how come this show has low trp.?

I saw many people in other forums complain that bepannaah is nothing but a regular love story. It has nothing special. That's why it garnered good trp only in the first week . And that inspite of having good leads, the trps are not picking up

But basically all the serials have a normal love story with drama element.there is no show without a love story. maybe they need an extended family where in each member has their own set of problems

First if all indian audience are blind, dumb and deaf towards good content...secondly the show which is supposed to start by 10.30 starts only by 10.45 and major part of the episode comes after 11 pm which means we are competing nazar..now you cannot compete with dayans and naagins in India...a show should have a proper timing...trp audience are NOT die hard fans who will keep waiting for a show to start for another 15 minutes...🤢

I am Indian living in US and have watched British and American drama. This show is almost if not at those level of drama. Why? Because and only because of story no unnecessary gimmicks adding or subtracting characters for no rhyme or reason. They are sticking to the premise of the show which is the affair and death of poosh. Indian audience especially tv have no patience for logic and reason and that's why ekta rules the roost. I have never seen sky's shows for this every reason they have no story or logic.
Plus the production quality the cinematography is amazing! It's visually so not the typical Hindi tv serial types. I always liked web series like permanent roommates, pitchers where story is a character in itself and I see bepannah having that same vibe. I hope and pray that such shows do well or ITV is gone to the dogs.

Harshad Chopda and Jennifer Winget are competing with elements from cartoon network, monster house, wizards and witches. Its better they bring Harry Potter at 10.30, 10.45 or whenever they wish to telecast. For that matter a story of love with a simple mystery element wont do good infront of characters who are incarnations of the devil himself. Unfortunately Zoya amd Adi are human beings.

In the first place, even when it comes to human beings, they potrayed leads to be flawed characters, mistakes shouldnt not happen, trp aunties cannot accept this. This soap has a story in place, they show parallels , human nature, emotions, circumstances pertaining to each charachter. Even Rajveer has a reason as to why he became like this.

Bouncing fixed stories from one slot to another is like loosing the thread of the conversation. The 10.30 slot and a wedding which was out of context, a blackmailer who is totally new and ekta kapooe types again sent viewers away, they shld have got apurva in the montage. Some .2 or .3 quit due to religious beliefs.

Colors are trying their best to capture those viewers who like to watch content like Naagin or Nazar, i they will stay awake even after 12 if their type of shows are on air. However for simple love story and a fsmily who has no frills, no drama or arent having their own subplots within the main plot, there are no takers.

I wonder all those fans who adore Jenshad and immediately like any insta post , shower all their love on the spoilers , i wonder where they are from

Do they actually watch Bepannaah or simply comment and like

i honestly don't know what trp audience want or which people include in trp audience? bcoz people around me doesn't watch a single show which is in top 10.we keep speculating every week that this went wrong or that didn't work but if a show like bepanah is not pleasing trp audience then we should stop blaming tracks or cvs bcoz so called trp audience don't deserve a show like bepanah.otherwise in making attempts to please trp audience we will loose aur show.

I remember coming across a clip from one of the interviews of Shakti Arora in which he in a very fun manner said that the only way in which you can garner trp in Indian show is by completely eliminating logic..the moment logic and rationality are out of the window, the trp audience visits. Just now correct was he?

There are lot of factors.

One, the time slot change which the channel did in it's greed for topmost position. It underestimated Roop and Bepannaah and overestimated Bigg Boss. If Bepannaah could compete with the Bhagyas and Rishtas and still achieve decent trps, it would have still got decent trps by competing with kbc too because the post marriage tracks are awesome. The trps would have been closer to 2 if it was in 9.30. Secondly, the delayed start is also affecting the trps. The channel failed to understand that BP's regular viewers mostly of the age group 18-30 who have to wake up early in the morning to go to schools, colleges and offices. Even if they want, they can't stay late in the night during the weekdays to watch the show.

Secondly, Arshad track ruined the whole show so much so that people completely lost trust in it so some amount of blame should fall on the cvs too.

This show's story is actually meant for people above 40 because it has deep meanings, parallels and strong characterizations but unfortunately people above 40 love keeping their brains inside the freezer before switching on their tv sets and these people will never give chance to shows like Bepannaah.

I really hope atleast next week the trps increase.

Though I completely hate his show but I totally agree with him.

Any Indian show which has excessive drama and zero logic has high trp. I also agree with ERA none of the people around me watches any of those top ten shows. All of them are either running for eternity or has zero logic. And the sad part is now a days most of the indian tv shows are bringing in supernatural touch after seeing nagin/nazar's success. That day I was watching some clips of AAP ke aa jaane see, which is btw BP's slot competitor and has higher trp than BP, and they were showing chudail and black magic🤣whereas the show was supposed to be about a younger guy falling for an older woman, they could have done so much with that plot but nevermind.

Whenever the trp day comes and we get a low trp we start finding faults in BP, like it was too dragging, Zoya only cried, adi was violent, AdiYa were fighting and thus the trp was low but my question is doesn't these things exist in all the other shows as well?? That too the top 15 ones!! So how can we say that for those reasons the trp is low??

No those are not the reasons for which the trp is low those are the reasons for which the trp is not high!!

If the arshad track would have dragged for centuries

If Adi was regressive man who likes to throw woman from one side to another

If it was a family drama with bari ma, bari papa, chacha,Mami,khala

If Anjana was a dayan

Then the trps would have been very high😊

That day I was watching a video on YouTube which talked about Indian shows that were super amazing but had very low trps and the list included mahi way, p.o.w etc and then I realized that actually audience doesn't like shows which doesn't have Ott drama or logic. And even though silsila is a disgusting show we can't deny the fact that it does happen in real life, yudkbh is another gem show with absolutely no trp.

So in a way I am glad that BP has low trp because if having high trpmeans being a show like those high trp shows then no thank you I am super duper Happy with these show.
