He can play the doctor for all these sick people. Sanjh needs someone like Samay badly after her broken heart but from the way she said that Arjun can't be replaced proves that A is going to be her priority. And it's better to call it off such a toxic marriage like Maya-Arjun . But Maya still wants to hang on to it as she would be left with nothing if not for this relationship. There needs to be an intelligent, cool n understanding someone who would show her the reality of the relationship. Samay might be that person who would set everyone off their misery. Yup he surely gives the AK character's vibe from OMG. The way cv's subtly hinted from his dialogue "Do send my love to the jaan that is waiting for u at home" gives me hope that Samay might change , liberate n love our little devil. .. Maya needs Samay more than Sanjh does. ...

On the other hand, lack of trust creates either jealousy or sense of insecurity. And such relations are just flash in the pan & quickly die down.

Even physical attraction or material interests won't work long!

Maya's extreme sense of insecurity will never let her trust anyone, even Arjun. CCTVs micro phones etc are case in point.
Yes! she will hold on to him by obsession. And that is not love! And it will be only painful!

Their love had every other thing physical charm, material interest & sense of insecurity (opposite of trust/conviction!) and naturally failed the test of time!
This is the problem of Maya-Arjun couple!

Maya will soon face Saanjh Samay ( meaning twilight before darkness) in her marital iife!

When the darkness descends, she will take a beyhadh roop!

Actually, at present, I have 2 options to suggest.

OPTION 1: SAMAY BEING POSITIVE, is Mr. Fix-It (mark the irony) [who you term as 'Madhav']

@Red: That is exactly what I thought. Agree completely with you. Though, I feel that there is very less likelihood of Samay personally knowing Maya from before (this is my impression from Friday's episode).

However, I somehow sometimes question myself: what if he is related to Jhanvi or knows her or about her circumstances? Something like that may be used in future by the CVs.

Now, I come to my OPTION 2: SAMAY BEING GREY OR WHOLLY NEGATIVE

What if Samay has some connection to Ashwin? (I understand that this might turn out to be too predictable/cliche). So, what if Samay is an out-and-out psychopath? (presuming Maya to be more of a sociopath). In modern times, only, a Jim Moriarty can bring out the best traits of Sherlock, right? Besides, watching Moriarty at his cleverest can be fun.

Now, this Second Option, I only considered because of Piyush's career-graph really. He likes mixing it up (playing protagonists as well as anti-heroes). And to be frank, I found him to be excellent in 3 soaps, in all of which he had played grey-shaded characters.

So, while Option 1 would allow Samay to set the boundaries of all three leads; Option 2 would bring some (much needed) perspective for all three leads., thereby leading to progression in their characters.

Eagerly waiting for your viewpoints on my take (if you have the time)

It was a nice opinion which u gave abut sammy. So you are a piyush fan in our forum... He may be a angel or a demon... he also must be like mayas character interesting and unique as u said. Even i think that he will play a grey character. Either he will trun out grey after seeing saanjh and arjuns limitless bakwaas .. This is ma first time seeing him on television..sounds weird but its true. like to see his talent. When talking abt the entry it was stunning. And loved hi gesture...

See Samay is with Saanjh or Dusk. Dusk has both the elements good bad, light and darkness, it is twilight. So whether you will be on the side of light or side of darkness depends on the actions you do in the twilight zone or rather I would say at the time of moral conflicts.

Whether you will listen to logic or whether you will listen to your heart, where it is said resides the voice of the God. If head darkness will come, if heart you will move towards light. This is just an idea. Need to see how it plays out.
