What is our relation

Friday episode was one such episode where a new perspective emerge whenever I see it again. And to be honest I have been seeing it in loops whenever I get time. So one of the most important question of the episode was what is our relation.zoya ask this question when wasim throws her out also. Now why this question. Zoya had spent the night with aditya in the same room atleast three times if I am not wrong. Riot night,mujhe teek karownight and jungle track. On all these occasions she didn't ask what is our relation. But on Friday she asks. Here emerge another contrast between zoya and pooja. On all the three nights before her relation with aditya was that of a friendly business partner. The guy with all his tantrums,sarcasm and angry outbursts helping her one way or other. Neither he nor she had any such expressed strong feelings about each other. So in front of the world she was sure to defend her position. But not that night. That night she was with a man who had confessed his love for her and because of her love for him she had stopped her marriage on wedding day. Now to be with such a man she needs a relation. Love is not enough for her. Especially when he has left her family for her. For pooja prem ki barsaat was enough to roam with yash have relation with him and get pregnant too. Not zoya. Yes she is a woman of independent thoughts. But she has her principles. Hence she is asking him again and again what is our relation. Aditya understands her concern and go for proposal. We need to know one thing. Though it was a private proposal it was not entirely private. Not just because kids interrupt but aditya goes and introduces zoya to a lady and tells I made all this arrangement for this girl. It shows his conviction to flaunt their relation publicly. The woman he loves and now his fiancee. For zoya that ring means the engaged status. People might ask what is in a symbol. But for adiya symbol matters. And the reason the marriage will happen also because of the same concern of zoya. She will not stay with aditya just like that without a relation. His house was different as his parents were there who would have addressed the society for their son and would be dil. But not in any other place. Pooja had roamed places with yash wearing the ms adi had given her in a way fooling people. Zoya won't do that. She loves adi,but she needs name for the relation. And adi knows it too. They would have never proposed in zosh or married in zosh. Because that place started a most unholy relationship in the name of love. A sacred relation like that of adiya cannot be completed there in secrecy. It is for world to see. They can go to zosh after becoming hus wife of they have no other place to stay. But not before marriage. Poosh affair was behind doors,adiya relation will be out in the world. Hence such an open wedding for them. Now coming to adiya kiss. See that kiss in the first place was never meant to be intense or passionate. It was just supposed to be a soft sublime peck. To be frank it was the expression of all of aditya's pent up emotions. He had wanted to be close to her for long. But he had kept his emotions in check. That rain incident night all his emotions came out. Since then one way or other he had wanted to be close to her. In his dream dance tera hone laga hoon he attempts to kiss her. Then farak padta hai unknowingly he goes close to her. Then he was forced to suppress his feelings during chana mareya and then because of all drama by wasim and anjana. When she accepted the proposal he just wanted to express his happiness with a soft kiss. She was hesitant but absolutely feminine when she allowed him that closeness. She knew the mess he had gone through for her. That moment he wanted some happiness with her and he wanted her to be happy too. Hence it was gentle and as she moves closer she too is into the moment. The intimacy didn't come to her in one day. Every time since his confession in her mind she is experiencing increased intimacy with him. In chana mareya she touches his forehead with her maang tikka. Hence it is not surprising she feels at ease after initial hesitation. It was that after so much tension they both wanted to express their love for a moment.and zoya does complete it by kissing the ring and looking at aditya with a blush. And believe me I loved the femininity in her which is something rare to be seen in itv.

Shurthi I had just explained today in a post why Zoya wanted to know their rishta. You have said it in much more detail and nicely. For Aditya if you notice it doesn't matter what the society labels them as. He said at the door to his mother that I don't care what people will say. But when it comes to Zoya for her it does matter to be rightly called for who she is. At this point in our harsh society she has already faced a round of character assassination by Kuku Aunty and her friends. Aditya would be spared of those accusations but Zoya who was abandoned by her father and now living with a man who is in love with her will raise questions as to who this man is to her. Aditya who had made a tamasha during pooja's Last rituals not caring what the society will think of him now naturally bends his own morals and gives her a name so no one can question their rishta.

Also adding to the kiss part, Zoya too craved his closeness when she rested her face in his palm during mang tika scene. For me that has been one of the most passionate one post leap!

I also mentioned it somewhere in the forum that kiss was not some raw intense moment but an emotional moment for both of them to finally find the sukoon their heart's craved for almost a year after. They just wanted to express their happiness through close proximity and wasn't angling for flirting or physical aspects of it. I loved that scene so much because if you see their journey from the starting suddenly getting all physical and hot wouldn't have touched our hearts the way that scene actually did. It is just the starting and we will see the physical proximity too but right now they have so many broken parts to heal and that requires emotional proximity more that physical.Totally my take and everyone is watching with different lenses.

@adhira zoya will make aditya society friendly. It is not that aditya doesn't have principles or morals. But he doesn't show them off. He didn't touch her as a lover till he put the ring. In any private space irrespective of their declared love he would have maintained that mode of conduct. Zoya is just ensuring that goodness of him comes to limelight pushing other aspects. Actually if u see that lorry crashed their black car and aditya is pushed against a white car. So with her his goodness will shine through as his bad attributes will slowly be weeded out. Ya I did miss the maang tikka scene. She wanted his closeness.
