Oh I know there isn't any, but by using past season scenes, they are doing exactly that.

I'm at home today so got to the episode earlier today.

Brotherly fun - What fun. Rudra's teasing was hilarious, but Rishi upped it with his drama queen acting. That was the best until Rudra decided to make Rishi his girlfriend. I've got to say, I'm going to hate when Maya breaks these brothers apart. Such sweet love and she's going to drive a wedge between them. But before this fun, I wonder who Rudra was remembering. Was it Maya or someone else who broke his heart? Is that why he keeps his distance from Ananya and Maya?

Maya's and Rudra's flashback - Both seemed to have the same flashback. That can't be a coincidence. While Rudra's flashback didn't really show a face, we caught a brief glimpse of a face in Maya's flashback and it didn't appear to be MJ or Rudra.

The ajeeb family - Which isn't, but with the taunts flying back and forth in the guise of comedy, this family is truly weird. Rather than separate, they decide to live together and make each other's lives miserable. But it's like Antara said during the party - what will society think? That's the problem with being a public family. If you separate, people notice and then start talking. Isn't that why Antara is still with MJ despite whatever he must have done to anger Rudra? Isn't that why Rishi is always trying to keep Rudra and MJ together even in personal family moments?

The fish humiliation - This humiliation wasn't for Rudra, but for MJ. For Rudra, it was just another challenge to prove himself to Maya, MJ, and more than that to himself. To Maya because he turns around each challenge and makes it about Maya. Look at the way he turned around the 3 days and instead of making it about his 3 days, he makes it about Maya's 3 days. To MJ because MJ wants to control his son's lives and Rudra will never go to his own father. And finally to himself because these 3 days will change him and he needs to be able to realize how strong and intelligent he is. This is possibly the most important of the three because right now Rudra feels he can take on anything and everything, but these 3 days will lead him to his breaking point and, at the same time, make him stronger. They will also bring Maya and Rudra closer.

Rudra's style of selling the fish was quite clever and foreshadowing. The fishie tried to trap the fish and kill him, but fell into her own trap and fell in love. Then the fishie got into danger and the fish tried to save her, but both died. Foreshadowing for what will happen between Maya (fishie) and Rudra (fish). Nonetheless, a comic story. It even stopped Maya in her tracks for a few seconds.

Now let's move over to MJ. MJ wants to know more about this investor/author, but I'm so glad that Ananya chose friendship over him. That's why he tried to find out a different way, but a bit too late as the humiliation happened because Rudra wasn't just introduced as himself, but with MJ's name attached to him. And what Rudra took in stride, MJ took as severe humiliation to the point where him and Rudra had a battle over it. While MJ reminded him that his name is attached to Rudra, Rudra wants to move on over that name. But is that really possible? Until and unless Rudra overtakes his father, it won't be easy to become your own person.

The dirt that Maya splashed on Rudra just annoyed him, but it was the philosophical dirt that Maya has begun to splash on MJ. It was only a small move, hence the dirt blobs were few. As Maya continues, the dirt will cover Rudra and humiliate MJ even more. This was Maya's first win. But MJ is not one to back down so easily. He's clever and he knows that someone is making Rudra do all this. This for MJ is more important. Someone is manipulating Rudra and humiliating MJ in turn. He wants to control Rudra, but he also wants to quash the person who dared to think that they could control Rudra and destroy MJ through Rudra.

Rishi, the financial downfall of MJ - While, on one hand, Rudra will bring the overall downfall of MJ from his ego to his arrogance to his controlling behaviour, Rishi will be the financial downfall of MJ. He's already started. A 5 lakh bracelet for a girl he barely knows? Rishi reminds me Yuvraj from Rakht Sambandh. Yuvraj was willing to give anything and everything to have Sandhya (in her disguise) in his life so that he would appear normal to the world. It was only when he gave half his property that he realized who Sandhya really was - too late for all that property to come back. Rishi will be the same way. He will give away everything in a bid to get Maya and he will even go against MJ to do that. He's already started lying to MJ for Maya, what will be next?

But MJ won't let it go so easily. He will find out about Maya somehow or the other. The question is has Maya planned for this? If not, how will this affect her plan? And how soon will MJ find out about Maya?

Precap - I don't usually comment on precaps as a rule because they are often misleading, but it appears that Monday Rudra's challenge will be to beat Maya to the top of this building for his challenge. Maya's fall is preplanned as well. Maybe to test what type of person Rudra is. And he runs to save Maya despite hating her. Tells you what type of person he is. He can hate someone, but not enough to want them dead. Anyways, more on the episode on Monday.

1. The fake bookshelves - I understand that they want to make both Maya and MJ appear well-read and match their personalities. But yesterday and today, one thing that was offputting was the fake bookshelves. It was quite clear that the books behind MJ and earlier behind Maya are fake - so perfectly in line, all colour coded, and no depth in the bookshelves. If you want to make them appear well-read, then the bookshelves need to appear more realistic.

This episode was indeed great because it gave us so much, but left us asking for more as well.

Rudra doesn't share his pain with his brother, but that's probably because his brother wouldn't understand. Rishi is still quite childish and even though both are close, he wouldn't understand and he might end up sharing it with Rishi.

