What this serial is showing is correct as of last few episodes?

- Akbar said today that he wanted to hunt down Pratap. But wasn't he originally after Udai Singh and Pratap came in picture later?

- What hunt down? Didn't he keep sending diplomatic missions to Pratap?

- Is it true Akbar and BK learnt about Pratap and Mewar from Afghans?

On Bundi:

Serial has tried to show today that Akbar had suggested Bairam Khan that they use Bundi against Mewar.

But a book about Maharana Pratap mentioned that US himself interfered in Bundi.
The king of Bundi (Rao Surtrad) was corrupt and chiefs themselves approached US to help them. US grabbed this opportunity and sent a soldier called Hada Surjan (a soldier from Bundi) there, made him king. In 1554 he sent Surjan to Bundi to capture it and this Rao Surtrad was easily defeated in that battle. Thereafter Bundi came in US' control.

I want to know how accurate is the timeline of events in this serial and how can they link Akbar to Bundi when book mentions that US got into the Bundi issue himself?

I have not yet come across any source that says BK and Akbar used Bundi against Mewar kingdom. Please shed some light on this!😕

I also want to know was Jaiwantabai indeed living in exile with Pratap? Did she not accompany US when he left Mewar? Was Pratap indeed placed under such oaths of not touching weapons ever?

What is fact? What is fiction? What about timeline and sequence of all events?

This is a serial about Rana Pratap. So definitely makers would try to show Pratap's opponent in a negative light.

Now we have to see whether they will portray Akbar as an ambitious foreign ruler or as a ambitious ruler who ultimately, with his pragmatism, could prove himself to be part of the Indian society. History after all remembers Akbar as one of the greatest rulers of India and not just as a foreign invader.

- It is true that Akbar used to send diplomatic missions to accept his offer to Sisodia family when Udai Singh was the king. He sent his messengers 6 times (don't know if the figure is true or not) to Sisodia family. When the first mission failed, Akbar used to sent his Rajput relatives like Bhagwan Das, Man Singh etc.

Pratap came to picture much later.

I have no idea about Bundi- Mewar- Mughal relationship. The way BK was shown to be involved in toppling down Mewar seemed quiet improbable to me.

Right now they are showing Akbar to be 15-16 years old. At that time, he had not concentrated on Rajputana and was busy getting back the kingdoms which Humayun had lost. Even this serial might not be maintaining the chronology of events. 😕

Nice topic.

I don't think Akbar nd Pratap were enemies when they were teens. Akbar was busy in winning back those territories which his father lost.

The way they are speeding up things and showing it this fast, I think that they r going to end the serial right after Pratap's teenage/Rajyabhishek, just like a member of the forum had previously posted 😕 As much as I hope the does not happen, that is the only logical explanation I find to this rushed showcasing of events

This serial is not making sense to me currently from history POV. I am searching yet still I have NOT come across any source which mentions any interference or presence of Pratap in Bundi.

And Akbar-Pratap rivalry certainly did not take place when they were teens!

Look Akbar was considered great because of his diplomacy and relatively softer stance compared to other Mughals. Otherwise he and his generals did indulge in massacres, crude politics in case soft diplomacy did not work. Though there is no denying that his politics and diplomacy was very very clever.

That said, this is also true that show will focus on glories of their lead character more.

Objectivity is barely possible in such cases. Sort of like how India blames Pakistan for all its problems whereas Pakistan blames India for all problems.😆

the show is showing on the basis of acts heppenned during those days now they are just evaluating thoughts of their own like for eg. it was told that pratap was brave so they trying to show the same ,it was also told that there were lots of attack happen but who did was not mentioned ye sirf kalpana hai ki in logon ne ki hogi , secondly i know that udaisingh had interrupted in boondi and producers are trying to show that it was started by pratap and udia singh had to interfere in between ans so there was a war ,

yeh jo hai iska praman to nahi hai bus un ghatnao ko kalpanik tarike se dikhane ki koshish ki ja rahi hai

they just want to make MP another jhansi ki rani show very frankly n now the disguise mission just like jhani ki rani pratap now disguise himself n go on mission killing rao surtan

these shows dnt really bother abt facts n figures thy want trp trp n trp none of them really bother abt our real gr8 history

i agree with u...they dnt bother about 100% real history...they take basic story from history & making it their own 😆
