This is so funny to me and accurate.

I fall in and out of love with this serial. I just returned to watching it again after taking a break in 2023. Sometimes the negativity and fussing are too toxic to watch daily.

However, I am interested to see if Lakshmi will discover that Rohan is her son. But I fear that if she does learn this, then the Oberois will use it against her and get custody of the kids by claiming she neglected her son. And, of course, Lakshmi can't share any of this with Rishi because she is right... she can't trust him. I love Rishi's character, but the truth is he is weak. Although he may fight goons and be a fun super dad, he rarely protects Lakshmi. I understand him wanting to be respectful to his mom and not go against her, but he allows Malishka to say untruths about Lakshmi consistently. Paro is a kid and has protected Lakshmi more than Rishi ever has in 1000+ episodes.

this is a kekta show, dont expect any logic.

rishi tries but he still lacks the spine that he needs as a husband & father. only time i ever saw him take a stand for lakshmi was when he called off his wedding with malishka & moved out to be with lakshmi, otherwise, i dont see much growth & rather see him be sidelined since makers are obsessed with malishka ( the makers are actually obsessed with the antagonists more than improving rishmi's bond).

plus even if they find out, like you said, lakshmi is to be blamed for neglecting her children thereby rishi gaining full custody unless rishi gathers the spine to defend himself, lakshmi and their children.

so true. i actually started to show more interest in rohan's track b/c the child actor playing rohan is actually a really good actor (have seen him for a brief stint in YRKKH and hos bond with his dad (harshad chopra)was the best). his bond with lakshmi and paro is quite nice to observe even though the show sucks big time since the makers are just regurgitating the same essence for almost 3 years.

I agree with you 100%.

Rishi's character has no growth. The only thing that has changed about him is his clothes/style. I am unsure how Rishi can be the CEO of a business/hotel chain but can't even speak up in his house. In the last episode, he pouted when his mom and Lakshmi didn't allow him to speak. He got upset, sat on the chair like a five-year-old, and refused to talk. But the writers do a great job of making most of the men in this series seem worthless, pitiful, and incapable of making sensible decisions.

And because this serial is repetitive, I know that Rishi is going to do something to hurt Lakshmi again towards the beginning of the year. It always happens.

I doubt Rishmi will ever reunite. If so, it will be short lived.

Going by the TRPs I think the serial itself is here for a little while only.

You’re right. I’ve noticed that the TRP has dropped weekly. I love the actors but the storyline is redundant. Even after the leap it’s the same old scenarios. No fresh content.

Here's how story goes, crisis (kidnap/accident/something else) Malishka plotting, everyone screaming at Laxmi, Laxmi still saves the day and is blamed some more and screamed at.. she might leave OM and come back in between... Dadi, Rishi, Aayush keep quietly observing never take a stand.

Rinse a repeat for last 2 years.
