@Blue: I really don't think Samay's character is intended to fall for Maya or even to pretend to fall in love with Maya. I personally think Samay can play the role of a puppeteer (easy with Arjun-Saanjh at present; can be very difficult at the same time very easy with Maya) or an illusionist or a Prof. Moriarty (thinking of Andrew Scott!). I guess I am having too high hopes from a Hindi soap.

I seriously don't think Samay would come in between ArYa because if that was the purpose, wouldn't that be too cliche (CVs of Beyhadh promised to show the audience the unexpected).

@Green: I don't think that even Arjun's death can break this tie (of Arjun-Maya, at least in Maya's mind), but, yes, if Maya dies, then this tie definitely will be broken.

@Pink Is it going to be then, her ultimate liberaion/salvation /redemption from her obsessive self in the courts of her True Friend whom she got separated now while giving primacy to Arjun in her relationship?

Welcome dear. Finally I am seeing someone who thinks Samay can be the Madhav of the show. Yes he will have many shades. For me he will break the perceptions. First the facade of Maya, then that of each character. He will place every character in the right position so that truth wins, knowledge wins, ultimately love wins. Basically I feel he will set the limits of all the 3 leads. Because for me all of them have gone Beyhadh or beyond limit in their own way for what they think is right.
Saanjh's weakness for Arjun and willing to go any length for Arjun even tolerating his bad behaviour and supporting his bad habit is Beyhadh
Maya's obsessive control is Beyhadh
Arjun's need for extreme freedom is Beyhadh.

I agree his entry was cool. But to have my views on him I need to see a few more episodes to have an opinion regarding Samay.
But what intrigued me is twice he mentioned Maya... like when he said that Arjun should be careful as someone who loves him is waiting for him at home and also before leaving he says give your wife my love.
In the end the screen freezes with Arjun Maya nd Samay's pic was also interesting
& welcome to our forum. Hope u have a great time here.

Maya might even try to seek 'revenge' by trying to separate Saanjh-Samay( we need a couple name for them btw) just to make Saanjh feel the very same insecurity Maya felt when Arjun and Saanjh were together...we never know..
Or probably both Saanjh and Samay will help ArYa gain a bit more of sanity and healing.

I am curious about what the show has in cover for us.

I don't know. You might be giving the CVs ideas.😉

@Brown: Frankly speaking, and this based totally on what I've been able to interpret from Maya's earlier behavior pattern, I don't think Maya would be interested in Samay-Saanjh's business as long as it doesn't interfere with HER Arjun and her own life together. This is my understanding and it can be completely off mark.

@Blue: Somewhere I believe that Samay might play with all three leads or he may set the boundaries for the three main leads (thereby justifying that hadh se zyaada kuch bhi achchha nahi hota).

Good question.

Truthfully speaking, the answer to this one can be very subjective and would depend on any particular audience's perception.

For me, while watching a daily soap, it's more about the process (journey) than the end (doesn't mean the end is not significant, because it is, as it makes me contemplate and even sometimes allows me to spread the wings of my imagination further). But, it's too early for me to choose between salvation (in death) and redemption (through getting treatment and reforming herself).

I surely at this point do not believe Maya is beyond all help. I just believe that Maya at first needs to fight her own battles. Samay or Arjun do not really need to take her to a psychiatrist for medical help. All they need is to be good listeners. Maya for me has enough strength that if she resolves to change herself she can do it [of course her phobias and insecurities need to be treated by experts, but, I personally believe that Maya can herself consult a shrink once she has self-realization (for want of a better term) and started fighting her childhood demons].

I don't know whether my words make any sense to you. If I have been unable to get across my viewpoint, please reply and I'll try to explain further my take on the whole issue at present.

Unreserved.

Hi!

Thank you for your warm welcome.

Actually, at present, I have 2 options to suggest.

OPTION 1: SAMAY BEING POSITIVE, is Mr. Fix-It (mark the irony) [who you term as 'Madhav']

@Red: That is exactly what I thought. Agree completely with you. Though, I feel that there is very less likelihood of Samay personally knowing Maya from before (this is my impression from Friday's episode).

However, I somehow sometimes question myself: what if he is related to Jhanvi or knows her or about her circumstances? Something like that may be used in future by the CVs.

Now, I come to my OPTION 2: SAMAY BEING GREY OR WHOLLY NEGATIVE

What if Samay has some connection to Ashwin? (I understand that this might turn out to be too predictable/cliche). So, what if Samay is an out-and-out psychopath? (presuming Maya to be more of a sociopath). In modern times, only, a Jim Moriarty can bring out the best traits of Sherlock, right? Besides, watching Moriarty at his cleverest can be fun.

Now, this Second Option, I only considered because of Piyush's career-graph really. He likes mixing it up (playing protagonists as well as anti-heroes). And to be frank, I found him to be excellent in 3 soaps, in all of which he had played grey-shaded characters.

So, while Option 1 would allow Samay to set the boundaries of all three leads; Option 2 would bring some (much needed) perspective for all three leads., thereby leading to progression in their characters.

Eagerly waiting for your viewpoints on my take (if you have the time)
warm regards
Priya

Welcome to the forum!
As the ending scene was Maya Arjun and samay
I mm sure this is an indication he is going to directly effect them and their relationship...
maybe he is here to make Arjun realize his mistakes potentially by making him a little jealous ;)
Let's see what the upcoming episodes have in store for us!
Story is seriously becoming More interesting day by day :)

Thank you for your warm welcome.

@Blue: Wise decision, if I may say so.

His mentioning about Maya twice (indirectly) and the ending picture for me signified that Samay will play a very important role in ArYa's life or in reforming (or maybe even aggravating) Maya and Arjun's characters, albeit separately (at initial stage). However, I might be assuming too much and may turn out to be completely wrong.
