You wrote this for Kis desh didn't you? 😉 Because that was such a 'Prem Juneja' at the beginning of the match. I was reading with a smile on my face getting reminded of that khoobsurat golden hearted character Harshad portrayed 😳 You like him a lot too maybe? 😆
Anyway, coming to the story I totally enjoyed the childish nok-jhok b/w AdiYa & then when they grew up how Zoya can't tolerate Aditya yet & how they still have their banters like kids 😆 Aditya description before his entry was obviously such a 'Prem'. Have you made him that much loyal as Aditya in the FF too? 😃Aditya will always be the sarcastic boi & Zoya is committed to Yash, which doesn't seem to stick long enough since he's perhaps hiding something major from his fiance 😕 Poor Zoya. Hope she'll be able to take it up.Waiting for the next & if there's a possibility do pm me 😊

Chapter 4
Roshnaq folded the handkerchief and tucked it into Wasim's coat breast pocket, a task she has performed many times for her life partner.
She looked up at her husband and felt the calmness of his nature. He may be a sharp businessman to the world, but to her he was the gentlest man...a man who loved his family with his every breath.
"Aaj Yash se teek tara se baat karna..." Roshnaq said while straightening out the handkerchief.
When Wasim looked down, avoiding eye contact, Roshnaq understood.
"Mein jaanti hoon...aap humesha se chate teh ke Zoya Aditya ki ho. Aur Siddiqui aur Hooda's ki dosti rishtedari mein badal jaye." Roshnaq spoke, brushing the collar of his kurta.
Wasim looked up with disappointed eyes hearing those words. Harshvardhan and he always dreamed that their friendship will carry on for generations and that they will eventually become a family. They wished that this dream will be fulfilled by their first borns. Zoya was his eldest daughter, his darling...and he trusted no one but the Hoodas to give her the same love that he gave her.
Roshnaq saw the inner turmoil in her husband's eyes and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Mujhe ab bhi yaad hai...jab Zoya pehda hui thi. Aap se zyaada kush toh Harsh hue teh...aur woh Zoya ko aapke haatho se cheen kar Aditya ke pas rakh diya." Roshnaq smiled at the memory like it happened yesterday. "...Aur uss din hum inn dono ki takdeer milana chate teh. Lekin dono ki takdeer milne se pehle dono ke dil milna bahut zaroori hai...aur Zoya ka dil Yash ke paas hai."
Wasim sigh...knowing his wife was completely right. No matter how much he wished for Zoya and Aditya to marry, he will always put Zoya's happiness before everything. If Yash is the man Zoya loved, then he will accept Yash with open arms.
Roshnaq continued, "Iss liye...jab Yash aaj aayega...aap nikka ki tareek teek karenge...apni beti ki kushi ke liye."
Wasim then looked at his wife and smiled. This is the relationship they shared. Sometimes...they understood each other's feelings without voicing it.
There was a knock on the door before Noor entered. "Ammi...Abbu...Yash is here." Noor announced.

Zoya was the first to come down to the living room. She wanted a private moment with Yash before her parents joined them.
She naturally went into Yash's arms and gave him a welcome hug. "Hi...nervous?" Zoya asked.
Yash gave a small smile. He was conflicted. So very conflicted.
"Zoya...I wanted to speak with you before dinner...it's a little important..." Yash said, nervousness etching his every word.
"Ok what is it?" Zoya asked, eyebrows frowning as concern entered her eyes.
Yash looked at Zoya's innocent face...her eyes filled with so much love and concern for him.
"I umm...it's...it's nothing...I just wanted to say I love you." Yash replied, losing the courage to say what was on his mind. Zoya loved him...and he couldn't tell her anything until he was sure of what he wanted.
Zoya smiled and linked her hand with his, "I love you too."
Wasim, Roshnaq, and Noor chose this moment to enter the living room. Noor greeted Yash with a warm hug since both were familiar with each other. Yash then folded his hands before him and greeted Wasim and Roshnaq, showing his respect.
"Hello beta..." Wasim spoke, making the first move to welcoming his future son-in-law.

