Maya is too smart for Saanjh.

Saanjh is doing something foolish at the expense of Vandana's life.

Vandana is foolish to get into the lion's den.

Unless Vamdana gets Maya out of action for some days, the plan wont succeed. Perhaps another trip for Maya and Arjun.

I think Saanjh will succeed this time. Maya has to be punished so that the story can move forward. After that Maya will get her redemption or take revenge. That's the only way I can see the story moving forward.
