I read all 4 parts of your ss and I am awestruck ! this is going fantastic.

writing a historical fanfiction is a tough challenge because u have to always keep in mind the customs, culture, dress, foodhabits, a bit archaic way of speaking , the pure form of language,the political situation,Rajput chivalry and courtly manners, restrains and indifference exercised upon female folks in general with certain exceptions. and to bring out a love story juggling with all these clauses,sounds a mammoth task to even dare try... but here you're managing it with such efficiency, I am really falling short of words to appraise you. Please update fast ! looking forward to read other works of u too.

I am Shreya by the way. and sorry for dropping in like a hot potato out of the blue 😆 . I am new to this forum, I was active elsewhere...but stupid forum politics and bland storyline drove me away from there and I found safe recluse in Praja heaven ! and usually haunt hiral , celena , intrepid's threads and I would love to talk to you too !

People, next update!!!!! I don't have much to say...but this part...i really, really,really NEED ur comments to continue. I may get murdered after this, but please bear with this part. Till now- Ajab has saved Pratap's life. But he remains unconscious for 3 days. Maharani Jaivantha bai and Rana Udai Singh have arrived in Bijolia to meet their son on the 4th day of his unconsciousness. Rao Mamrakh tells them that Phoolkanwar saved Pratap's life and he doesn't introduce Ajabdeh to them. While the girls are in their room, one busy in make-up, other in her thoughts, Jaivantha bai sees her unconscious son and hugs him and showers him with mother's love, which brings Pratap back to his senses and he becomes conscious again.

