@Delz a good point yes Maya comes to take Saanjh place in front of Ganesha. Arjun mocks her tears telling she is daughter of some big honcho. But Maya is a self made woman with an emotional void.

@meet mirchi thanks for telling that. You know how obstacles are removed, when Maya or perception is removed. As long as you are trapped in your perceptions you will not be liberated. Some post I had explained, Maya derives strength from Arjun. Arjun gives her strength is a perception, the real strength is within herself. Maya has to realize this. She can fight the battle, she has fought the battle. She has reached till here only fighting the battle. But she doesnt realize that inner strength.

@ajay I felt somewhere he loved Maya along with the incentives. But now I feel he only lusted her, her body and then incentives. Even now Arjun wants her body which he feels is his. That's why I said Maya has become powerless. She told VM Arjun has become hers. Look at what he is doing now and as long as Saanjh is there Maya is the prey and Arjun the hunter.

@isha the poor thing thought marriage with Arjun will change something for her. It was Jhanvi who directed Maya's feelings towards Arjun. She wanted her daughter to get married. As if marriage was the solution to Maya's problems. That day also I told Maya actually needs a mother, some therapy and not marriage. Jhanvi is that kind of mother who feels marriage is the panacea of any trouble that affects a woman. But it is a bane if it doesnt happen with the right person. You are better off single.

You're welcome!!

True, your preception fuels you or deflates you.. When we are talking about perceptions, here we have to deal with two perceptions (which are similar yet not so similar) 1 is Maya's perception of herself which has been fed by Ashwin.. 2 is the perception about Maya as seen by Vandana, Ashwin, Suman and to an extent Jhanvi herself...

Maya has the inner fire but she does not have self-belief, that self-belief requires an ignition - what will ignite the fire to blaze into a furnace?

@meet-mirchi that fire needs a proper direction, someone has to set the direction right for Maya, because if not she will burn herself and others, most importantly she will burn herself just like what happened yesterday when she doused the fire of Saanjh duppatta. And no one will be there for her.
She needs someone for her, someone to support her. Suman I dont think hate Maya that much. She is much more open and genuine. She has accepted Arjun's choice and she is the one who has come to accept the reality in a much better fashion, the way she advises Saanjh. I loved that from Suman. It was so sensible.

Shruthi,

In my reply to you in another thread, I mentioned that Prem will have to enter the battle ground to restore order...

Maya is self-destructive, she has been from day 1 but she is also a survivor, a self destructive person would not have survived the toxic upbringing she had.

Suman is sensible and open minded but she is not a powerful person. Prem and Vandana are powerful people, one whose support can boost you or deflate you.

if the cv's remember a scene, Arjun takes Maya to Vandana with the promise that she will get a mother that cares about her... if they are going to follow through on it... then there is a very high probability that Vandana will turn out to be Maya's strength.

Agree Suman doesnt have the power and Prem has. Prem has to enter, I read your other post. yes we are almost at half way mark and Saanjh power will ascend as there was a symbolism in Mauritius where Arjun-Maya dances and Saanjh comes in black dress and watches them. I had told them Saanjh the lone girl will be the destructive force of Arjun-Maya relation.
There is another thing Suman tells her daughter can go as much up as she wants as long as there is Prem to hold her back if she falls or mis steps or in other words, the chord of Saanjh climb is in Prem's hand, which he will pull once he sees his child is crossing the boundaries of sanity for a man called Arjun.

There was another dialogue of Suman wherein she says, I'll stay by the side of Sanjh even when she rises and falls in the path of love.. she does nt say when love batters her or jab pyar ke raaste pe tokkar khaane pade rather she says, jab meri beti pyar ke raaste pe gire toh bhi mein uski saath dungi...

I never thought it this way Shruthi di
For EHT I thought since it's based on West Bengal, where people worship Goddess Durga nd of course the Shakti symbolism is there... But for beyhadh is really thought it's because it's based on Mumbai😆

I just love the way Maya talks to Ganesha. That's stark different from the way Saanjh talks.

Maya talks as if He's her friend and the person with whom she can open up. It's very earnest and sweet. She doesn't ask for anything, but she confesses.. she expresses that what she's gonna do next (be it good or bad) and Ganesha has always been with her.

Saanjh talks in to a divine power, she asks for happiness, Arjun's or once even asked for Maya's happiness.
