My post was regarding whether BP might be shut down if it doesn't get the TRPs. Some viewers say that BP is above TRPs. You gotta be kidding me. 🤣

BPs fate is governed majorly by TRPs. It does depend on online audience but the effect is negligible.

Sorry to butt in but I used to be a fan of Sriti because of her literature posts and quirky personality (plus she was the whole reason I came across Mr. Chopda 😉 ) and I'm ashamed to say I thought that was good acting 😆 !! Looking at JenShad has made me truly realize what acting really is. All the other shows I've watched before had such mediocre actors that JenShad feels surreal

Colors released 3 new shows promos.

Not the fourth but third time they changed the timings. They don't air it during the correct time. They have been doing this blunder since the 9.00 pm slot. So audience must have lost patience. They removed the mystery element from the show & Arshad track shooed away the audience. Despite that BP did well it garnered trps of 2.7, 2.2 in the 9 slot. In the 9.30 it was consistent with 1.8 - 1.9 trps. Probably the last 4 weeks of the 9.30 slot trps went down badly due to Asia cup and KBC with trps ranging from 1.2-1.4 trps. I think we are really unlucky the marriage track would have garnered 2.0 trp if it was at the 9.30 slot but BP is unlucky it was it's first week at 10.30 during the marriage track and new set of audience and the trps dwindled. I don't understand one thing how did the trps dwindle from 1.8 to 1.0 within a span of 2 weeks? I still feel there's something terribly wrong with the trp system.

@harsha I am traveling.still thought of answering this particular point. How do I justify marriage in a friend reception. I don't. That's why I told skeltal script. By that i meant adiya would have had a public wedding. Even if they did in temple it would have a priest and zosh employees which was my prediction which would have been ideal. Here I guess the channel intervened and made that public wedding grand but didn't connect with audience except the wedding episode because BP audience feel every emotion. So public wedding is kept intact as per skeletal script but scene changed.there are many points like that which I don't have time to explain. Second have u practiced data analysis. Specilization is one thing. Practicing it in real life another. My analysis is based on practice in real life. And as a practioner I did it out of curiosity because the promotion surprised me as a data analyst. But unlike ur linear comparison I went into quite a lot of parameters because that's how it happens in real. Especially if we have to take a negative decision every single aspect little little things are put into consideration before taking a call. I have sat through several such meetings where we have given insights on why a project should continue despite on the surface we see loss. Past data,future possibility every little thing plays. Not just ROI. I can't put all the details here but can tell only this much once again. Money is coming and there is scope for future money of show gets logical closure. SM is the medium of tomorrow as it is growing and carving its space. A space channels can ignore at their own peril.

One thing i am absolutely sure about is that BP as of now at least is not a loss for the channel...as sruthi mentioned above the show is earning money because even from business point of view without a break even no project can survive beyond a point...no loss making project will be continued by a channel for more than 6 months...ladoo 2, belan bahu and many shows have wrapped by 6 months because channel was not getting anything...and there was one show swabhiman which had 2 plus rating at 9.30 still was wrapped in 8 months...so only channel knows which way they are profiting...

Everybody drooling over jenshad putting up post and all is a promotion for the show nothing more or beyond that..so fans need to chill...bt yeah this has worked for bp fans n everyone is happy to see...bt don't get carried away in off screen..they r just fulfilling their professional duty...n yeah that hmm comment was for caption I guess..😊n nothing more to it...they promoted at start of show too n now too simple as that...n yeah nowadays social media is as important as anything else so promotion is important in sm as well as on air promos😊

Swabhiman is one strange case and also Rang Rasiya and beintehaa. Really don't know how Colours tabulate their decisions.

TRP it's really important for any show for any channel.. and we are offered highly payed coffee or machines or anything and if the promotion from SM it's really the last try from the channel then hope for best for next week TRP..

for me I don't like a long running shows and drag one beyhadh had 273+ episodes I watched still the end its ok for me even BP run that number or at least 300 episodes.

ps : see I was a fan of ipkknd crazy type and I watched the show still the end that was my first crazy love show when the ml want to quit all buz in SM n called to end the show if a fans can end the show just coz they don't want any other ml in.. why can't fans love can make a show run few aur months too.. now a days SM fans really matters as TRP

TRP do matter for show & channel. but when u compare with another channel sony how they were serving. there highest TRP is 1.2 i guess. KBC is having good trp. colors first time gaining huge popularity in sm. overseas. too.PH must be very careful after EHT. may be they are having an agreement the show shuld run due course. coz channel like sony they have hardly have shows which crossed 200 epi. they will plug if tge shows very easily. due to low trp so many rumours shiw us going off air talks still beyhad aired. jenny is the maim source for beyhad.
