It is her choice. One thing I am happy is that they showed Arshad as a human not some negative hate monger. Not exactly mahan, but a normal human. But they also showed why Aditya is over and above Arshad. Arshad didnt had it in him to leave Zoya. It is not that he didnt see the love in Zoya's eyes for Aditya before. It was just that he was willing to take Zoya if she allows him to. He had Wasim's full support for the same. The letter which Arshad got kind of confirmed for him Zoya too had some feelings for Aditya. You will ask how. That letter comes to him from Zoya's house and it can only mean one thing, that letter was with Zoya and she had not torn it. That itself means that letter matters to her. Still he decided to go ahead with wedding and say Qubool Hai
But Aditya literally challenged him today. Not with his fist, but with his gesture. What he couldnt do Aditya did. Arshad couldnt leave the woman he fell for, but Aditya brought her to the nikaah and was walking away. He did the impossible, leaving her to become someone else's. And I would say first Arshad felt it was a tactics. His act of walking away just to disturb Zoya so that she didnt say Qubool Hai. But Aditya's eyes, oh man what was that. Harshad I cant explain what I saw in your eyes today. The serenity, the peace with immense pain. Those eyes spoke the volumes to Arshad today, challenging the goodness in him. This man was leaving the woman, who he loves and who loves him too. What was Arshad doing, taking the woman who doesnt love him. The so called feminist was denying Zoya her choice. And that point he held the power to give her, her choice.
He does exactly that. Giving his sehra to Aditya telling Zoya can say Qubool Hai now. I would say he literally threw Wasim off the mark. Yes I had expected something from Arshad. Only Arshad can tackle Wasim and Zoya looked at the ring and stayed silent. Her silence speaking her denial.
Wasim was expecting Arshad to throw Aditya, but Arshad threw googly at Wasim. I was only waiting to see what kind of googly. Whether he will question Zoya character, whether he would reject her or he wont say Qubool hai. He didnt do anything. When he didnt get the qubool hai from her, he decided to move out like a gentleman. Because he didnt wanted to force that qubool hai out of her, when she was too unwilling and sitting with pain in her eyes.
For Zoya her decision was made when she saw the letter, when her Aditya came to give her, her choice. When she allowed herself to feel his proximity, when her duppatta stuck with his jacket and he didnt pull the jacket out, but came back gently to remove it from her duppatta. At no point he will allow her pride and honor to fall. Because if her pride falls, his white jacket will also go. Most importantly when she took the ring. She knew what that ring meant. That ring Aditya wanted to give to the woman he loved, and by taking it in her hand, it was kind of symbolic she accepted his love or atleast want to accept his love.
The ring the most symbolic thing of this track. Where the story started it will end there, or where it ended, something new will start. Or rather it is a circle. Once again Zoya takes the heart's decision, she braves Wasim's dictatorship and his blackmailing and finally musters courage to speak her heart. Earlier she was runaway bride, now she will be a thrown away bride as Wasim's ego is hurt badly. Because he is defeated royally from all sides. Aditya won. Though Zoya didnt break the marriage and run into Aditya arms, she did something to that effective. He knows roshnaq and Noor are with Aditya. His so called Ace card Arshad also finally turned into team Aditya and Zoya. I would say that was the last straw for Wasim. That his daughters actions made his so called choice understand clearly her choice was someone else.
The man Wasim had insulted with all the bad words in the world, yes he has to deal with him as his son in law. Though Aditya wont keep anything against Wasim, Wasim's bruised ego cant bend before the young man, who was anything but polite with him. So he throws his daughter and Aditya takes her in his arms. No one can humilate his Zoya from now on. Actually it was the reverse of Pak poosh track, where Aditya pushes her and Wasim catches her. That day Aditya gives her a smile when he walks away. He had taken extra trouble for her, only to be at the receiving end of she wanting to reopen the case. A scandal. That day Zoya stood with the world, allowing her father to humilate the man, who had taken her hand when she had none with her. Today he proved that world can throw her away any time if she didnt bend to its demands.
But he will be always there to catch her, if she just tries to understand him. He is not flawless, but he is not a traitor either. Most important he wont hurt her, if she makes a choice.
Aditya what to tell about him. When Arshad tells qubool hai his pain was so evident and even when there is silence from Zoya's side he doesnt stop. He stops only when Arshad calls, turning to face him and for the first time seeing her, he sees a glimmer of hope. When Arshad calls of wedding also he wants her to speak, he wants her to tell the truth. And Zoya tells it. Haltingly, hesitatingly she admits. She has fallen for him. She didnt know when. But she has fallen for him. He makes a lot of difference for her. She tried her best to go away from him, she tried to lie to her with his so called dhoka. But when the letter came, when the truth stared at her, her heart took over. As Arshad said she belonged to him, how can she be someone else's. She simply cant. Roshnaq followed by Arshad gave Zoya the courage to speak her heart out, to allow herself to feel the love once again.
So Zoya had made her choice today. But neverthless till the marriage happens this thread will continue. Zoya has accepted her love, so we can expect some romance though not full fledged as Wasim aur anjana ko patana hai 😆😆😆
