[In this post I have expressed my personal feelings/opinions towards the show and its current track. In this specific thread I have decided to focus on the negative aspect of the show, doesn't signify I hate it by any means. Disagreeing is permitted, bashing isn't.]
What have they done to my favourite show? This isn't the Beyhadh I started watching. This Beyhadh has turned into a beacon of superstition - a show where Pandits, inauspicious symbols, horoscopes and (newest addition!) Tantriks are given way too much importance.
I admit, Beyhadh - the modern revolutionary show needed some traditional backward and not-so-open-minded aspects for the purpose of equilibrium, but isn't that why they introduced a character like Vandana?
I have a very important question for the directors and producers of the show: why the hell would you just change writers when the show was going incredibly well? The ArYa wedding was one of the most, if not the most awaited moment of the show and a swap in the creative team just before this desired moment is (with all due respect) STUPID. The wedding was highly disappointing and so have been the episodes that followed.
Apart from Saanjh's slight temporary sensibility, minimal ArYa and an increase in Ayaan's dialogues this week, everything is simply ridiculous. The plot (if there is one at all) doesn't make sense and Ashwin's murder mystery is being stretched a bit too much already, so God help me tolerate the upcoming week.
Also, who decided to introduce this full-of-grudge-inspector? Vandana was enough to tolerate, and now this newest addition to the cast is getting on my nerves and so is everything else.
Not to mention, all the main characters are suffering from major personalitt crisis. They are torn between two versions of themselves and keep switching from one aspect to another which adds on to the confusion and makes the characters hard to read.
The office which was amongst the main places where the show developed is now forgotten and left depending on a group of workers who once trembled at the sight of their boss and now an inexperienced photographer who happens to be the boss' husband.
My favourite character was/is Maya. But I must specify that my favourite character is Maya Mehrotra, not Maya Arjun Sharma (who is currently getting on my nerves too 😆).
I don't know who the killer is, I don't have theories. It could be anyone but I almost don't care anymore. I used to genuinely love Beyhadh, now it's almost like I'm forcing myself to love it. If they continue with what they're doing, it will ultimately result in the show's loss. I'm aware this post is offensive for many, and for that I apologise, but I was simply stating what were (according to me) facts.
