Here is my analysis on my peeve with Ajab's recent behavior. I wrote this in response to Aru's thread , but thought i should post it in the AT as well [ :) ]

I don't think people(me included) are upset with Ajab because she is thinking of Phool,we are upset because she is not thinking of other MORE important issues.

I will start with why I love Ajab;s character:Unlike normal women characters in indian shows, she has several layers to her personality: She is intelligent, level headed,brave, practical, and someone in tune with events happening around her(read not clueless)

Her recent behavior is quiet uncharacteristic of her, may be it is the Cv's fault:

I think For Ajab the order of Priority as per my understanding are her parents>Matrubhoomi>Phool and then may be Pratap

Ajab understands naitikta, opcharikta and diplomacy ,case in point when the dasi came into inform her about Udai singh coming to meet her , she ticked her off saying he is the king of Mewar, if he wants to meet me he will summon me.She also knew , if Pratap gave RM kuldevi murti, it would help cement Mewar -Marwar retaliationship

Even at such a young age she is shown to be aware of dos and don'ts.Yet when she is insulted and thrown out of Mewar ..she didn't realize the diplomatic implications and fallout between Bijolia and Mewar ? Granted she has low self esteem issues and does not think she is important enough , but she should have gotten a clue when her dad rode all night to to Chittor to question US about his behavior.
He got royally insulted as well , again no reaction from Ajab on that .
MM broke all relationship with Mewar, but We didn't see Ajab thinking about it or even worrying about it even once. Unlike Phool ,Ajab is shown to be aware of the dangers Rajputana is in, she knows war is imminent.she is the princess of Bijolia , a tiny kingdom which had aligned itself with Mewar for Protection.But none of this matters to her.

She is shown to be worrying about Phool's feeling right now? 😕

she can write letters to Phool explaining her POV but

what about her parent's feelings.

When HB said it is Mewar's durbhagya,they rejected you. why didn't she tell her mom that

Mewar never rejected her...she did Balidan of her feelings for greater good:

she convinced US of the advantages of Phool -Pratap alliance.
She convinced Pratap for the alliance by talking about Rajputana's imminent danger.
And she convinced JB saying her mamta had become selfish and she was not thinking like a queen.

I know you guys think ,Ajab probably does not know about Mewar -Marwar war.

But it will be highly illogical and improbable , if the Cvs show that.

Ajab and HB know Pra- phool marriage broke,but they don't know the reasons and Fallout?😕

The news of War will always trump the news of someones broken marriage.

Bijolia had close relationship with Mewar for so long, i find it hard to believe they don't know about the war.

a marriage can happen in isolation , not war...

I want to draw a parallel between Pratap and Ajab here:his dad went and got married for the 4th time,yet he is focusing on war and how to mend relationship between Mewar and Marwar.not mooning on about his feelings and his mom's feelings.

He is dealing with the bigger problem first.

All of a sudden I don't see a jab that Pratap fell in love with , I see Gopi bahu of saathiya 🤢
