Yes, and it also creates an impact on the society in real lives too. If a person is mad, even the psychiatrists cannot help them. The mental hospital will be the only answer for them. Many people don't understand the difference between the two and think those who go to the psychiatrists are mad.

People shy away from society if they have any sort of emotional or mental disturbance in their life. Society shames them, and considers them a disgrace to society. It's a shame that society doesn't realize that they are the ones that worsen the persons condition...

She could have bpd/ptsd/depression or any other mental disorder, there's a few uses for anti-depressants.

Maya is mostly likely to have all three of the above mentioned together the way her life has been...its not unusual to have more than one mental disorder at the same time.

As of now, im mostly disgusted with how Saanjh is treating it rather than the show...i hope the shows goes beyond this simple mentality that suffering from a mental disorder means you're 'crazy' or cant live a fulfilling happy life. I'm mostly disgusted that someone like Saanjh thinks its okay to committ a crime by asking for Maya's medical records and then disclosing it to others without Maya's permission.

Maya is a human and should be allowe to disclose it when she feels comfortable enough and only if she wants to.

Its not a crime to be ill nor are you 'crazy' which is an ableist slur that i hate using.

I hope they don't show Maya to be evil but i feel like im expecting too much.