"Rani maa...Daajiraj...aap yahan? Aur, ham yahan kaise aaye? Vo...vo gufa, Surtan Singh, aur vo vyakti jisne ham par war kiya tha? Vo kaun tha? Uska kuch pata chala? Hame yahan kaun laya?..."
"Arre, arre baujiraj...shant ho jaiye. Aap abhi-abhi to sachet huye hain." says Chakrapani, trying to relax the already hyper Pratap.
"Theek keh rahe hai Chakrapani. Teen din ke baad apni chetna me aaye hain aap. Kam se kam abhi to sawaal-jawaab band kijiye." says Vyenidas, adding a little humour to the situation.
Then addressing Jaivantha bai, Hansa bai says looking satisfied, "Sach me Jaivantha, aap ke aane se hi Kunwar Pratap sachet hue hai. Pichle teen dino me, inhe hamari dua-en, Rajvaidyaji ki aushadhi, aur Ajabdeh ki chinta aur dekh-bhal bhi mil gayi. Bas, maa ke prem ki kami thi, jo aapne aakar puri kar di."
Pratap immediately exclaims, "Ajabdeh?"
"Haan, haan baujiraj. Kya aapko kuch bhi nahi yaad? Us din kya hua tha?" asks Vyenidas.
"Errr...haan, vo Raoji aaye the par hame dhoond nahi paye the. Uske baad...uske baad...haan, haan, yaad aya...Ajabdeh. Haan, ve thi vahan. Aur...aur shayad...shayad aap log bhi vahi the." confesses Pratap after a lot of thinking.
"Shayad nahi baujiraj, ham pakka vahi the. Aur Ajabdeh bai sa ki vajah se hi toh ham vahan pahunch kar aapko bacha paye. Unhi ki vajah se to aap surakshit hain aaj." clears Chakrapani.
"Ek kshan.Raoji to keh rahe the ki rajkumari Phoolkanwar ne Pratap ke pran bachaye?" asks a suspicious and confused Jaivantha bai.
"Nahi, nahi Maharani sa. Raoji ko aavashya hi galat samachar mila hoga. Phoolkanwar bai sa ne nahi, Ajabdeh bai sa ne baujiraj ke pran bachaye hain. Ham vahi the, hamne sab kuch apni aankhon se dekha hai." confides Vyenidas.
"Mitron, hame sab kuch, shuruvat se, sach-sach jaanna hai. Aap logo ko jo kuch bhi pata hai, hame sab bataiye." Pratap orders and requests his friends.
"Batate hain baujiraj. Batate hain. To aapke mahal se jaane ke kafi der bad hame raj darbar me bulaya gaya tha. Vahan Ajabdeh bai sa ne bataya ki aapke pran sankat me hai." started Chakrapani.
"Ajabdeh ne bataya? Parantu, unhe kaise pata chala?" asks a curious Pratap.
"Pata nahi baujiraj. Yeh to hame bhi samajh nahi aaya. Vo to aap Ajabdeh bai sa ki itni prashansa karte rehte hain aur un par itna vishvas karte hain, isiliye hamne un par vishvas kar liya aur unka kaha maan kar, ham puri tayari ke saath jungle ke par vali gufa tak pahunche. Aur ve bilkul sahi nikli. Phoolkanwar bai sa bhi hatt karkar hamare saath aa gayi. Par ve to sirf khadi rahi, jo kuch kiya, Ajabdeh bai sa ne kiya. Unhone aapko dhoonda, aur pata nahi kaise unhe pata chal gaya ki aapko saamp ne kata hai. Phir unhone swayam aapke sharer se saara vish nikala..." continued Vyenidas.
Faint memories had flown into Pratap's head when he was trying to convey Ajabdeh about the snake bite. But when he heard that Ajabdeh herself sucked out the poison, he was shocked. He immediately spluttered out, "Kya??? Ajabdeh ne saara vish nikala hamare sharer se??? Aapne unhe aisa karne kaise diya? Unhe kuch hua to nahi? Ve theek to hain na???..."
"Ji haan baujiraj. Ve bilkul theek hain. Phoolkanwar bai sa ne to unhe aisa karne se roka bhi tha. Par Ajabdeh bai sa ke uttar se sab khamosh ho gaye. Spasht ho gaya unke uttar se, ki unki rago(nerves) mein Rajputon ka khoon dorta hai aur ve aapki kitni chinta karti hain." answered Vyenidas.
"Kyu, aisa kya kaha Ajabdeh ne?" asked Pratap.
"Ve kehti, Ham jaante hai ki yeh karya kitna ghatak hai. Parantu, ye karna bahut aavashyak hai. Kunwar Pratap Mewar ke rajkumar, aur rajputane ke bhavishya hain. Inke pranon ka mol hamare pranon se bahut adhik hai. Aur agar ham inke pran bachane ke prayas me apne pran kho dete hain, to hame bilkul dukh nahi hoga kyuki hamare pranon ka balidan hamari matr bhoomi ke liye hua, uske rakshak ko bachane me hua." said Chakrapani with an air of proudness.
After listening to this, the already high level of love, care, respect and appreciation for Ajabdeh in Pratap's heart increased even more. He had no words for her. Just a smile, that's all.
Chakrapani continued, "Phir aapko uthane ke prayas me unhe aapke ghav ke bare me pata chala. Unhone aapka ghav apni chunni se saaf kiya, aur us par aushadi lagakar apni chunni se band kiya..."
Pratap wanted to ask, Ajabdeh ki chunni...' but he kept it in his mind, making it a point to discover the details about it later.
"Phir ham aapko yahan mahal me laye. Rajvaidyaji ne aapka upchar kiya. Rani sa bhi aayi thi tab, haina?" said Chakrapani, aiming Hansa bai.
"Haan, hame to jaise hi pata chala, itne bhaybheet ho gaye the ham. Ham jab yahan pahunche, to pata chala ki Kunwar Pratap khatre se bahar hain, bas apni chetna me aane ke liye kuch samay lenge. Hamare hriday ko thodi shanti mili yeh sunkar. Parantu Ajabdeh ki halat dekh kar, ham phir darr gaye." answered Hansa bai.
" Kya hua? Ajabdeh ko kuch hua to nahi na? Abhi to hamare mitr keh rahe the ki ve bilkul theek hain? To phir..." spluttered Pratap rapidly, his voice and face full of concern.
"Arre, arre Kunwar Pratap. Aisa kuch nahi tha. Ajabdeh ki chinta mat kijiye. Apni kijiye. Ajabdeh bilkul theek hain. Vo to us din, Ajabdeh ko dekh kar ham bhaybheet is karan ho gaye the kyunki chehre par, lehenge par, haaathon par, kitna saara rakt laga hua tha. Aur keshon me ghass bhari hui thi. Aur unke honth, gulabi ki jagah kale ho gaye the. Aur apni chunni pata nahi kahan chod kar aayi thi ve. Sach kahe to, pehli drishti me unhe pehchanna asambhav sa tha."
Pratap was dumbstruck now. Ajabdeh had taken so much trouble and gone to this length to save him! WOW! Really? Ohkay...it was hard to believe that anybody could do that for anyone. And she did not have her chunni. That meant that it must be somewhere in his room itself. But that wasn't all. Pratap discovered some more truths when his friends continued their commentary.
"Haan, aur us din se aaj tak, Ajabdeh bai sa din-raat ek karkar aapki seva kar rahi hain. Pratidin samay se pahunch jaati hain aapki aushadhi ke liye. Ek kshan ki bhi deri nahi. Itni prarthna karti hain ve aapke liye. Aapki seva ko to jaise unhone apne jeevan ka lakshya bana liya hai. Kuch upar-niche nahi hone deti. Sab kuch swayam karti hain..." told Chakrapani.
Now this was really going beyong the line of belief for Pratap. Nobody would do so much for someone, whosoever it may be. But Ajabdeh did it, all for him. She was the only reson that he was breathing right now. But still, he had to voice out his feeling of surprise, "Kya Ajabdeh ne sach me aisa kiya?" he asked very slowly and silently. But before his question could be answered, a dasi came inside the room.

So guys, this is it for this part. Bohni wanted the Bijolia party to know the details about Ajabdeh's work in saving Pratap. Here it is. I may be recieving tamatars and eggs for not giving a single Ajabdeh scene in this update, but Ajabdeh existed in everybody's memories in this part, if not physically present. Next part onwards, i solemnly swear i'll make up for this blunder. PLease please please comment, i'm accepting criticism and praises as well. But, please, just comment and let me know ur views.. :)
