Why we crave for romantic scenes so much?

First of all, let me admit that I, too, am guilty of being a sucker for romantic scenes 😳😆😉 After yesterday's mind boggling episode & equally epic precap 😆😆 I decided that best way to handle d googly thrown at us by cvs is by going through detailed analyses & reactions put up by fd & the great fd that the show has, it never disappoints in trolling it's own show in the most hilarious way possible 😆😆 Perks of being fan of a show enjoyed by sensible & intelligent audience 👏
Now coming back to topic, one common & justified complain that we have from cvs is that we are not getting enoug h romantic scenes of AdiYa as we get to see in other shows. That got me thinking why we crave for such scenes so much? Why consumation scenes become such a big deal in our shows? When I look back to d serials on doordarshan in earlier days during my childhood the shows were far more progressive in concept but most of d romantic scenes were implied barring a few. Same goes with pakistani shows... be it Zindagi gulzar hai or any other show... The romance is not shown by physical proximity as such.. (Correct me if I'm wrong) even then these shows r considered to be iconic & r loved for their romantic flair. So why this craving for intimate scenes in our shows ? Why we r not happy with hand holds, romantic conversations anymore? (In our show cvs r not even showing that 😡)
P.S. Just a random thought for discussion

When I watched the show's initial promos before it started, what attracted me was the concept alongwith the chemistry of Harshad and Jenny. Like me, many got attracted due to the fresh pair and hot chemistry of these 2.
We all waited patiently for AdiYa love story to start, tolerated the most idiotic Paak rishta track and torturous Arshad track. Before the end of Arshad track, we saw 2 full weeks of rona dhona and emotional episodes. After these episodes, all we wanted was to see at least a week or 2 of romantic light hearted scenes between AdiYa to enjoy and be entertained, now that they're married.

My main complain is the cvs dragged Arshad track by showing too many filler episodes and bored the viewers to death. What was the need for then to jump to the next track which is even more intense than the previous track? We all deserve a break in between to understand and accept the next intense track which we didn't get. If this blackmailer track would have started next week then at least our minds would have been refreshed.

Secondly, Bepannaah viewers are not the Doordarshan era viewers. 😆 The Doordarshan era viewers are probably busy watching Naagins and Bhagyas. We have got 2 good looking individuals with sizzling chemistry as leads. We are not ready to get satisfied by watching them standing 3 feet away from each other and talking and then leaving the room or doing teenagers wala romance. I don't want to see consummation but I definitely want to see them doing passionate hugs, forehead and neck kisses.

All I want to see is a balance of romance and suspense. It's high time the cvs utilize the beautiful chemistry of the leads which they're not doing even after 6 months. Let them introduce as many new characters as they want but they should give most importance to AdiYa. The reason the trps are falling are also because viewers are not able to enjoy the show because Jenshad chemistry is not being utilized by the cvs for reasons best known to them.

For me its like reading a book..unless we read every.minute details we dnt feel the scinerio...in bepannaah..when after watching the whole show...later on when we remember the show ..it will be with a pictorial representation..our mind will have pictures of all the scenes which have touched our heart and which told the great story of aditya and zoya..and consummation is also verymuch a part of the story which tells the leads have begun their life as a normal husband and wife..and it doesnt need to be censorboard disapproving kind even..just some.mild stuffs intimacy lights something which gives us a picture to remember when we play bepannaahs story on our mind..we dont want this great show to have any flaw at all..and this one is a major part of the story..as it represents the change in equation between the major characters..

We as fans of Bepannah crave for romantic scenes because the two actors playing the central characters are Good Looking and have a Great Chemistry.
Yes even I love to see them romancing, romance that is aesthetic. The fact is the scenes between them comes out so beautifully that makes them the most beautiful couple on ITV...making us crave for steamy romance. 😳
The makers can inject one or two romantic scenes in every episodes.

I am a 90's kid n I watched some amazing DD shows during rerun. When these were originally aired I was too small to comprehend the story but when I caught the rerun during my 11th and 12th (thanks to cable being cut) I fell in love with them. They were far more progressive n even though we had more intimate scenes in those than we have now, it wasn't romanticised. They felt real n the storyline made up for the lack of glamour and dreamy romance. I had made a long post in the initial days of BP on this. In early 2000's we saw an era of romantic shows like kzk, kutumb, kth n kyph among many others which made romance larger than life n I guess we got greedy to see more. The reason for this according to me (purely my opinion here 😳) is the underlying family drama which was repetitive and unrealistic. We needed something to compensate that n we got it in the form of sizzling chemistry between the leads. Show jitna bhi kharabh tha we became suckers for romance 😆 n I was no different either. Then one day I ended up watching a pak show Humsafar that starred Mahira and Fawad n I was completely blown over. These two changed my perception of chemistry. There was no such thing as physical proximity. Hell there wasn't even a hugging scene in that show n concept toh itna cliched tha u would have seen it in almost all the shows till now. But the beauty was execution n the subtlety between the lead couple. I was amazed that something could feel so poignant n beautiful. However that never became a benchmark for me to compare it with other shows bcoz even I knew ITV is not capable of something like this. So y even expect that n get disappointed? Rather try to be happy with what u get 🤣

Coming to BP, I was drawn to the concept of the show. Two people loose their partners in the same accident n on the same day they discover their partners had been cheating on them. While one vehemently believes his wife cheated on him, the other is firmly convinced that her husband can never cheat on her. So we saw a clash of ideologies on a different ground altogether which made this unique. Add to that, we could see a spark between the leads in the first promo itself. I had never consistently watched a HC show. So I didn have any expectations from him but I fell in love with him after watching the first episode itself ❤️ n I had loved Jenny as an actor from a long time. So I didn need any more reasons to watch this show. I do admit I enjoy the romantic scenes but it's not a mandate for me. If the storyline makes up for its absence I am more than happy coz that's what I look for. At this point in BP things don't seem to be making sense. I am disappointed with this week's track but I want to reserve my judgement till later when the mystery unfolds. I guess the only reason people are complaining about it is bcoz the storyline isn't progressing as expected n on top of it, we are being denied AdiYa chemistry too which is the USP of this show 😆

Agree on all points regarding d show. Most of us here signed up for d show intrigued by d fresh pair of Jenny & Harshad. We all have waited so much for Adiya's moments but alas cv's r real sadist here.
As for doordarshan era viewers being touted as fans of naagin & bhagya shows then I have to say they get to watch more romantic sequences than us going by fans account as I have not seen any of these series barring a few episodes of naagin 1 😆

U spoke my mind dear 👏😳 Thank you for articulating it so well. Even I didn't understand d dd serials when I first watched them. It was much later when I caught reruns of several serials that I managed to truly appreciate d beauty of those series. Here in d show, I just fail to understand why they r not utilizing d chemistry that their leads have. Just why? 😡

Yes agree on this !! We do tend to remember these moments more, moments that touch our heart. I remember I started watching KZK 1 much later even when my friends were crazy about it. I started watching it after mr. Bajaj's entry. I didn't follow it religiously but d moment that stayed with me was Prerna crying over Prem's death, Aparna stabbing Anurag & Prem- Prerna confrontation somehow I don't remember much of Anurag-Prerna moments. I rather remember romantic moments from Kavyanjali, NBT, Madhubala, Rangrasiya & Shyam-Sugna scenes in BV. So sometimes some scenes just click with us & stay there in our mind forever
