I fear none is discussing the original post, it was created with a purpose to discuss why Maya went rogue over MJ unintentionally hurting Rudra but didn't react when Rajeev was beaten by MJ.

What's there in Rudra which makes Maya love him so much when Rajeev has shown much more trust and support towards Maya?

If Rajeev was a a straight man who could have sex and lovey dovey scenes with Maya, do you think her reaction would have been same?

Do Indian dramas only care for carnal love and ignore strong platonic trust and loyalty based relationships?

Maya was extremely caring about her mother too.. Ananya just pushed Maya's mother and Maya gone nuts.. she was extremely scared too. It's cause of her emotional state . She has lost everything in her life so she was extremely scared that she will lose her mother too so she is being extremely protective.

So here it's not just about having sex. Not just about having romantic feelings for Rudra and having platonic bond for others so triggerd more in Rudra's case.

And she cares for Rajeev too in recent episodes after they bonded well.. but it may not be to an extant like he mother and partner and it's totally understandable for me at least..

Ananya is a weakling, Maya always stood up against weaklings, I am talking about Maya letting go of her PTSD and standing up against MJ. Last week MJ attacked 3 people in Maya's life, Rajeev was the one who suffered the most but what triggered Maya, the turning point in this show, was MJ unintentionally hurting Rudra. How can we compare Ananya with MJ? Maya was never afraid of Ananya, didn't you see how Maya went numb whilst MJ was cutting her hair? Maya did not let Ananya touch her

I think Maya reactions when her Mom was at risky situations became a bit inconsistent by makers.. but she was being extremely protective about her mother's too.. it was almost similar like how she reacts at her extremes when Rudra is hurt too

Why Rudra's love matters? Why Rajeev's unconditional support means nothing in front of Rudra's conditional love? Does Rudra love real Maya? He loves Maya who is pure and prestine, Maya fears that her truth will take him away from her, how is this even love?

Who is real Maya? Real Maya was pure and prestine only.

She lost herself after traumatic past .

Maya has a feeling that they meant for each other but met at wrong time.its not just a fear that he leaves her it's also that she herself knows that she doesn't deserve him..It's a kind of fear that they couldn't live together after the truth of her killing Rishi is out. Not that she is planning her entire life with him.. she is just trying to live her life forgetting the damage she did as Maya Jay Sing..Rajeevs unconditional support?.. will he support her if it's his brother?.. there is a lot of difference.

Mj threaten her also give time to save rajeev if she went to save him her mom life ll be danger so here to save both Maya smartly handle him than just showing her anger on mj but I feel even before Rudra get hurt she was faced mj in Dining table without any fear had breakfast sitting beside with him

MJ had beaten Rajeev so he gives shares of Maya's company to MJ..

Rudra doesn't know swimming still he goes into swimming pool just to collect those papers written by her...Rudra was ready to die while dying too he was wishing for her happiness.

No it's not just cause of lovey dovey scenes or physical attraction which she had for Rudra but also cause of this difference in upto what extant Rudra and Rajeev could go to support her is what makes difference in her reactions for them too..

Well I got it.So it's why for Rudra she feels extremes and why not for Rajeev.

Simple answer it's cause of the same reason why Rudra can go to his extremes while protecting her like he just doesn't care about his own life unlike Rajeev who only can support her upto certain extant but not to extremes. She also cares for Rajeev and protects him upto an extant but doesn't go her extremes.

This sounds so conditional now lol. But of course since it been being questioned about what probable could be Maya's reasons I am just stating.

What love is there when Maya can't share her past with Rudra? How is love without trust? What will be there when Rudra gets to know that his wife killed his baby brother?

This is beside the point, if you read my post I already mentioned that Rajeev and Maya are not a romantic pair but love is there, platonic relationship based on trust and loyalty, where Rajeev didn't tell MJ about Rudra's investor Maya when MJ was beating him to the pulp, when Maya got to know that Rajeev named shares to MJ under pressure to safeguard her identity, she hit him with a bottle

Rajeev has been very loyal to her, he knows everything about her, he doesn't run away from the real Maya which Maya expects Rudra to do when he gets to know about Rishi

If love can change Maya then why Rudra's love, only because Rudra and Maya can have sex doesn't make it a better kind of relationship when someone like Rajeev is there in Maya's life

Rudra is not a broken human being, he is perfectly normal

Comparing Rudra and Rajeev for accepting Maya killing Rishi is totally unfair.

Maya's present is her love for Rudra.. Her past effects their future which she is aware too that simply doesnt mean ther is no love in present .

Rajeev and nandini are already present in maya's life when the show started they love her support her but they didnot give her the hope which she got from rudra she always feel that this darkness is her destiny the only thing which is left in her life is revenge from mj. Then in rishikesh she realized that it is impossible for her to run away from rudra so she accept his love she got a new hope ,new life in which there is possibility of life. If u remember she thanked infront of lord Krishna to gave her rudra's love as she think it is right for her.

Maya already think that rudra's love is her strength but she clearly has a monologue that nandini is her weakness and it's good to hide your weaknesses from your enemy . Maya already tried her best to face mj like she tried to be normal in the party despite of all hair cutting and dress tearing thing she is break down in the bathroom than when mj show him the video after that she just went to rudra only. Basically mj never hurt nandini just bring her to house and warned maya but he actually hurt rudra first emotionally before party than physically during valentine's celebration. As for rajeev I don't think that maya loved him too deeply like she love nandini and myra forget about rudra but she actually cares for him as her brother

I think this reason of Sex is not definitely the reason why she feels extreem for Rudra but not for Rajeev..

She still is not ready to have sex with Rudra. She still is adjusting herself for him so it's obvious that physical attraction is not the base of their relationship. In starting episodes Maya even felt indifferent to Rudra's touch .. With time being she got used to his touch since she started to trust him but even after claiming her beyhadh love she is yet to be ready for being physically intimate with him.
