Another loose end

So once again, the show leaves an un-clarified aspect and moves on swiftly, shining no light whatsoever upon a topic. Was Maya faking her pregnancy? Was she truly pregnant? We will not know anytime soon as the show is set to take a 3-year leap in the upcoming episode.
While this was a less obscure topic, there's still a lot that is uncertain and as I've said before, I hope in the future we get so see something that ties all loose ends together. I'd like to stick to my opinion of Maya never being pregnant in the first place, hence having faked her miscarriage as well. If she was truly pregnant, the CVs messed up a lot, a lot.

It's downright dumb how Arjun believes everything Maya tells him. Miscarriage? How certain can a person be? In several cases, the baby is saved and/or no harm is caused, you cannot just presume you lost your baby just because you fell! The fact that they didn't even visit a doctor for confirmation was strange as well. Then again, there were some scenes that highlighted Maya's genuine sorrow, but regardless, I think this pregnancy was faked as the last step to have Arjun all to herself, part of the masterplan - the Mayajaal.

I agree!
The writers have their head so up their asses that they believe they are creating a masterpiece
So many loose ends like
Murder of mauritius pandit
Murder of ashwin
Jhanvi getting pushed
And now the baby truth

Fine they want to build up suspense but at least clarify some points so that we can get an idea who too root for as of now they all come across as absolutely terrible people to me and I dont like watching shows were I have nobody to root for.

But I can see why the writers are stuck they show maya a murderer they will loose fans and that will end the show earlier than it was supposed to.

They should realise though that when they do the big reveal there may not be a lot of people left watching the show.

The finished this episode in a big hurry, just like that. Maybe bcoz they had a date fixed for the season 2 to start. Nothing seemed real to me, especially the miscarriage part.

Did Arjun marry Maya for money? Is Maya a murderer? Was Maya at Arjun's bachelor party? Was Maya pregnant? Who killed Ashwin? These are just few out of the trillion questions that have been left unanswered and the CVs would have better come up with a reasonable answer and explanation for all.
I too, have been very confused with the characters in the past 4-5 episodes, everyone seems to be changing colours faster than a chameleon and it's all muddled up together.

Yeah!! I am still not sure about her pregnancy.

I always thought she was faking her pregnancy and would ultimately fake a miscarriage and put the blame on Saanjh thereby breaking the AR-SA friendship permanently.

But then they showed that Maya never intended to break the Ar-Sa friendship till after the Hollika incident. If that is the case then she can't have intended to use the miscarriage to separate Saanjh before that day.

So then IF she did fake her pregnancy then
1. WHY?? What was she planning to do by faking it?
2. How was she planning to handle the issue a couple of months down the line when it would start becoming obvious that she was not pregnant?
3. When she was confessing and apologising for her other mistakes in front of God why din't she mention faking a pregnancy as one of the things she did in order to get Arjun.?

If she did not fake her pregnancy then
1. HOW did she became pregnant so soon?
2. Did she purposely fall and cause a miscarriage? ANd how did she know she lost the baby without a doctor checking her?
3. If the pregnancy, fall and the miscarriage were genuine then why din't Maya look more happy about the pregnancy and more devasted by the loss of it?

Either way there are so many gaps in logic with this whole pregnancy story line.

I really hope the CVs plan to anwser these questions in due course of time.

I'm not sure what the reason is for their abruptness, but it's certainly dumb unless it's meant to be so, in which case, the CVs have a lot of explaining to do.

I had said from day 1 that she was faking it.. I don't think she had planned the fake miscarriage though.. When Saanjh threatened to expose her she did it to turn Arjun against Saanjh.. I think Maya took advantage of the fact that Arjun is an actual duffer😆 so he easily believed that they lost the baby... If she had gone to the doctor her lies wud'v got exposed..

Maya's pregnancy is a minor unsolved matter compared to other things that have either been presumed or left unconcluded in the show.

The only moment when Maya would be her true self and express her genuine intentions, mistakes and upcoming devices was when she found herself before God, in her case, the statue of Ganesha. She did say she never intended on coming between Arjun and Saanjh until the after Hollika incident, and I would like to believe that as Maya would not lie to God.

Now, if she had faked her pregnancy, not with the intention of faking a miscarriage as well, the only reason I can think of, is to earn Vandana's acceptance. Vandana has been showed to be overjoyed by this news, and maybe that is what Maya initially had in mind before deciding to step in this ever-increasing bond of Arjun and Saanjh.

No matter what, there is a lot of things that don't come together, and we can only hope to find some answers in the future.

I believed so too, and although at certain moments I questioned this, I would still like to believe this is how it went down. It is quite possible that Maya didn't have that in mind and it was an improvised move, nonetheless, it would be a false miscarriage.
