And yes I do say Maya has a very bad fate, especially after being married to a guy like Arjun, and having a monster in the form of a MIL

To be honest, whether it is Evil Klaus or Damon Salvatore or Maya. Everyone globally loves wicked characters who have been denied of love in past and are broken. Klaus couldn't find anyone to love him in 1000 years of his survival and Maya couldn't find love in one life time. I love these characters whether and actually they all arent evil. They just wear this mask to make others fear them, all they need is love.
