Honestly after a long long time such a character has come on TV or movies

Rudra is not bothered about his life

Rudra is not bothered that he has left ananya at altar alone

Rudra is not even bothered that his parents have lost their son Rishi just a few weeks back and that they may lose their only son living if he dies

All Rudra is bothered is to save Maya from darkness

I mean can say a crazy character exist in 2020 anywhere in world

Whose not bothered about his family his parents his life too only about Maya whom he met may be 3 months before

In these times where boys in college have 10 girl friends this guy is acting crazy in love

Its good to see a human like Rudra exists in world if only on screen

But truly Maya is not that woman who deserves such a great lover and human

Rudra may not be knowing what all Maya is but whatever he has known of her is not an illusion either. Rudra felt connected with Maya's pain and it's not an illusion. Rudra and Maya's Emotional quotient is almost same and that is what it connects them.

Maya running away from the city might have been her plan but Maya running away from Rudra on the bridge from Rudra when he was claiming her as his life was the Truth. Rudra has fallen for her plan and came to her and also Rudra has fallen for the fact of Maya running away from his love when they were having real moments together on the bridge and so he followed her further.

Rudra has always had that nature of feeling very deeply for people he has connected for. He was so very deeply attached to his father that just one incident has made him hate his father for 10yrs. He is not feeling obsessed for a woman for lust just after few days of his brother's death to see it as wrong, he is acting obsessed emotionally for a woman who herself has similarities pain inside her and has been running behind her when he felt he will loose her , this all happening just after few days of his brother's death is looks like so possible. Like he after Rishi's death felt the guilt of not being able to protect his loved one he couldn't take the chance of it one more time, for Maya . He after Rishi's death felt how hard it is to loose your loved ones so he couldn't take chance of loosing Maya.

When one has very passionate feeling for something, it's so hard to die. Life will find its way. Rudra may not be knowing swimming but the new found passion in him wants him to live and love. So he survived.

I agree with all your points. After all yeh maya ka mayajaal hai. This Maya is as twisted as the whole B2 story. Now, I am actually more keen on seeing MJ X Maya war. In this war, the person who holds each other's secrets will have an upper hand so Maya and MJ are going to unleash each other's secrets one by one. And I don't believe Rudra is a saint either.
