Saanjh's love has always come across as obsessive! From the character sketch if you see saanjh this girl actually has no life besides arjun.

I think after arjun has confessed love to her in a drunken state this girl again has her hopes risen! Now after doing dirty dancing with Arjun in front of everyone she will come running to Maya to confront her...

Saanjh's love is nowhere coming as selfless! That girl is totes bonkers on arjun and we think Maya is the crazy one here 😆

Maya is far mature from that nut case who doesn't even have a life other than sticking around arjun & being all the time in sharma house as a watchman & also she has one other work I.e vandana aunty's pet

She is sad doing things to Ayan. She feels sorry for Ayan. Note the point here, she is the only one who is feeling sorry for Ayan.

For Vandana Ayan pales in front of Arjun, Ayan is a tool to get Arjun. She values the son who left her than the son who stood with her.
Arjun in his anger to VM ends up calling Ayan soutela. I loved the scene where Ayan lovingly looks at the bangle bought for the baby. He misses Arjun as he looks through the photos of Holi. But Arjun doesnt miss his kid brother a bit. Not even memories.

But Maya remembers him, and Ayan still calls her bhabi. I would say maybe they are not connected by blood, but Maya would have valued him more as a brother than Arjun ever had if VM had given Maya a chance to be in that house.

Same is the case with Suman. The only person who went and told sorry to Maya knowing her child is wrong. If Maya had got a mother like Suman maybe she would have been a much better individual.

It also shows the extend to which people can go to get what they want, the way VM and Saanjh are doing things.

I agree with some of things u said while I disagree with some. I would like to ask u question related to Ayan and maya. As u said, Maya would have valued Ayan more then arjun. So my question is why couldn't she ignore vandana for Ayan. Dont we do that in real lives? The day vandana brought gifts and Ayan also came. She could have ignored vandana and just paid attention to Ayan. But for her vandana was more important then her equation or fondness for Ayan.For her throwing vandana is more important then her relationship with Ayan. It was a choice she made then what's the point in feeling bad.

And also your comparisons about the first 'ring thrown away from saanjh'

And how hypocrisy level where she is okay with model beaten by arjun in starting episode but she is not okay when it is the case of ashwin for the sake of maya.

In hospital too she wasn't okay in praying for maya but on arjun force she did it & for his sake. The destiny she's thinking she has is arjun like u said exactly but it is definitely family & it's love that she has.

But in all this only obsession which she is having is arjun & in that madness she's forgetting what all the gud things she is blessed with.

She is gonna destroy her family peace which already lost bcoz of madness of arjun but still if she won't get into reality she will end up in making her family suffer.

I really.. really loved the depth u have gone into & analysed saanjh char.

Yes in Beyhadh line u said no char is clean. Everyone is grey in their own way.

Saanjh is not seen immediately and isn't straight forward in playing like maya but we all can see her greyness in her subtle ways.

Mainly the two characters are most irritating on show for me saanjh & VM and next adds the list is arjun but maya will tc of his behaviour effortlessly if this two ladies weren't a torture in their life.

@Laska to some extend I can forgive Ayan. Reason he is a teenager. He has been bought up in the way no matter in public you have to stand by your mother. You shouldnt insult your mother. If you see he takes slap from Vandana. He tries to put sense into her privately when he packs things and going to hostel. He does it in private. Actually for me Arjun should have spoken to Vandana in private, not in front of Maya. Yes VM will not move an inch, but generally sons speak to their wives or mothers in private so as not to make issue.

So if you consider ages Ayan looks much better for me than Arjun. If only he can be directed. As much Maya needs direction, Ayan is another character who can turn good if his emotions are given the right direction. Actually Ayan needs a father which he lost in a tender age. It is always said that when a boy is at 11-12 years the father should guide him to deal with society, just like a mother should deal with a teenage girl. If Maya's problem is lack of mother, Ayan's problem is lack of father where he ends up taking immature decisions though he wants good for everyone

@tanvi this is the fault with Maya also. Which I told in other post. I only felt sorry when Maya threw that bangle which Ayan had bought. I so very much wanted her to keep it. I wanted her love for Ayan to win over hatred for Vandana. But alas no. It didnt happen. Hatred outwitted love. I had also felt, if only Vandana could bless when Maya touched her feet. Afterall Maya was going to be a mother. How can you love the baby alone when you cannot bless the mother. You are a mother yourself. How do you think child will come without the mother. Question when will love will outwit hatred. When will Prem will outwit Vandana. It is a very interesting name given to Saanjh's father Prem or love. His extreme love for his daughter, her wellness, her better future and the action he takes for that decides the fate of the story.

@shruthiravi, he looks older than 20. He isn't 12, not a child. Well, if we talk about age, then Arjun also lost his father at an early age. He lost him with his mother, at 6 years old

At this point, Arjun and Ayan are the same

And it's not about whether Ayan can be forgiven, or not. But Ayan tries to please everyone - it does not happen like this. You are either on the side of Vandana, who hates Maya, or on the side of Maya, over which Vandana is bullied

Ayan chose the game "both our and yours". It's Maya can feel sorry for him, because he supposedly treated her well

But the support is bad, which is not in a difficult moment. It's about Ayan - he always left his brother, he would throw Maya too, and without hesitation. And Maya needs real support, real friendship, not regular illusions or crooked mirrors

In the case of Maya, yes, Arjun could talk to Vandana. But frankly the only thing he had to don't let Maya to engage in self-torture. In vain he listened to her and in vain listened further

And look, Ayan blames Arjun. I was just at a loss, is he serious? His mother, torture without interruption over Maya, to which he supposedly is well-treated, and he accuses Arjun? In what? Is that his mother's shameful behavior was open? He ashamed? What was it? To shift from a sick head to a healthy one, it's his family trait with Vandana? It was just frustrating. All his smart right words, all his justice ended at this moment

For Ayan was always blame Arjun, and now once again blame on Arjun. If necessary, it will be guilt Maya too

Ayan is not a child - he made a choice, go with it. But Ayan first refused his brother, and then misses him? And thinking before? It's just not fair to blame Arjun for this, when he doesn't break this relationship

Ayan can not be Maya's friend, a friend is known on the roof, when you are alone against Mom-Dads, against the whole world, with Ayan on the roof you can only know absolute loneliness

The only one who is to blame for this situation is Vandana. If this woman had at least a little less hatred, maybe in this body there would be at least a wee space for something human

As I always said Saanjh is the actual Obsessed one and Maya is fiercely Possessive one.

This distinction is made subtly from episode one. Especially how Saanjh used to cut pictures of ArYa from a freaking newspaper. She couldn't even bear their pics together for a second.

That's the thing guys...

Saanjh is the actual Obsessed one while Maya is fiercely Possessive one.

And Maya is Possessive of Arjun only because of Saanjh.

Even in the posters where Arya are together and Saanjh is at the side looking all worried. While Arjun is only looking smilingly at Maya and Maya is looking at Saanjh with insecure looks. Lol that poster summs up the whole show.
