Hello I am Shruthi. This is my first post here. People would have seen me in DABH forum, EHT forum, Dahleez forum and currently active in SKR forum and will know my craze for symbolisms and shows which offer me scope for in depth analysis. I found Behadh intriguing with a strong concept and leads having such strong symbolic names. So this is my combined analysis of first 2 epi. Hope you enjoy it and expecting to make many new friends here and also meeting some old friends from other forums.
So we have 2 woman. One is Maya and as the name implies everything about her is an illusion. We can see how Arjun is making perceptions about her. First he says she is a lucky girl. She is enjoying on her father's money. Saanjh sees Maya crying. But Arjun dismisses it. For him the rich people will have some flimsy grievances. But we see the truth. Maya first of all have a scarred past. She is a working woman, running a company not enjoying on father's money. Also her relation with her father is troubled. Arjun tells Maya cannot be afraid of anyone, but we see Maya shivering in front of her dad. The woman who makes every employee of her frightened of her, cannot stand a second in front of her father and needs the shield of her mother.
The other is Saanjh. The twilight. The time between day and night. She exists but like you notice Maya you don't notice her, just like we don't notice twilight or Sandhya much. It is always about day and night , never about twilight.
Maya the illusion is treated as reality, while Twilight the reality is treated as illusion.
Same is the case that is going to happen with Arjun also. In his need for his big dreams he will be drawn considerably towards Maya the illusion feeling she can give him all he wants ignoring Sanjh with her little dreams who has been giving him support all these days. Because Maya has an aura, aura that binds you. It is that way always with illusion. It attracts you in such a way that you cannot escape its bindings. But Saanjh, saanjh or twilight always wants you to notice it, acknowledge its existence which you rarely do unless you absolutely need that time between day and night.
Arjun's camera sees the real Maya from distance, but the eyes of Arjun is unable to see her. We see Maya's dupatta falling in Arjun's eyes while he is driving and the driving goes haphazard. It will be like that for Arjun's life. With Maya's influence he will go in such a way in life that it will be a dangerous ride which will include Saanjh too. And it will be Saanjh who will come to protect him before disaster as we see Saanjh taking the duppatta from his eyes. Saanjh will open his eyes towards reality.
For me it is going to be a interesting ride. How the perception will finally break for Arjun. When his eyes will see what the eyes of his camera saw. Only issue for me is TRP janta. Anything novel TRP game has ensured it goes back to mundane. Heard this is a nine month show. Hope CVs can do justice to it and Channel will allow them to do justice to it.
