But Maya was never alright..we all know that ,don't we? Which person in their right state of mind, does stuff that Maya does? Faking pregnancy, inflicting wounds on themselves, drugging their husband and then faking an attempt to rape? Maya is not alright and she is not supposed to be.. I am sure many of us watch way more sadist, creepier stuff in American and British shows and we rave about them. they are executed brilliantly.. Here in the promo of the show itself,Maya was introduced as a psychopath.. someone who can burn down the pandit's cottage just because he didn't say things that fell in line with Maya's wishes.. That's how Maya is.. She CAN hurt people.. If she is indeed the person who killed Ashwin, as many of us think, is it that big a deal for her to physically hurt someone, as long as its not Arjun? I don't think so.. Infact, Beyhadh is a much melllowed down version of a psychological thriller and Maya has barely done anything that qualifies her as an actual psychopath/sociopath..

a) It's not butchering, imo. Because this was how Maya's character has always been, all they're doing is making her climb up the ladder and make her reach her maximum potential/degree of psychopathy. b) She's not alright, yeah. c) No one has the right to torture others on the basis of an abusive/traumatic past, agreed.

Even I thought if it's really butchering. That's how she is ..was and will remain till end I suppose. Redemption is too much for her I guess.

lost for words after watching todays episode, it was sickening, had to fast forward most of it

I don't know but I feel every form of evilness is a mental illness. Aswin was a mad man too according to me only. Sadism is a mental illness too and we are seeing that in every generation of mehrotras.

All TV vamps are mentally ill, difference is that they don't have 'abusive childhood' part to justify their all evil deeds.

Maya isn't a vamp. She's the hero. 😆
A hero worth hating with every passing day. 😡

She believes everyone wrongs her. She only pays back. But how she does remain unseen to herself. 🤢

This show has crossed all limits of beyhadhgi.😆
After today.

I do not think so! The show has just moved into one more interesting(?) aspect of her mental illness!
Given, 1oo plus episodes are yet to come . . .
Still, Saanjh & Arjun are not united!
Considering more drama is in the offing, one can safely bet Maya is not done with her antics!

Her best(!) is yet to come, even as one shudders to imagine!
