sorry i think both of u are looking at only 1 side of the coin. ArYa are both equally at fault. arjun is no damsel in distress who did not know what he was getting into. he thought he could have it all be flimsy and ditzy and wanting to use maya for money but thought he could control her coz she loved him and would forgive him for anything. did he know what he was getting into? hell no he just thought she was a little mad not full on unstable. and the reason for this is coz Maya manipulated and ultimately controlled every situation and made herself look like she was a certain type of person. like she was strong, independent, in control and this was not the truth. both of them are equally at fault and their relationship is based on lies that came from both of them. arjun got interested in the relationship for money and maya for security and love. maya"s intentions were not wrong bt rather her methods were wrong. Maya may have diminished capacity coz of her mental state bt how far is she responsible for actions we do not know. even Arjun how much was it love or money we do not know. what has lead to Maya being so controlling and showing arjun this side of her has not been shown, either have the killer/s been shown of the 2 murders until everything is shown we can speculate and wait and watch.Originally posted by: OriginalsFan

lovely post i also want a happy ending for her i loved flawed characters and no one gets as flawed as Maya. i think we as a society it has been ingrained in us when we think of a person being happy and complete we think babies, a partner, a home. for us seeing a person alone makes them an incomplete person and who does not have everything in life.
for me i want Maya to be happy the illusion that she was in the beginning of the show, her being independent and strong and relying on herself. i want that for her at the end. i want her to be truly fearless, independent and strong but more than that happy and content and now she can protect herself from any situation and does not need security from an outside source and she has it in her. i see the last scene of this show of maya in a mental hospital with a smile and looking content bt then that last scene is of a little smirk. and if that's the end it would show that she is not completely healed and that the ppl around her have failed to help her. at the moment she is at her core the craze, insecurity is there for everyone to see. if others dnt think she needs help then they have failed 1st it was her parents who did not help, then her husband, his stepmother who when she tried to be good pushed her over the edge. the best friends who did not know their limits and would even make a sane person mad. so for me i dnt want the typical ending. just a happy one BT beyhadh style ending.

I also want happy ending for Maya..at least descent ending. Dont want to see her in jail or in any rehab.'Beyhadh' team claims that it is a progressive show then they should show that there are treatment and counseling methods for mentally unstable people like Maya..not just potraying Maya as kala saaya or abshagun. It gives wrong message to our society where any kind of mental set backs are casually termed 'crazy'. I will be Happy if Maya gets level headed and independent without Arjun. Arjun has become Ashwin. He married Maya not for love only but also for money and luxuries.Somehow despite all the grey shades it feels very bad to see Maya in pain. Heart goes to her by observing what she went through from her childhood. At least she now deserves some happiness.