Rishi is about materiality, while Rudra is about personality. Rishi thinks love is about material goods and that's probably because of the way he was raised. MJ and Antara probably didn't have enough time to spend with Rishi and would throw money at him. Rudra, on the other hand, was probably raised closely and that's why he is more about personality.

It shows Rishi's impulsiveness that for him Maya is already his to-be wife. He has mistaken infatuation for love and now can't see anyone apart from Maya. MJ is a very controlling father. I'm surprised he's so close to Rishi despite his controlling nature. But then he probably keeps it hidden.

The sari bit was quite hilarious, but I don't think it's love just yet. Rudra is hallucinating because he has been spending so much time with Maya and since he met her, she's been on his mind. Even when he was hating her, she was on his mind.

Rudra only cared about the fish smell. The moment Maya reminded him that he would be finished, he even got over the smell. For him, nothing is beneath him. Look at how easily he brushed aside the fish selling getting on the news. Even before MJ spoke, he was like "it's my decision and stop making it such a big deal" on the phone.

That's why I don't want to comment on precaps because it is hard to tell. Some places it's easy to tell. Like if this was BB and they showed someone being evicted in precap, it is obviously fake. Or if it was a saas bahu show and they showed the bahu being kicked out of the house, obviously true. But in shows like this, where you have to think about the show and nothing is as it seems, it's hard to tell what's real and what isn't.

I think MJ is beoynd livid. Not only is he unable to control Rudra, Rudra is happy being in someone esle's control. As for Rishi, sach mein ladka ghar bech dega ek dinn 😆 maya's maya is playing well, considering Rishi never lied to his father. On the other hand Rudra, he earned some money today but with that he earned his self confidence. I have never seen someone so happy selling fishes, but for Rudra anything that makes him feel accomplished even the smallest thing is worth cherishing. He is such a sweetheart in that manner. MJ simply cant take that, Rudra being happy and independent is his worst nightmare (just like Maya in Marathi sari is Rudras nightmare 🤣)

I'm not usually for couples much, but this seems to be a natural progression in the story. And it'll be an interesting one because of all the Roys, Rudra is the only one with the capability to help Maya forgive and feel again.

It'll be interesting to see what she'll do in her beyhadh nafrat this time and how far it'll be justified. Not only that, but how much pain she'll have to take to get to the end.

I’m usually big on couples (usually try to live voraciously through them when everything around me is upsetting so yeah they are like my coping mechanisms but don’t worry not a fanatic) I think Rudra would be able to center her down the line. He also challenges her mind and keep her on her toes. I think he’d make her feel again first.

She’d burn.. either figuratively or literally but she will.

Brotherly fun- This scene established so many things in an uncomplicated way. The fact that Rudra is extremely protective of Rishi and tries to ground him by gently teaching him values and reminding him that money shouldn’t buy love. Rishi is spoilt to a point that he believes an expensive gift is all that would take to win Maya over swiftly and for him that’s all that matters at the end of the day.

Maya's and Rudra's flashback- I really think their flashbacks aren’t linked at all and the makers are just using it as clickbait.

The ajeeb family- Dysfunctional rich family, ready to tear the other person down to shreds and the only thing that stops them is the civility of the society. The “family” should paint a picture of cheeriness, no matter what, is the bane of their existence.

The fish humiliation- Three days. A battle has been staged meticulously and the field has been leveled by Rudra by twisting the challenge on its head and Maya had to begrudgingly admit that he’s smarter than she thought.

OOOH the symbolism and foreshadowing galore! Fish and fishy... bring it on my fishes. I’ve been waiting for something spicy!! ☺️

The humiliation also showed how unaffected and detached Rudra actually is from the whole “image” thing. Followed by that showdown, he doesn’t want to be related to his father in any capacity whatsoever.

He is confident.. to a point which is considered arrogant as he really believes that materialistic things are all that would take to make a “woman” fall for him. Uhm okay so my guess is she’d have the brothers right where she wants them (maybe with Rudra there might be a softening of heart involved but she’d try to trample that nagging feeling) and then go out with all guns blazing to destroy the people who have wronged her at her own pace.

The ajeeb family - Everyone have some problem with each other only Rishi is good in all these. And everyone wants to show they're a happy family irrespective the class IMO. And there, it's a respectable family so they are bound to show off.

I liked how he gave back word to word. They're so challenging.We're seeing a different shade of Rudra as well every day. I think he owned the challenge much to Maya's surprise. She only wanted the news to spread & crush MJ's ego.

@red - If you ask me, all these flashbacks are bits and pieces of S1. Maybe they are related, maybe not. But one thing is clear. Rudra's reason to hate Mrityunjay is not just him being a sleazebag. This could be personal as well - aiming towards a love story gone wrong. Similar to Maya. Rudra and Maya are similar yet so different.

@blue - Precaps are always misleading. But Maya's fall from that makeshift elevator - somehow reminds me of an incident shown in an initial promo, wherein the flashback Maya is falling. Is that her way to test Rudra's junoon or is it genuinely her falling?
