A big applause to the writers for writing some really awesome lines for Aditya today.
Back when Zoya was given Yash's divorce papers, she had covered her head with her old marriage dupatta right before committing suicide. She had looked into the mirror dejected while her dupatta slipped away. Her self-respect and trust as a woman destroyed.
Today she looks into the exact same mirror and yet again another marriage dupatta slips, her self confidence about to slip away but this time her friend doesn't let it slip. Aditya covers her head with his own hands giving back her lost reputation because of Yash. Aditya, on the other hand, got to prove Sakshi-Pooja today that he can be selfless in his relationship. Remember he had told Zoya once that if pooja had told me about yash I would have let her go even if it broke my heart into pieces. His words came true today. He was called irresponsible yet today he did not leave his work unfinished. Aditya's line pyaar aur dosti dono har jata proves that if he didn't come both his friendship and love would have looked selfish.
The walk from zoya's room to nikkah looked like a walk down memory lane. It was as if they were saying their alvida to last phase of their lives to make way for the next phase of their lives. When they come down to nikkah everyone's taunting gaze and ameena's words doesn't make them leave each other's hand. Because for them they are not doing anything to be ashamed of.
Precap- yet again her dupatta doesn't let him leave. But he doesn't walk away causing the dupatta to fall off her head. He comes back to give her respect back.
The episode was shown beautifully with some phenomenal acting by both Harshad and Jennifer. Specially the scene where her dupatta gets stuck and they are staring at each other.
But the makers kind of disappointed me in regards to Zoya. Yes it was nice to see her having flashbacks of the time aditya was trying to confess and she feels guilty that she did not understand him. But this only shows Aditya was never wrong, it doesn't really put much depth to zoya's feelings. Yes her trust was never broken is shown but how does she feel about it except guilt? Why didn't the maker back those flashbacks with few lines. Or even when aditya came as a friend to her they could have shown her breaking down and sharing her fear of marriage with him, said sorry to him and told her reasons for this marriage. Instead of such a long chana mereya which was of course beautiful. To be honest at this point I don't see bepanah love from zoya's side, I just see her realising that arshad is not the right choice for her and aditya was right all along. She was never ready for marriage only because of Aditya she took the decision in haste and now it's too late for her to step back. She is burdened by her own commitment.
Looks like we are heading into another marriage where one has more love than friendship and another has more friendship than love but this time around they won't run away like Poosh they will work on their marriage and eventually balance friendship and love.
Anyway that was the only complain from an otherwise good episode. Hopefully I'm proven wrong next week and Zoya gets few lines to express her mental state. I'm a little tired trying to guess what she is thinking.
