The episode starts from when the door bell rings and Dev's mother goes towards the door. The moves moves from Suhana' s pic and the door. (it makes u think that Suhana is at the door but u r disappointed).
When she opens the door, it is Gitanjali. She is smiling. Dev's mother is left staring at her. Gitanjali asks her why she is looking at her like that? She replies that why has she got so much sindoor on her forehead. Dev comes from behind Gitanjali and says that they went to the mandir. Dev's aunt says that was there all that u ccan get sindoor at the temple so u filled her maang to overflowing. Dev just smiles and tells his mother that they have decided to look to the future and forget the past. Dev's mother embraces them both and they get the mother's blessings.
On the other side, Mehak is trying to persuade Suhana to come with her back to the house. She refuses. Suhana tries to explain things to her but she refuses to listen. Suhana tells mamaji to explain things to her. He begins to but his mobile rings. It is Dev.
Dev is trying to ring Mehak and her mamaji but they are not answering the phone. He says that where are they gone? Its been a long time since they've been gone. He rings the phone again.
Mamaji phone rings again. He tells Mehak that her father keeps ringing and they should go. He leaves the room to answer the phone. Mehak stops him and asks for the phone. He gives it to her and walks back towards her mother. She answers the phone and Dev asks her where she is. She begins to say that Dad... Suhana grabs her other hand and puts it on her head and shakes her own head to stop her saying anything to her father. She just says that they are at a Devi's mandir and they'll be home soon. Her mamaji grabs her and takes her away. Suhana says Mehak and she cries.
At home, Dev is walking backwards and forwards in the rom when Mehak and her mamaji walk in. Gitanjali asks her where she was. Mehak doesn't say anything. Dev tells her to answer her mother. Mamaji says that they went out sight-seeing. Dev tells everyone to stay quiet and not interfere and that Mehak has to apologise to her mother and say mummy. Mehak says sorry and tries to call her mother but is unable to. She just shakes her head and walks away and goes upstairs. She lays on the bed and cries.
Gitanjali follows her and asks her to open the door but she doesn't say anything. Gitanjali goes away after not getting any answers. Mehak sits up and thinks about all her memories with her mother. She sees the garland photo of Suhana. She gets up anad etenguishes the diya that was set in front of the pic with her palm.

The scene is replayed with Mehak going to the pic. After putting the diya off, she grabs the garland around the photo and throws it away. She says to the pic, why did u give me yr kasam, mum why?
Downstairs, Gitanjali is asking Dev why he had to behave so strongly to Mehak as she is a lil child. Dev replies that if he hadn't come across so strong today then....... and walks away from them all.
Dev's mother says that what is happening? I don't understand anything. Mamaji replies that whatever is happening will happen. What is written will definately happen. No one can stop it. Gitanjali looks shocked at mamaji words.
Mandira (Dev's sister) is in her room with her husband and asks him (hesitantly) about going to her mother's house as there is a diwali party and she hasn't met Dev;s new wife as yet. He tells her to take his mother. She asks him to go with her. Her mom-in-law comes an tells him to go as Dev has married again. He should go and see what happiness is got by getting wed again. He says ok and that he'll try to make it but if not she could go herself. They both leave.
Preparations are being made for the party. Dev asks why the fuss. Dev's mother replies that it is Gitanjali 1st Diwali in this house and she will be able to introduce Gitanjali as yr wife and my daughter-in-law properly to everyone. She tells him remember how yr marriage takes place so she can make a fuss now if she wants to. He nods her head and she leaves. Mehak is standing in the corner an listened to the talks. She looks very sad. Dev just looks at her.

Mamaji tells Dev that everything will be alright. He will explain to Mehak. Dev says that he wants Mehak to bring Gitanjali downstairs to the party. Mamaji says that it will happen.
Mehak in her bedroom says that she doesn't understand what's happening. He reminds her that she promised her mother that she wouldn't say anything to anybody so she won't. He tells that she has a responsibility to others in this house. She has to do what Dev wants for his sake if not for anyone else's. It's Diwali so she can't be sad and to give him a smile. She smiles. They hug.
Dev is meeting his guests and mingling with others. One guest asks why the big do. His aunt replies tat Dev's wife and Mehak's mother will be introuced to everyone today. He congratulates him and they shake hands. Dev sees Mehak and he goes to her and asks her to get Gitanjali and bring her down. She starts to say something when mamaji puts his hand on her shoulder and stops her. She goes inside.
Gitanjali is being dressed etc by Rishika and Mandira. Rishika asks Mandira how bhabhi looks. She replies that very nice. Rishika says to Gitanjali that I know why u looking so sad etc as Dev has asked Mehak to come and take u down and she isn't here yet. Gitanjali says yes, I was thinking.... Mandira interrupts and says that u keep thinking and Mehak is already her to get u. Mehak is at the door of the room and she gets flashbacks of her mother, father etc. The camera moves from Mehak, Gitanjali and Suhana. Ends on Mehaks sad face.
PRECAP:- Dev is in Mehak's room. He is looking around her room and notices the diya that has been blown out and the garland lying on the floor. He looks shocked.

Today's episode was centered on Mehak and she has acted superbly and has portrayed the dilemma she is with confidence and brilliant acting. Dev looks very different with his slicked back black hair. I don't like his look. I liked it better before the leap occurred.
Mehak looked beautiful at the end in her red and gold dress (no shoulders) with a gold shawl around her arms and a silver chain around her neck. She looked very grown up. No much of suhana shown except at the beginning.
I am waiting for the time when Dev discovers that his beloved wife is still alive. What will he do? Will he leave Gitanjali and go back to Suhana (the love of his life and who he still obviously loves) or stay with Gitanjali? What will happen regarding Kamal, Will Suhana find out that he is her son, Will she want him back and how will Mehak react when she discovers what her father has don, i.e kept her brother (chotu) away from ehr and given him to someone else?
I am eager to find out the answers to these questions. Hopefully soon.
