9 PM is a VERY competitive time slot, all the popular shows air at this time and the main reason is that 9 PM is the time when most people stay up and watch TV. The majority of TV audiences in India prefer to watch shows at 9 PM. Although Bepannaah's TRP had begun to drop, it was still in a safe zone in the 9 PM slot as more people were willing to stay up at this time. Now if we take an audience that chose to watch TV at 9 PM and expect them to shift to 10:30 PM aren't we expecting an unrealistic reality?
The main age group target of our show is the youth. This age group is already stressing on their studys as the majority is in college. This age group cannot afford to stay up so late as they have school to go to the next day. The only possible way to get a good amount of this group to be willing to stay up until 11 PM is to air something so captivating that they feel helpless and have no choice but to stay up and watch the show. Right now, the only captivating thing that has been shown recently in the show is yesterday's episode. Other than that, what person from this age group would find interest in a nani plotting to get revenge from a family through the bahu? It is obvious that watching the show online would be the most convenient for this audience as they can catch up on the show at their own time instead of having to stay up late. To sum up what I said, I feel that the time slot and current track are the main thing to be blamed for our diminishing TRPs, but to bring in an optimistic POV, I feel that once Rajveer will enter and Zoya will tell Aditya about the BM, the TRPs will begin to rise again as there is a lot of speculation behind Rajveer's motive for hating the Hoodas and the audience want Adiya to solve the mystery together. 😊
P.S. Sorry for the long post, please forgive me for making you read so much 😆
