@Leesan and jps01 - Can't resist looking at Bhagonwali - no matter how bad - but I just might join you on Kali Ghat. Think if there's a threat by all fans to jump off Kali Ghat, Zee might relent and keep our beloved show? That would be a really big stink, wouldn't it? I don't expect to get a response from Zee any time soon. Read somewhere that they had given an ultimatum to the CVs - two weeks to increase the TRP ratings or else ... ... That's so unfair to the international viewers, seeing that the TRP is based only on the Indian viewers! Zee definitely has no consideration for the int'l fans! TRP ratings my foot! Why don't they look at the Backstage India Poll and consider that too?

I find this whole situation is also so unfair to Himmanshoo Malhotra! He carried the show so well in Nivi's absence. The guy is so talented - I have seen top Bollywood actors with less than half his talent!! - Not to mention Zee's favourite actors - none of them are in Himmanshoo's league when it comes to talent! I hope Zee takes more notice of Himmanshoo!!!

I'm sorry to report that zee have a track record of there leads placing sindoor on women other than their wives. It happened, in pavitra rista, choti bahu 2 and also yahan meh ghar ghar kheli. They don't respect religion in any of the serials. As hindus we are all aware of the significance of that act, and it hurts our sensibilities. Marriages are used as mockery quite often.

@vedi821 - I remember those incidents with the sindoor in the shows you mentioned. I never thought much about it before I guess they weren't significant to me because those shows don't mean as much to me as Bhagowali, Runjhun and Guddu! Maybe it's time people start protesting to Zee regarding these totally unacceptable acts. It's a mockery against the institution of marriage and belittles the significance of the sindoor, not to mention a religion with its roots in India! Women take such pride in wearing the sindoor!

I always had the impression that Zee tried to promote morals and values in their serials. but I may have to re-think that. I would like to hear Zee's views on this topic!

@vedi 821, ...thank you so much for your gentle and dignified post!!! Such a refined lady you appear to be, unlike yours truly...all fire and brimstone !!! But so poignant all the same. I am not Hindu, not even Indian ( though I discovered recently that one of my great grandmothers was originally from India!!!). But I do admire and respect the culture, and have been exposed to it for a lot of my life. I have traveled a lot and hope to visit sometime in the future as well. So I can understand your hurt and disappointment with the way some shows tend to take liberties with the institution of marriage which you hold so near and dear to your heart.

Still think it's not going to happen, unless the CVs really have some sort of "death wish" for BBAT!!! Too late for that it seems!! But the truth is I really don't know anymore! Everything has turned upside down and inside out, and I don't understand why...and how it got to there. Not sure if I believe that Zee tv ultimatum TRPs story , seems a bit of an over reach , but then again, we have no effect on the TRPs anyway. Never quite understood what they were anyway!! Forgive my rambling, but I guess it's better than my usual ranting and raving!!! I'll spare you that for tonight!!😉!!
