Jagmal was fed of the training he was made to undergo every day - he was woken up at crack of dawn to receive the day's training that finished late in the evenings and sometimes it stretched to night as well. All the training left him with aches all over his body that did not allow him to sleep well. He had no idea of what was going all around him as he could only focus on his body ache so he decided to meet his mother and seek her help but when he saw her he forgot everything and only rage remained - lying comfortably on a couch eating grapes she was looking over servants who were wrapping gifts and decorating baskets He hid in the corner to observe everything when two daasis walked passed by him talking about all the beautiful gifts that were being sent with Rawatji. The name of his tormentor distracted him and he followed the daasis to eavesdrop on the conversation

Daasi 1: Ranaji himself selected many of the gifts

Daasi 2: I know even Ranisa was with him and helped him with the selection. She stood under the scorching sun's heat without complaining once

Daasi 1: Really but she always complain to us about the heat

Daasi 2: Forget that did you know what happened?

JM is shocked as he realised that due to all the training he had forgotten all about Ajabde

JM: Why is Rawatji taking them?

Daasi 1: Rawatji is Rajkumari Ajabde's Mamasa - her mother considers him as her elder brother

JM's brain finally starts working as he slowly pieces together every detail and piece to form a clear picture

JM: Rawatji has been punishing me for thinking about his niece - he must have found out about my hand in that incident and so he distracted me and made me suffer

JM: When is the marriage?
