We join Veera sitting at her vanity putting on her bangles and gazing l at her reflection in the mirror and having warm flashbacks about a certain unshaven young man (Vedant). She glows remembering the moments when her sis brings her a yellow dupatta from him, she met him and he covered her with her dupatta, saved her from the gang of hoodlums by beating them up, then later helping her find out the real attacker's identity and driving Krishna to the station on his motorcycle. She thinks to herself what a mistake she made judging him so harshly in the beginning, that she once hated the sight of him but he came through for her and for her sisters. That he is a nice person. This warm opinion prompts her to touch the reflection of him in the mirror glass and she then comes back to reality.
Later Veera is walking on the road and she runs into Vedant on his motorcycle and they have a really nice moment. She tries to tell Vedant that she was wrong about him, what a great person he is, and when she can't finish her thoughts Vedant does it for her. (They are so meant for each other)
The sisters, mother, bua, cousin and brother are on the roof, the mother and bua are making sweets and the kids are working on their colorful kites and flying them in the sky, a fun family moment, the Paraya Dhan theme song is playing in the background and Chand and Nirvaan both have kites in the air, Nirvaan's kite seems to be going higher than anyone else's, making him happy. Then Chand drops the spool for her kite and Krishna picks it up for her. (This could also be deemed symbolic, that whenever Chand's esteem falls to the ground, sister Krishna helps lift her up again.) In the meantime, Jati bua still stinging from her insult from the other day, tries to avenge it by offering Chand a ladoo and then taking it back and taunting her. Chand is visibly upset by her behavior. Later, Nilkant comes to the roof and admires the preparations. Jati bua springs her plan into motion, and, knowing full well that Chand loves Parth, tells brother Nilkant that he should find a suitable boy for Chand. That Chand is just like a daughter to her, she looks so happy today and that she wants her to be happy forever, to ensure this Chand should settle down. Then bua says she knows someone from a good family, well off etc, and that Nilkant will like him. Nilkant agrees to this, and Chand and Krishna exchange sad looks. Krishna objects to this suggestion, and is silenced by Nilkant, who tells Bua that she is right.
Downstairs, the mother goes to Chand and Krishna and reassures Chand not to worry, that she will speak to the father about the matter, and not to think about it any further. Chand feels that the most beautiful relationship a girl could have in her life has been taken away from her, what's the point. After speaking with the girls, the mother goes to Nilkant and takes him to task for agreeing to fix Chand's marriage. Then Nilkant says, I am her father and I want what's best for her etc, she can see the boy, if she likes him fine, if she doesn't, she doesn't need to marry him. then the mother objects, saying if she doesn't want to marry, why does she have to see anyone? Nilkant feels that Krishna's marriage to Veer has been ruined for obvious reasons, and now this with Chand, something has to be done.
Krishna later rebukes Jati bua for planting the idea of marriage in Nilkant's head, what is her problem? And then bua makes a sad face, saying that Chand is her niece and she only wants the best for her but whatever she does, they are going to think the worst of her (bua). What a pretentious jerk.
What will happen next to Krishna and Parth? Will Chand be forced to marry or won't she? And how will the smitten Veera get together with suitor Vedant? Stay tuned....
