He granted boons to Prahlada, but Prahlada said that if the love for God is pure there is no asking anything in return from God, as it is like trading otherwise. The Lord then requested Prahlada to ask a boon so that He will be happy! Prahlada asked The Lord to forgive his father and The Lord replied that the fact that he was killed by The Lord Himself has absolved Him of his sins and he will be bestowed with a good state.

I just wanted to wish you all, but was carried away thinking of Prahlada... how the child was tortured and was put to death many times by his own mighty father. But the childnever worried an iota and just stuck to his faith in God. Never did he question why he is subjected to so much grief though he believed in God so much. It was an unquestioned surrender and faith in The Lord. Everything was deemed as His dear God's will and prasad. And such a one becomes the Lord's own and His responsibility. It is this faith in God, that made Him come out of the pillar to prove his devotee's words true!
