On one hand we have Jhanvi in her delusional love have wrecked Maya, damaged her to a great extend. On the other hand we have Vandana who expects Saanjh to take the burden of her relationship.
Saanjh's father Prem was practical. It was fine for everyone concerned to keep some kind of a distance with each other till the emotions are settled across. It is better for Saanjh not to come across Arjun's family too often or keep on doing things there. She needs to be a friend only. Nothing more, nothing less. And she should be allowed to pursue her life, her career and maybe a marriage with an eligible groom all of which need Saanjh to have some solid distance from Arjun and his family to handle her emotions.
But no Vandana wants Saanjh. She wants Saanjh to come around. She wants Saanjh to see Arjun-Maya and Maya to feel insecure seeing Saanjh and decide to go after Saanjh. Vandana's so called beti pyaar is going to burn Saanjh, emotionally killing her once and for all.
But today's episode showed one thing, Ayan is going to be Saanjh's sheet anchor. In all the mess others have created finally he will hold her to stand up. To come out of the fire, ensuring goodness in her doesnt die.

Today's hug and Ayan's dialogue the man who loves you will be lucky and it is Arjun's loss not yours and the last part he become part of the hug of Mathur family shows Ayan is going to be that extended family member of Mathur family. Ayan told Saanjh is friend not sister, not bhabi so it is all open. Most importantly Ayan values Saanjh which Arjun doesnt.
Vandana will get her bahu, her son will choose the DIL she wants. Then Vandana will understand what Prem meant when he asked her to stay away from Saanjh
