Understanding Aditya.

I think people are misunderstanding and misinterpreting Aditya's motives. Aditya is not making Zoya realize her feelings, he was never keen on doing that. He always wanted to confess his feelings to her and give her time and space to realize her feelings for him. So what is Aditya trying to do, you ask?

Exactly, and given the time he has no choice but to act in situations where he knows Zoya will react even if that comes at the cost of his self-respect because the biggest loss for him would be losing Zoya and allowing her to be in an unhappy loveless marrriage when he knew how she felt and did nothing to stop her. He knows how she felt with Yash and can't allow her to do that again.

Aditya never wanted to force Zoya into marriage with him, he also never wanted Zoya to confess her love for him the minute he did. Time and again, he's always said that HE WANTED to confess.

His confession didn't work out the way he wanted, the prank he played also didn't work out too well - and on top of that, the girl he loves wants to get married in 7 days...somewhere, he also deep down probably feels responsible for her sudden jump into marriage.

This isn't Zoya, and he knows it, which is WHY he's so persistent. He even said it today - why is she so angry?, why is so upset?...it's because of her feelings ...the minute her best friend confessed, she also has begun to realize that she's been feeling the same, except she covered it with a mask of friendship ...that's all Adi is trying to show her.

Exactly!!! Aditya is doing all this only to make Zoya realize that she' making a big mistake by rushing in to marriage with Arshaad... the guy she barely knows and a guy who barely knows her. Aditya is not trying to force his love on her and make her love him back. His best friend and hmtge love of his life is about to make the most terrible mistake of her life which she'll regret later on. Zoya is rushing to marry Arshaad only to prove Adi that she doesn't love him. Its her Zid now. She's not thinking from her thanda demaag. So thats why Adi is all hell bent to make her realize that. Even if that means taking Waseem's insults and bowing down infront of Arshaad.

Yesss! I so agree with you.. I wrote it in another post.. Aditya doesn't want Zoya to SETTLE for anything now.. he has seen her in her lowest and just wants the best for her. He knows Arshad is not coz she is settling for him just because her father thinks its the best for her. Its not her natural progression to marry Arshad.. its the pressure of your past .. repercussions of bad choices..

He's trying to make her understand that she is running away from him because he loves her and doesn't wanto face the situation because shez scared to be scarred again in love.
