Hi friends
I read many members POV regarding Pratap's hatred towards Ajab!!!
So just giving my chaarana views on this whole thing trying to throw some light from my end as what I have analysed ...need not be right!
We all know Pratap loves Ajab truly deeply and madly!
All these years he had asked people not to take her name as he hated her...or was it because he was unable to forget her. Maybe somewhere deep inside his heart he still does not believe it! But just because his Rani maa would not lie to them and so he has taken the lie as a bitter truth.
He does not hate Ajab in fact he hates and berates himself for still being in love with that woman due to whom his Rani ma left the mahal abandoning him. He is torn between his devotion to his mother and his love!
Now when he meets patta's jijaa he is uknowingly getting attracted to her. Though in his right mind he thinks of staying away from women...trying to be loyal to Ajab the so called wife whom he hates! However there is this magnetic pull towards this persona which he is unable to avoid and he is disturbed. He is angry at Ajab because she has decided to break ties with him, which means she must have gotten over him and has decided to move on whereas he is still stuck to her memories! Trying to burn the stable has not helped much either.
He is feeling guilty of his attraction towards this new girl with whom he feels connected and so he wants to put the blame on someone. Finally Ajab is the only person he could put all his blames on! How dare she not try to talk it out with him or approach him even once! So he was expecting her to come and plead to him as if he would have listened to her.
How could she take such a step without his approval? He is behaving just like an enraged husband. He is taking the political decisions too personally! 😛
Ajab on the other hand has tried to accept the fact that no matter what Pratap will never accept her and she will never go to Mewad! She has tried to let go off her memories as if it was so easy! Now she finds this ashwapaalak Pratap and see glimpses of her own pratap in him so much so that she feels attracted to him. This man possesses the same qualities that once her Pratap had and she had fell in love with him. He trusted her! Whereas her Pratap didn't!!??
But that one moment of weakness leads her to feel guilty and punish herself. There is this connection between them which even she cant deny! Today when he came and snatched the ring from the sahukaar and when he was injured, he stirred up some emotions in Ajab just like the olden days.
Whereas regarding the pre leap and post leap is concerned...Pratap and Ajab are no longer children and as people grow so does their complexities and egoes. Hence we find them different from their childhood characters. But if we notice carefully they are behaving just as they did when they had met in childhood, arguing, fighting and losing themselves in each other's eyes!
Now Isn't anger the best way to hide what exactly you have in your mind and heart?? I think that is exactly what Pratap is trying to do! He came to Bijolia not just to find out the truth about what Patta had said but he wants to meet Ajab atleast once deep inside his heart which he is not ready to accept!
He could have easily deployed few of his guptachar or investigators but no he had to go on his own...And he is getting more and more restless because he learns how just she has been to the people of Bijolia! How can she be so good? After all she ruined his life so everything she does has to have a motive right!?? And so he thinks all wrong about her thinking she is taking revenge! Really Pratap revenge? Which means you did wrong her? Am I right!? Even when they were fighting off the daakus today he asks jija where her baijilal was?
