A lot's been said about the scene where Maya rests her foot on Jhanvi's shoulder.. People ( including myself ) found it disrespectful and not in good taste.. I am curious to know the reason in the mind of the makers to show that scene.. My understanding says that particular gesture kinda shows Maya's detachment to reality.. Reality being that her mother is a person not a furniture.. She is so occupied in her head and her heart about Arjun that she overlooks everything else in her surrounding, including her mother.. She has done that before too in one scene where she had her feet on Jhanvi's lap and Jhanvi was doing her nails.. I think..many mother's and daughters do share that kind of a relationship.. I do though wouldn't put my feet on her but that's just me I guess.. In case of Maya, at times I got the feeling that she has become oblivious to Jhanvi's pain.. just coz she is paralyzez doesn't mean she can not feel emotions.. This is the same Maya who used to be so protective of her mother.. Now for her it's only and only Arjun.. Jhanvi is only needed ( by Maya ) when she needs a human figure to talk to about herself and Arjun..

Now if Vandana and Ayan also dont support her, she will go behind on her own. After all it is the dosti of the century. Never matter who all gets affects, whose all heart is broken. What will happen to her parents, Samay nothing matters. If someone matters one and only Arjun. Once again Shubham starts the chain of Arjun jhap by making the TV switched on when Samay was not there. I loved the dialgoue, when I am not there you all started entertainment. It had deep meaning. Shubham it seems somewhere feels Arjun should pay for bringing sorrow to his sister. Otherwise I didnt understand why he couldnt give a proper hand shake to his would be jeeju. Saanjh will go. She will go beyhadh in the friendship of the millenium. Once again feeling sorry for Prem and Suman.

Coming to Maya. She is another delusional case like Saanjh. This girl seriously cannot take anything rubbish about Arjun. Doesnt understand why he is feeling frustrated or doesnt want to admit. Jhanvi feels sorry for her, when she says she will not be like her. Maya has now more or less become like Jhanvi.

Press conference. Once again Arjun did manhandle Maya. He took her frustration on her.But otherwise it was the perfect perception creation of upper class couple that everything is fine between them. Maya told one statement today publicly. Arjun has never hit her in anger and indirectly told hitting her in love is his right. My God this girl even defines domestic violence as love. Doesnt understand why she should let go of Arjun. It is getting toxic

Saanjh is again waiting & hoping something to be wrong in arjun relationship.

Poor samay hope he keeps himself sane in all this ruckus of madness & pagal ppl 😆😆 mainly with saanjh bcoz she is one sane looking weirdo 😆

And apart frm saanjh another interesting char is vandana.. whenever she is coming on tv that actress is too irritating with her stupid wide mouth expressions.

Today's episode was very annoying to see. ArYa scene was fine, but their individual scenes were so irritating and annoying. And does Arjun really think being macho means beating your wife? What was that? -__- And, he doesn't even feel any wrong, guilt or anything. I thought may be in anger he didn't even have the time to realize he was being physically abusive to Maya, but even after their leaked reports on news papers and people talking about it, he didn't realize or feel any guilt, any sense I'd wrong, or anything for physically abusing a woman. Does he even miss his own family? No matter how wronged Vandana was, if he did accept her as his mom, so despite all wrongs of hers doesn't he miss her as a mom? What about Ayaan? Like does he even care about any of his relationships? 🥱

Coming to Maya, I feel like pushing her or anything when she's acting so delusional. She put her foot on her mom and went into her day dreaming about Arjun, not even realizing what she was doing and started singing -__- I felt laughing at first, but then I found it so cringworthy go see her this way. Idk if I should feel angry or what when she's ill and doesn't even realize she's this way, but it's just irritating now the way she has become. She blames others for Arjun's acting this way, blamed Saanjh for using Arjun when Arjun was more in fault, left her God, now acting this way with mom and dreaming about Arjun, calling violence as love, etc. She has become blind. Her whole life revolves around Arjun now in a very unhealthy way. She needs help, treatment, and whatever it's to bring her to reality and her senses to act normal. She has completely become Jhanvi and much worse than her now.

Coming to Saanjh, she's so stupid and annoying. So now she's using Samay even though she's still in love with Arjun. Why be with someome if you are in love with someome else and give the other person the most priority than anyone else? Has she ever considered any relationship with respect and treated it right? She doesn't listen and care about her parents, the other guy she used too, wasn't even happy for Ayaan's bail just because another girl got the limelight, and now using this guy all for Arjun. She doesn't care about anything and anything when it comes to Arjun. She has no loyalty to anyone no matter how much she claims too or think shes normal. Her first priority and loyalty is towards Arjun and goes completely blind when it comes to him. I felt bad for Prem since he was so hopeful, relieved and happy seeing Samay, but this moron was only worried and thinking about Arjun. Any girl will be lucky to have a father like Prem and a person like Samay. Not just Samay and Prem, any girl will be lucky to have other people she has in her life who love and care so much about her. But no she would rather run after a married man in the disguise of friendship.

