MP was a brave yodha who fought for his motherland...and dedicated his entire life to protect it against Akbar another great ruler who ruled over Akhand Bharat.
Many people in this forum want to watch MP's life as it really was. But my question is can we handle it??

MP's life was never a bed of roses.Yes, he fought bravely but god was never fair to him.
Under Rana udai Singh's rule..Mewar was captured by Akbar and the family had to flee...His own step mom was against him and tricked udai singh into declaring Jagmaal as his successor.
Though this decision was overruled, his problems were far from over...most of the rajput kingdoms aligned with the mughals..

And ofcourse the battle of Haldighati...the mughals were surprised by the valor of the rajputs but the end result was that Pratap had to leave the battle which they were losing to fight another day...

MP sacrificed a lot personally...he lost his horse Chetak..and we all know how much the hunger of his child affected him.

Are we brave enough to handle the real history?? So, isn't it better to watch the history a little diluted??
Yes, all this will definitely be shown...but isn't it better for our own sanity if we watch some romance and some light hearted moments in between?

I would also like to add something else...Ajabde died at an early age and MP married Phoolkawar at some point of time...

The man had a heart of gold and a mind of steel..his resolve was great but the challenges that he faced was strong too.

I am a normal being and i would rather watch something entertaining than watch real history because frankly speaking i cannot take it.

Well you maybe right or not...in some places it is given that she died at an early age.Well that's history. Some articles claim ajabde and pratap were not in love before their wedding so we are really not clear about anything

Off-course we can handle it very well ! We would have felted delighted cum proud to see real history . Maharana Pratap was a warrior and this show is focusing too much on his love life . I accept his mother and wife were his support who kept motivating him all his life but.. but he must not be shown as lover boy !

At present he is in bijolia now they'll show praja re-union for a month i know that 🤢 . Historically Pratap Ajabdeh were ideal pairs who never fought with each other but what creatives are showing is down right insult to MP and his queen .

What we can't handle is butchered history . I am all ready to see the Real history anyday because MP is known for all his struggle the so called real history not for some romance with his wives .

you should read more about Maharana Pratap ..ya his initial life was full of struggle but after Battle of HaldiGhati unk good time start ho gaya tha .. unhone Akbar se poora Mewad jeet liya tha .. unke bhai Shakti singh bhi unke paas vapis aa gaye the ...ha sirf chittor fort hi aisa fort bacha tha jise vo apni life mai hasil nahi kar paye the ..
You should read about battle of Dewar and battle of kumbhalgarh where he defeated Akbar with his small army .Mostly people know about Pratap's life upto Haldighati war .. but his real success started after that phase😊

What logic is this?😲
His history involves tough phases so it means it should be sugar coated, swamped down?

Sorry but truth is truth and it has to be faced. Rather it is inspirational how he and his aides never gave up no matter what adverse condition was!

It is shallow to say we only want entertainment and hence shred true history!

It is meant to be learnt from and be proud of, get inspired from. It is not something to run away from!

BTW stop posting wrong info.

People like MP were true patriots. Honestly the high experienced towards working for a noble cause is greater than any routine pleasure in life. This was mantra of Bhagat Singh and his comrades too, who had adopted freedom as their bride, revelled in their struggle and embraced martyrdom.

Everything is not harem drama or romance.

MP was part of establishment of Udaipur, spent better times there though he was very much involved in fortifying the city and devise strategies to win back Chittor. He was a patron of arts, scholarship in various subjects too. Chakrapani was one of the greatest scholars of that time and worked under MP. MP was an ace in architecture also. There is much more to his life than just family drama, romance or even battles. He spent peaceful years post Haldighati too, freed many territories with guerilla strategies.

When I read or watch history of past heroes I feel happy, proud and inspired. I feel more sense of responsibility towards the freedom we have and not to take things for granted. I don't feel weird or turn away face thinking it's too much to handle.

Finally entertainment has wide canvas. Only romance or family drama are not entertainment. Struggle, fight against odds, knowledge, culture, tradition, valour, wins, losses, joys, struggles all encompass entertainment.

If everyone thought this way then TV and films wouldn't focus on any other genre except romantic!

Frankly this was an insult to the great man and his legacy. Better watch romantic shows then instead of looking to turn away from history of the greatest freedom fighter of medieval India!
