In my eyes Zoya and Aditya are more spiritual than religious people tbh. From a millennial perspective, religion's focus has shifted to spirituality. Many of my South Asian colleagues don't focus much on religion, they pray but not ritual by ritual. Have seen many interreligious marriages where both ceremonies were performed.

I think Zoya and Aditya would really classify as agnostic rather than anything else but that's a whole other debate and I'm going to shut up before someone reports me lol

Those fans are blaming as if bp is a religious show😕if they had shown zoya as an orthodox muslim then their bashing is valid but zoya is not a orthodox girl. Bp rarely celebrates festival! So far they have shown oly 3 celebrations nd one is going on now. So what is the big deal i dnt knw!! Infact navratri is the 1st scenario where adi prayed as per his own religion! They hav never shown adi willingly praying anywhere except in church.still some fans are jumping as if zoya was tortured to follow the rituals😆

I know a lot of hindu's who fast during ramzan...it is only appreciated and taken in good note...then why zoya taking one karvachauth is a big issue...people are truley blinded by religion...anyway the segment in out i guess...twitter is filled with the Adiya Wink 😳

I really think that's the beauty of a marriage in which there are two different cultures and/or religions!
There's double the celebrations, double the festivals, and so much to learn from each other!
My parents had an inter-caste marriage (mom is Bengali, dad is from UP) and I feel so lucky that I got to experience both cultures. I can't imagine what AdiYa's kids would feel like!!!

Karwachauth is really more in honor of your husband than god honestly. The fast is to pray for your husbands longevity. ( I think it's kind of sexist but whatever 😆 AdiYa make it cute)

Hi5,i feel the same too when people bash her.. Maybe coz I absolutely adore jenny . Agreed ,zoya is not a well written character at times ,but still she is such an adorable girl on the show!! Why bash her on religious grounds. .Yest I saw people bashing her coz she is gonna sign the divorce papers ,I was like can they understand under what circumstances she is doing that. It would kill her to do such a thing. .

Guyzz this karvachauth is a promo shoot as it is shown in sbd segmemt. Also devil nani trapped zoya to make her sogn divorce papers in dushera mela. It has also shown HH was happily celebrating karvachauth with anjana while zoya gave angry look to aditya amd went from there and aditya also went from there being angry
