Newbie Vaishali Thakkar and Kunal Bakshi to enter Sony TV's Maharana Pratap

The hunt for the actress who will play Maharana Pratap's sister is finally over!! After an extensive search, Contiloe Entertainment and Sony Entertainment Television have now zeroed in on the girl to play the role of Maan Kanwar, daughter of the wily Rani Bhatiyani (Aashka Goradia) and sister of Pratap (Sharad Malhotra).
Newbie Vaishali Takkar from Indore has bagged the coveted role in Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap, as per our sources. Also, entering the show will be talented actor Kunal Bakshi. He has been roped in to play the important role of Peer Mohammad, the close associate of Akbar (Krip Suri).
A reliable source tells us that unlike her mother Bhatiyani, Maan Kanwar will be a positive girl, highly-spirited, bubbly in attitude and very caring. She will be the mediator between her mother and brother, and will alwayswish good for the family. As for Peer, he will be a totally negative character, who would always harbour plans of conspiracy in his mind. In addition to being close to Akbar, Peer will regard Bairam Khan (Shahbaaz Khan) as his baba', and would have a special place in his heart.

Vaishali and Kunal we hear, have started shoot. Kunal's entry will air in tonight's episode.
