Shruti even i felt that way. Samay is the male version of Maya may be a little toned down version. From his dialogues and the way he handles situations it's evident that he has a crucial role to play .

Not going by the spoilers , but his reaction after seeing Saanjh and her toxic obsession which can destroy the Mathurs and Sharmas seems scary to imagine ..

The makers are keeping the audience factor in Maya,Samay and Jahnvi's character sky high ..while Arjun and Saanjh are merely fillers now .May be Saanjh will fight for Arjun and Maya's truth can be out or Maya can win the game the Gone Girl Way

If Arjun had remained the Arjun that Maya fell in love with (though personally I never saw any reason), then he wouldn' t have to see this day.. I hadn't watched the episode where Arjun gets drunk and meets Saanjh in the restaurant.. its not just how pathetic he must have made Maya feel when he lied and sneaked out of the house leaving her waiting for dinner, then drank his life out ( on Maya's money) cozying up to his bestie.. How Maya must have felt when he said he loves Saanjh.. and that Maya is a biwi and that house has rules that tie him down, whereas Saanjh is his friend who lets him be.. and eventhough Saanjh was not in their lives for 3 years, Arjun must have done something to rub Maya the wrong way, like he did that day and on holi..his wayward, irresponsible and callous behaviour must have crossed limits which has made Maya be the way she is now with Arjun.. because one thing is for sure, Maya had genuinely loved him and wanted nothing but love from him.. Now there is no love or maybe its in some cold storage back somewhere.. If Arjun thinks he can get away with abusing her and at the same time drive HER expensive car, drink expensive beer of HER money and then at the same time rekindle his relationship with Saanjh, he is higly mistaken.. He will have to pay for every action of his..

P.S- Samay knows Maya? not sure and not sure I want it that way.. but the way their first meeting is being delayed, makes me wonder if they have a history..

Loved Ayaan again in today's episode.. that's how it should be.. when he loved he loved wholeheartedly.. even went against his own mother for his dear bhaiya-bhabhi.. but now an apology is due and unless he gets that he is not going to forgive Arjun.. Atta boy!

Exactly Misty dawn. If Arjun had remained what he was Maya would have remained what she was. Even today Samay gave private time to Saanjh and Arjun trusting them, Maya too had given it. She didnt come to seperation not even after the bar incident, but after the fire incident. Today Samay too observed a tad uncomfortably when Saanjh-Arjun tried to start their PDA and stopped. He was checking whether Saanjh can be in limits. And Saanjh she didnt tell who Samay is, Samay has to tell. That shows how much Saanjh has moved on.

@Nandy yes Samay is a male version of Maya. Looks uber cool but makes you pay for your actions in such a way you dont point fingers at Samay.

Saanjh has not moved on, not one inch and still lives in hope.. a hope that Arjun is going to encourage I am sure..On the phone when she was inviting Samay for the party she said she wants to celebrate the end of something and the beginning of something new.. End being what? Her hope that if Maya doesn't get pregnant she can still hope to have Arjun back? I was catching up on some old episodes yesterday.. the one where she almost kisses Arjun and then stops when she sees Maya tattooed on his chest.. what is the tattoo hadn't been there? and later when she was eating pani puris at the stall to let out her pain and hurt , she looked like a legit maniac, the way she was smiling and crying.. even before during the wedding ceremony when she out mehendi on her hand I was like ok this one is mad too..😆 I am getting similar vibes from Samay now.. his smile is very eerie sometimes but I like the way he exercises his control over Saanjh and Arjun who comes across like a spoilt brat..

So post leap Arjun is feeling suffocated with Maya's beyhadh love...thats what he told her & the insensitive person he is pushes his wife out of the car... the car which is actually hers and not bought from his hard earned money! If he was so much suffocating and hating her y enjoy all the luxuries offered by her! The man is clearly greedy!

Miss Smiley has not moved on... she is still stuck to Arjun & as I thought was waiting for an opportunity to crawl back to him! She heard the news of Maya being pregnant pretended to look happy... y I felt it was more like face smiling and heart burning.

Then came the big moment of dusky duffer meet which wS straight away copied from KKHH when Rahul and anjali meets at the camp after a long gap... only difference being that my heart skipped a beat when I saw them & this crappy version made my stomach churn in disgust!

Samay leaves them to have their moment looked weird to me ..cuz I have nvr in my life met a boy so understanding of such things! Usually they like to stay there and not go!

Saanjh's lovelorn looks at Arjun r back... Arjun was supposed to look heartbroken hearing the news of saanjh' s got a fiancee but KTs below average acting as usual made it look he couldn't care less! Lol! Saanjh still wants to know whether he's happy or not so that if he gives a green signal she can start her chipku act again .this time in the pretext that meri duffer khush nahi hai! But Maya ne usi waqt dusky ko red signal dikha ke entry mar di ..😆 Dusky's face seeing Maya was worth watching!

Samay's though seemed genuinely unfazed with the whole dusky duffer dosti dosti thingy that I got to think does he even care for her!

Anyways looking for Maya's sexy dance tomorrow & duffer surely getting irritated that his chipkuing with dusky after 3 long years will get interrupted!

I am just watching this for Maya nahi toh CVS Ka yeh dusky duffer crappy KKHH is getting really irritating!

That is difficult to decipher cuz of KTs acting but I feel he was supposed to look how he let go off his sakoonwala love for junnonwala love ! Heart broken I suppose

WORDDD !!!!👏 Precap where Arjun gets angry (??), irritated (??), jealous (??) ( like you said with KT you will always keep guessing) seeing Maya groove with the boys on stage, Saanjh actually found it appropriate to stop him from going to his wife and corner him for the all important question - '' Is everything fine in your marriage?'' ( Read- do I still have a chance? ) She was not even willing to introduce Samay...he had to step in when he realized he has to take control of the situation..that KKHH act was sooo badly done.. yeah we get it they had to show awkwardness but that was crap .. at one point Arjun looked like he is going to box her..and Saanjh? that half hopeful, half lovesick, half sad expression has become so off putting these days that I have to skip till the point Maya enters the frame.. Honestly I don't think he is going to get jealous or anything.. he looks way past that stage.. where there is no love, there is no jealousy.. only thing I am looking forward to in beyhadh these days is Maya Samay meeting scene..
