Agree with you on this totally. Maya bonding with Nandini and Myra are much deeper than Rajeev and vice versa. Rajeev has not just revealed Maya's truth before MJ but Myra her self went and stood before MJ as Maya to hide Maya's identity.

Rajeev has given Maya's company shares , I bet Myra would never do that even if she is dying.

@TM when Myra died and Rudra was happy about it, she wanted to kill him, so even though we saw very less of Myra, we know she cared for her enough to want her to stay away from the plot. Coming to Rajeev, hitting him with the bottle was part of her own plan to trap MJ and Rajeev played along there, when he was abducted by MJs goons even though she seemed busy with Rudra she was actually planning to get him rescued and out of danger, which she did with Rudra’s help.

Coming to why she loves Rudra more than Rajeev and her mom, how can you even ask that? He’s her husband and they are a couple, their attraction towards each other was quite evident from the initial episodes even though they at odds against one another. Are you going to ask a lady over why she loves her husband more than her mother or best friend? Love between spouses is different compared to love for your parents, siblings or best friends.

And here they are in the honeymoon phase, which is normal for any newly married couple, if they don’t shower love on one another and care about each other then what are they supposed to do?

Coming to your question about why Rajeev and her mother’s love didn’t change her the way Rudra did, well here’s the thing, the very kind of love or relationship that changed Maya from a bright cheerful woman to a wounded heartbroken soul was the one with MJ, when he cheated her, abused and destroyed her it changed her entire belief system about love, that the romantic kind of love, but when Rudra entered her life or she entered his, she discovered that true love indeed exists and cherishes the fact that she found and received it, she wants to become a person worthy of deserving that love which she obviously can’t if she keeps herself preoccupied with hatred towards some low life 24x7. So yes that’s why Rudra’s love changed her and not Rajeev’s because he cannot heal the wounds that she has suffered at MJs hands.

I just wanted to correct you that Maya didn’t hit Rajeev’s head in anger, it was her plan to enrage Rudra against MJ...she wasn’t hurting him at all!!

Why not Rudra... I would think...who else but Rudra would also be more apt.... Rudra himself has similarities with Maya... he is also a loner, he knows the feeling of losing someone dear, betrayal, the need to be self sufficient...

Maya character has always been shown as extremes; so when she decides she loves someone, she simply does... I would assume.

Read every reply but most are not even touching the original topic, Why Rudra changed Maya isn't as simplistic as Maya getting attracted to a man, this isn't a normal relationship. What is there in Rudra which makes someone like Maya Jaisingh love him?

Rudra loving Maya is very understandable, he is not broken or scorned like Maya, he is very much normal and had normal relationships with people around him, Maya's past has ruined this for her, Rudra always had that normalcy which comes from being surrounded by loved ones like his mother, his brother, his friend and other people in his family. He had a bad break up but that doesn't mean he is broken like Maya, he got out of it pretty easily and didn't even love that woman, Maya's story is not only one bad break up, she was betrayed and beaten by someone she loved, she lost everything she held dear.

Rudra's love is everything normal. Maya is hot, Rudra saw a side of her which held onto him for protection, he knows that there's a girl behind this tough exterior who needs to be protected from the world, he wants to be her protector

I don't see why Maya would love Rudra, how easy it is for someone to fall in love with son of a man who was going to be father of her child? Maya was to give birth to Rudra's half brother. What has Rudra done which other people in Maya's life didn't do?

Rudra was dying to save her? Myra died to to save Maya, to give her a new happy life with Rudra but Maya didn't even care enough to take Myra to hospital or give her the funeral she deserved for protecting Maya, she put her revenge above someone who died for her but Rudra doing the same changed her?

@SSS MJ was not hitting Rajeev to get shares, he wanted to know if there's someone else who has invested in Ruan, Rajeev gave MJ the shares to protect Maya's identity, if he had died, MJ would have reached Maya, he didn't have a condition, he planned it to protect Maya.

There are people in Maya's life who have done so much for her but their love and sacrifice didn't change her.

By change I mean fighting against MJ, what triggered Maya to fight against MJ, to defeat her fear was MJ unintentionally hurting Rudra knowing the fact that she is in the house because MJ loves Rudra, if MJ did not care about Rudra, she and Rudra both would have been out of the house or dead by now 🤦‍♀️ Rudra is not prime Minister of India and definitely not more powerful than MJ, his strength is that he is MJ's only weakness

Again, Why Rudra? What has he done for Maya which other people in her life did not? How is he different apart from the fact that he can sleep with her and others can't?

I agree with the last paragraph and thanks for writing this, I was going round and round, this one gives a good reason for Maya to love Rudra to this extreme.

Nandini said that Rudra looks like MJ, maybe that's what Maya sees in Rudra, an MJ with a heart, ethics, Rudra is what she wanted MJ to be 10 years ago, she also asked him why didn't he meet her years ago.

exactly, i don't know what big rudra had done that maya is so freaking in love with him. Rudra fell in love with honest, daring and smart maya. He doesn't know the truth. The day he will find out about mj-maya and her relationship with rishi, he will leave her. Tab yeh shidat wala pyaar bhi kam nhi ane wala. bs badi badi baatein, pyaar khokla hai inka. 🐷 No doubt, mayra have great chemistry but people should not have high hopes with them because at the end rudra will leave maya. I like maya-mj tashan more than mayra romance. 😎
