In the car Zoya asks Aditya to go back home without her for a few days. But when he asks her what about you? She stays quite. Yash use to always listen to Zoya, he use to never argue back, he use to do things according to Zoya. But this time around Aditya argues back with her. He puts up his own point against her's. I guess last time too Zoya herself must have asked Yash to go back to his mother after their marriage and yash obliged without a fight. Whereas Aditya said something very important. He said if I go back today my mother will never accept you. That's right. That's what happened with yash and madhu. Anjana won't accept because her respect for zoya will remain low. She will always think that her son can leave his wife in a heartbeat for her.
Now Zoya has the same dilemma, the same fear of society which Aditya had at the terrace after his realization. Zoya has similar questions about the name of their relationship due to their ex partners. It was pooja who helped Adi back then with his dilemma and I'm so glad it wasn't yash who made Zoya understand but Aditya himself. He became the friend zoya always needed in her life.
The proposal was a beauty! Usually when I'm watching a show or movie I get bored with long proposal speech but this time I was listening to each line quite attentively :)
Before zoya enters the area they show Harsh Hooda looking at his watch and asking anjana its 12 in the night. Yes 12 means the messy day is over, a new time has begun for adiya as Aditya takes his relationship a step further.
When Zoya enters she says itna andhera hai, it's dark but right then the lights go on. Aditya had always entered her life as the light wrapped in darkness. Zoya looks on at the path of candles lit and Aditya holds her hand to walk through it. This is their love which is aag ka dariya where Aditya will hold her hand and they will through it together.
Aditya confessed today that in the most lowest and dark period of his, only thing which made sense was Zoya. To have someone going through the exact thing that he was, gave him a weird sukoon, a comfort. To know that he wasn't burning in this fire alone he had someone with him helped him from burning down to ashes completely. He couldn't make sense of it back then but now he knows why he felt that comfort in her proximity. I loved how they covered what he felt without Zoya in Paris as well! Pooja's words, only words which made sense from the diary came true today. Aditya is ready to go to any extent for his bepannah love.
Now Zoya, what can I say. She says if I ever get separated from you I will die. That's a big line. Pooja had the audacity to walk away from the man she claimed to love and die holding another man's hand. Zoya says if it's not his hand then she will die as her heart only has him. She even jokes with Aditya about kuch kuch hota hai in a loving way whereas pooja use to dismiss it with irritation because it ruined their romantic moment. But Zoya mixes a sizzling romance with a bit of friendship from kuch kuch hota hai :)
He didn't give her a diamond ring like a normal guy! He gave her an emerald ring. I had mentioned in my haldi episode post as well that green is suggestive of peace and new beginning. I found out today that emerald also represents eternity. So Aditya has slipped his emerald ring for the new beginning of an eternity that made Zoya realize her love for him.
The kiss! The moment was so well done by Jenshad that I actually got lost again and got startled even when I knew the kids are going to come lol. The scene was quite realistic, it showcases again that they are mature enough and will directly go for a kiss like real adults! I loved how Zoya knew before Adi came close what his intentions were. He gave her a look and her smile dropped because she knew what that look was. Rest is history! Jenny's reaction here was amazing!! Very few actress can pull such subtle romance.
Harsh-Zoya, Roshnaq-Aditya. Today it felt as though Zoya lost a father and gained one in harsh and Aditya had lost a mother long back and gained one in roshnaq. Zoya finally gets a father figure who respects her choice.
Aditya-zoya's feet where zoomed in when they walked out. Zoya crossed her dehleez for Aditya on her engagement day which put a dent in her reputation as a woman. Aditya today crossed his own dehleez to return back zoya's respect.
Waseem. The moment I saw his scene Shurthi and my conversation came to my mind. I knew day before when they showed the mirror breaking with his face in the pieces of it, there will be many faces behind waseem. Now even I'm sure waseem had a hand in yash's doomed state. He said on the phone like the last time we did. So he has tried this before. Last time he had patience to do it slowly but this time he doesn't. He wants a quick fix even if it means hurting his daughter in the process. Waseem use to purposely put Yash in a situation where he had to ask for help. This made waseem feel superior, it satisfied his hunger for pride. I was surprised yesterday too when waseem had told roshnaq that Zoya is dead for the family. Throwing your child out is one thing but calling them dead is no decent parent's anger.
Another thing, waseem says I had supported Zoya last time I can do it this time too. But what he doesn't realize is that he wasn't successful last time. He thought after yash died Zoya would return home like he is thinking time too. She didn't. Zoya even though waseem tried his best did not return home, she went to Mumbai where her manzil was. This time of if he tries to take away zoya's manzil she will go with him. The way she screamed and ran to hug aditya showed if aditya is destroyed, Zoya too will go with him.
Waseem doesn't know aditya is a smart man backed with a even smarter father and a psychotic mother. Let the games begin!!
PS- this might sound crazy but I'm happy the game is equally heavy on both sides with Anjana and Waseem as players! Now it will be fun or else one sided it would have been boring with Adi always trying save to Zoya ;) If this is not content then I don't know what is 😆
