Why is Arshad not good for Zoya?

Keep aside the fact that we all love AdiYa Jodi and we all want AdiYa to end up together.

But for a second, let's think is Arshad really not good for Zoya? If so then why?

Arshad is a well established doctor, belongs to a well to do and sharif izzatdar family and is also a nice guy. So far, he is not shown as a negative character.

On top of that, he loves Zoya. Yes, he does love her because no one will accept a gal's proposal after getting rejected by her twice and even after getting slapped and insulted in front of lot of people. He has put his ego aside for Zoya.

So why can't he be good for Zoya? Why can't Zoya be unhappy with this guy after marriage? Why can't she fall in love with him after marriage?

I agree she loves Aditya but then lot of people forget their love after marriage with someone else. They attached to their spouses and forget their love. It all depends upon Arshad to make her fall in love with him and he is ready to do that.

I also agree both are different as chalk and cheese but that doesn't mean both can't be happy with each other. Many people with different nature, different thoughts and ideals also live happily with each other by understanding each other.

So why is Arshad not good for Zoya? This thought was coming into my mind earlier too but today after listening to Adi's dialogues that even Zoya has got the right to be loved, I finally decided to make this topic.

P.S.- Everyone, please put aside ur AdiYa fangirling chashmah and give ur views on this. 😊

P.S.- Cvs, if u r reading this, don't even think about Arshad Zoya marriage after reading my post otherwise 😈

In my opinion, he doesn't know the real Zoya.

She's actually carefree, not the sort to be tied down, in fact Arshad is the exact opposite. He has duties, his work has demands and to top it off, she is needy. All of which Arshad lacks.

He's a mediocre character, nothing exciting about him.

She's from Mussoorie, outdoor life is where she belongs. Aditya can take her places, she can travel to wherever, she loves nature. He's carefree like her. Their souls compliment each other, they are made for each other. Aditya has a raw spark, he lives life on the edge, he's honest, she's honest.

Arshad is a good guy, not a great guy.

Not sure anything makes sense :)

Subha di, this is my personal opinion.

Arshad would not really be able to understand a woman like Zoya

He gives me creepy vibes. Like koi itna acha kaise ho sakta hai.

I am always wary of people like this. Mere kiye, I feel he's acting so nice. He has literally got no faults. A perfect man. And perfection does not exist.

And more than that, its like he does not understand a no.

Even previously before his entry, he kept on calling Zoya, but she did not pick up the phone. At that point of time, he should have understood that she was not interested. But no, he still came, treated Zoya like a princess and did not try to understand how was she feeling.

Actually the same thought crossed my mind too -

Realistically what can go wrong with Zoya-Arshad - assuming that Arshad is as good as he seems. Adi's reasoning today that she deserves to be loved and that she's making a mistake and all ..while it sounds all sexy and passionate and intense ..quite frankly doesn't make much sense ..

if Arshad had a history of cheating on a past relationship, or if there was some basis on which Aditya was saying all that ..then it would have made super sense ..perhaps adi dug up some dirt on him but Zoya was too blind to see that as something against Arshad ..then it made sense ..

but given what it is ..other than the fact that zoya - Arshad both don't look compatible and whatnot ..it seems like they are both adults who will make their marriage work, show faith and could eventually fall in love!! ..the families are cordial ..

I hope the marriage doesn't happen of course ..then I wouldn't even watch ..but I also don't want to see Aditya obsess so much over this and quietly listen to Waseem ..he has said what he has to ..now it's for Zoya to make a call!

IMO he doesn't deserve Zoya because he's not actually in love with her. Which man will say he feels an eternal connection with a girl he has only known in 2 days? 😳 agar aisa Mard hai asli zindagi mein mujhe batana moi bohot confused hai is baat se 😆 on top of that he seems like a person who won't take no for an answer. When Zoya opened up to him that she has no intention to marry or is not ready for love because of fears why didn't he end the matter there and then. What was the need to go to that janmasthami festival with his parents.

guess he'll do the honors by backing out of the marriage ultimately :)) after seeing Adi's dedication toward Zoya ..and sensing somewhat what Zoya is going through ..I think he'll be the one to call the wedding off at the last moment ..

Adi's love is visually one sided. But he sees in her that naivity which no Arshad ever will. Like she always says, Aditya gets her like no one else.

They've built up that bond, that honesty, that trust. Adi has nothing to prove to her, not really. He's been married before but saw it as friends in love. He didn't know what love actually felt like until Zoya entered his life with that passion for love, compassion for a spouse, Adi needs all this.

Arshad is nowhere near Adi's characteristics nor HOT LOOKS !

I find Arshad way too good to be true so when he does show his manipulative side im not surprised. Since the start he knows zoya was no interested but used waseems immense love for him to convince zoya for the 2 weeks. He tries too hard to impress zoya after all that zoya has been though he might be a good person to have around as a doctor but as a life partner i dont think he has the mettle. He jumped to conclusions about adi and then questioned zoyas loyalty to adi but once he was proven right and zoya apologized he pretended he admired her loyalty he speaks from both sides of his mouth one minute he is understanding good guy then the next he is acting all flirty and doing the opposite of what he told zoya he would do like the accepting the marriage. He might look great on paper but he lacks the depth and the over the top cheerleading waseem does is ott. If this guy is so understanding cant he see zoya is unhappy and took a rash decision he doesnt have to know about adiya love but just understand the girl is not happy its not just for zoya but for his own future too.

Zoya should call off the wedding herself it will make more sense. one can clearly see she does love Adi too but doesn't want to accept her feelings. This guy is blind he needs to get his specs back 😆

Okay this is really a tough question and i also thought about it in earlier stages of track. Many marriages in India are arranged and they work too.

Not going into details cause if I see it from general view and not Serial representation of Arshad then yes Zoya might have fallen in love for Arshad post marriage as he is not that bad of a guy. But from serial's character view (keeping AdiYa aside) Arshad never tried to talk to Zoya about her feelings, her interests and her fears. He just assumed Zoya's interest and likings. He did try once to ask her about her likings but never again tried to connect with her again.As in the show they can't show deep connection between Arshad and Zoya so they didn't show much bonding of their characters. For Zoya to fall in love after marriage requires giving her heart permission to connect with Arshad which she is not giving at all. But if Zoya wasn't that affected by Aditya and would have given genuine chance to Arshad then she might have fallen for him after marriage if he indeed turned out to be guy who can keep not just her happy but her real self intact too. So we can't judge whether Zoya would have fallen for him or not even if Aditya was not in the picture.

It is the actual connection between two individual that makes the relationship successful and that doesn't entirely depends on outer factors such as being well settled.. nice guy.. genuine person or him giving full try to make other person happy and loved. Sometimes people do feel happy in a relationship but not in love.Outer view can be clear what we want in the partner but exactly what we wants or needs can only be find out if try to give that person full chance from heart. I don't know it just happens and it is hard to explain and totally depends on person's priority. I don't know LOVE confuses me as I have not felt it myself. Those who are in love can explain it much better i guess.

Still the defination of love keeps on changing as everyone has different notion for love and here Zoya wants complete intense dubke wala pyaar as per earlier episodes which Arshad can't give as he is practical banda and a bit similar to Yash in some aspects. So for serial wali Zoya he is not perfect fit but can be for any other girl who likes practical person and not dubke pyar krne wala person.

I don't know my ramblings made any sense but i like these kind of tough life related topics😆
