Initially i thot itz sexual abuse, but now i think it wud b sumthn frivilous. If Mays was sexually abused, why wud her mum still care for dis man? I can't believe she is unaware of it. One thing is sure, d limp in his leg is coz of Maya.

I really hope CV's justify Maya's behavior.

i think there is an element to child sex abuse, maya never touch men and she dislikes when men touch her. even that episode where arjun held her hand she was shocked and went home touching her hand where arjun held it at.

Initially I felt like he actually did sexually abuse her but now I feel like he is just a do*che who tortured her because he hates her. 😕

Ya, I totally agree with one of the members who posted here that a lot of shows build up such great suspense and then in the end, it's some silly reasoning.

Mr. Mehrotra's behaviour towards Maya has been weird. Which father smears the cake on his son/daughter's face. It can happen between the spouses or friends. Plus he had also beaten her up for lodging a complaint at the police station. He might have tortured her physically, mentally, psychologically & emotionally. He had also come to her office which maya saw in her cctv footage & told the security guard to push him out. If he tortures her professionally & financially, I'm not going 2 be surprised. Being a married man, he is staying with another woman. How cheap!

Maya doesn't touch men? Ive never seen her touching women or being touched by women either. She is too sensitive to touch - doesn't like physical contact in general. She doesn't have friends and avoids social interaction all together.

I believe she has been though emotional and physical abuse, which in no way can be considered frivolous. That birthday party incident could have been because of the father getting drunk in the party and venting his frustration on his family followed by violent incidents and at last abandoning them for his Mistress on Maya's bday. This is certainly humiliating in front of friends in the party and the trauma because of the abuse that followed. There could be a back story about which we have no clue yet.

^He would be in jail and Maya's mother wouldn't treat him the way she does.

Will really applaud if the makers bring the child abuse issue. Even more important is to see how they will present it to Indian television that too in a daily soap. Eagerly waiting to see what happened with Maya..

Doubt they'll use that angle. That too for a 9PM show? More possible if it was in the 10.30 or 11 slot.

If they do, there'll be a wave of sympathy for the character from the audience (and deservedly so), but it'll make them overlook any Beyhadh stuff she does and may even end up feeling sorry for her if this story ends in SaJun.