P.S The only part I liked was Arjun kissing Maya. Even thought it was forced on his part but whatever...Samay was another character whom I wanted to see more than others. He was such a fresh air among all the idiots. Seeing his character, he only brings the corrections among others and make them go towards the right path. The first scene he made Arjun remind him of Maya's love for him to stop and correct the way he was going towards self-destruction, and today to Saanjh when he said he wouldn't let her remember past or something he said. I think he will say and do something when it comes to Maya too if they meet to make her go towards the right path.

Shruti, you had said Maya will go towards Jhanvi's path and Arjun towards his father's way from the beginning of the show. How did you know Maya will be like Jhanvi? I mean why did you think she would go this way and what's the Cvs point of showing her towards Jhanvi's way? She has actually become worse than Jhanvi now because at least even though Jhanvi was blind in her love and would still used to run back to Ashwin being blind in his love, she was used to realize that his physical abuse was wrong and didn't use to call it love. And today Maya said had she been in Jhanvi's place, she wouldn't have done that with her daughter. Does that forshadow ArYa will have a daughter and Maya will actually be still blind in love and not care about the daughter?

@ashpat Samay will go to next mode for sure. Yes he too has manipulation skills, but he does it direct on the face. I am happy it is happening that way. Because everyone problem was Maya manipulating from behind. Now let Samay confront and let us see how the mahan dosti is justified by Saanjh everytime

@Misty I dint know like you what exactly to feel about that scene. I felt Maya to be like a child lost in the delusional world. Not a grown up women of say 27-28 but a child of 9. That 9 year old alter ego creates the most problem in her

@poojie when illusion breaks more than Arjun, I am worried for Maya herself, she can attempt suicide, she is incapable of taking failure

@Nithu exactly when Samay put hot pakodas on newspaper the look on Saanjh was as if he did a crime. The same imagined crime that is always directed at Maya. Coming to my post what can I do when I see delusional people running away from reality

@Darling if you read epics, if you correlate your own life you will understand that history repeats itself. History is changed only when you travel the old path but take a different choice than your predecessors. I call it change of direction. If you continue in the same path, if not this generation, the next generation will end your lineage. To survive, to flourish, to sustain you need knowledge of the time, and timeless knowledge. Also you need the direction in which you need to apply this knowledge. If mistakes are not corrected it is the end. if you take any civilization, any empire, any thought, any culture you can see the end happens in the same fashion. So it is was clear the past will play out

@shruthiravi, what I like about Suman is that it's as straight as a the crossing

barrier. This may seem rude, but in fact it is her plus

She never draws conclusions simply. She looks at the situation and projects the next one. And she is right, if Arjun can never build a relationship with his family (yes, Vandana's fault is there, but Arjun could not arrange peace in one territory), why could he keep, fix, build relationship with Maya? And he could not. He always gives up. He knows how to tolerate and get angry, sometimes to cajole, but not to decide

If he could raise his hand to Dusky, then why would he not do this with Maya? He can, Suman is right

And that's why I didn't want him to raise his hand on Dusky - it's the trigger hook, the point of no return. If this happens, then this is forever. It will not change anything either

As for Arjun himself, this guy doesn't lose his inherent impudence - directly in the eyes of people, he declares that he didn't beat Maya. Yes, he didn't beat her as he was beaten in the ring, but that never once canceled the bruises on her body, my dear Arjun. You raised your hand to the girl, and you do it all the time. And there is no way back from here

Dusky's detachment from reality is even more than Maya's, for me. Maya has at least a reason, but Dusky. This is an incurable case. Let's see, Samay's reaction for so-called friendship

@Laska Suman I have found to be a very grounded lady. When she felt Saanjh loved Arjun, she asked her to confess. it was dusky who didnt confess. When Arjun's marriage was fixed, this lady came in to Vandana's house accepting Arjun's choice. Again she gave a sensible advice to Saanjh to stay away. She felt uncomfortable on the friendship even before bhaang happened. Yesterday also she was sensible. If Maya had Suman in her life I can vouch she would have been a different girl. Because what Maya lacked was exactly that. A mother who could be grounded.

Saanjh have everything. But the pity is she is throwing away. She is not taking signs. VM took all the apashaguns. The apashaguns are happening right in front of Saanjh, hints are being given to her. Time is giving. But no. Her thandav wont stop.

Arjun from beginning was a man who couldnt take responsibility

I can at least understand what Maya is doing though I don't justify her actions but Saanjh, I cannot understand at all.

Maya has no one to guide her or get her proper treatment. She don't even have a good friend(which I hope Samay becomes).

But what is Saanjh's excuse. She has a loving family, a good BF and even VM & Ayaan. But one mention of Arjun and she's ready to forget all these relations. I understand friendship but this is plain obsession. Just like Maya, Saanjh is ready to let go off all relations in her life for her so-called best friend. Makes me wonder, who's really a duffer, Arjun or Saanjh. I'm sure the moment she gets Arjun for herself she's going to cut off all others from her life just like she cut off those photos just to include her and Arjun.

As much as try to understand Saanjh and her friendship the more frustrated I get. Because this kind of friendship is also toxic.

Oh and I really feel bad for Samay. He got caught in the middle of everything, Maya's obsession, Dusky-Duffer's so-called friendship and all the utter stupidity that's following. I have advice for this guy, "Run baby Run" if you love your life and your mental sanity. Because one week these people is enough to drive a man crazy.