The Next Evening
Aditya walked out of his bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist. A few stray droplets of water glistened on his chest as he walked up to the mirror. He took the 2nd towel hanging around his neck and wiped his hair. His bangs fell over his forehead as he ran his fingers through it, styling it in his usual hairstyle.
He then dressed in casual jeans and a white shirt. As he started buttoning his shirt, he heard his bedroom door open.
Aditya turned and smiled at the most important woman in his life...his mother. His eyes naturally softened at the sight of the pretty lady entering the room, love simply radiating through him.
"Are you ready beta?" Anjana asked her elder son...her right hand.
"Just two minutes maa" Aditya replied, rolling the sleeves of his shirt to his elbows as a finishing touch.
"Good...we need to leave soon...they are expecting us." Anjana replied, brushing away some lint from Aditya's shirt.
"Why did Wasim uncle suddenly call us? Is everything ok?" Aditya asked, curious as to why the whole Hooda family was suddenly asked to come over.
"Pata nahin...Wasim just said that he had an announcement to make and it was important." Anjana replied, completely oblivious as well.
Aditya then got a twinkle in his eye, "Are the girls going to be there?" he asked.
"Adi...no badmaashi" Anjana warned in a stern voice, knowing fully well her son's mischievous look had something to do with a certain Siddiqui girl with an angelic face and a feisty nature.
"But badmaashi is our signature style mom" a male voice replied. Aditya and Anjana turned to see Arjun walk in, dressed and ready to go, mischievous looks included.
Arjun winked at his bhai while Aditya grinned back. It was well known that both the Hooda brothers had playful personalities to match devastating good looks. Arjun was known for his playful nature...always teasing and cracking jokes. Aditya, on the other hand, was the more mature out of the two...but maturity clashed with his quick wit and wicked sense of humor.
Anjana simply shook her head. "I don't understand how such a sweet girl like Noor fell for such a badmaash like you" Anjana stated, her words not holding any sting towards her other hand...her younger son.
Taking no offense, Arjun wrapped an arm around Anjana and replied, "She obviously fell for my good looks mom." Arjun then blew some air on his fingernails and rubbed them on his shoulder. Arjun then let out a laugh as he dodged his mother's hand almost making contact with the back of his head.
"Arre tum log ab tak yahaan ho?" The three individuals turned to see Harshvardhan walk in. "We're getting late...and whatever Wasim wanted to talk about sounded important." Harshvardhan continued, ushering his family towards the door.
"Hum tho tayar teh dad...bas Miss. Universe ko admire kar rahe teh..." Arjun replied smoothly, teasing his mom's expensive fashion sense.
"Tu phir bola! Nalayak!" Anjana roared ready to chase after Arjun as Harsh laughed. Aditya laughed as well and easily blocked his mother.
"Rehne dho maa...Arjun kabhi sudre ga nahin." Aditya said in a calming voice, diffusing his mother's temper almost as quickly as Arjun ignited it.
As they made their way out the door, Anjana took a moment to look at her family and sighed peacefully. The three men in her life, her two hands...and her life partner. This scenario was a common occurrence in their life, and it only portrayed the close bond they all shared with each other.
And it was always like Aditya to step in and stop an argument. It was second nature to him. He truly was a wonderful person at heart. His love always the balance between his father, mother, and brother. And she knew...one day...his love will also be a sign of complete devotion...protection...and submission...to whomever he gives his heart to.
Chapter 5
Zoya closed her books and carried them over to her book shelf, putting them away for the night. With her business assignment complete, she turned towards her closet for something other than her sweat pants. A gust of wind swept into her room from the open balcony door, catching Zoya's attention.
She felt a stir in the air...and an automatic pull where she felt her feet take her to her balcony. The stars sparkled outside. It was a beautiful night...like something special was going to happen. Zoya saw it then...a lone star shoot across the sky. She felt the rush in her veins...the one you always feel when you see a shooting star.
Zoya closed her eyes, like she has many times before, and wished. "This past year has been so amazing...I got the chance to fall in love. And I will be marrying that love soon. I wish...to always be so madly in love...and have this love grow only with time. Please...always let me feel this love...for my family...for my friends...and for him."
Aditya's feet touched the grounds of the Siddiqui estate as he stepped out of the car.
Zoya opened her eyes and felt a flutter in her heart. She placed a hand over her chest and frowned. Odd...why did it do that all of a sudden?' she wondered.
Zoya couldn't ponder any further because Noor's voice brought Zoya out of her thoughts. "Appi you're not changed yet!? The Hooda's are already here." Noor exclaimed, seeing Zoya still in comfortable sweats.
A smile naturally adorned Zoya's face at the mention of the Hooda family. She loved them dearly...minus chicken legs of course. She can't blame the whole family for one sour apple.
"Let them know that I will be down in 10 minutes" Zoya replied and made her way towards her closet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~'
The two families greeted each other with warm hugs. Right when Aditya and Arjun bent down to touch Roshnaq's feet, Roshnaq reached up and pulled Aditya and Arjun's ears, one hand on each of them.
"Ow!" the two handsome men yelped, feeling like little boys again.
"You two won the championship again and didn't bother to tell me!? I had to find out from Zoya...jao...hum aap dono se baat nahin karenge" Roshnaq released the both of them and turned around, faking her disappointment.
Wasim, Harshvardhan, Anjana, and Noor watched on with amused looks, waiting to see what the Hooda brothers will do.
Aditya rubbed his sore ear and looked at Arjun. A knowing look passed between the two and they reached for Roshnaq at the same time...leaning in on each side and placing a loud kiss on her cheeks.
"Sorry Roshnaq maa" Aditya apologized cutely. Roshnaq turned to look at them, cute smiles on both their faces. She tried to hide her smile.
"Dekho...Roshnaq maa muskura rahi hai...hassi toh passi Bhai." Arjun retorted. This caused Roshnaq to finally laugh and the bystanders soon joined in the laughter.
Once everyone settled in comfortable seats in the living room, Harshvardhan spoke up, "So tell us Wasim...what was so important?"
Wasim and Roshnaq shared a knowing smile. "It's a big announcement." Wasim began, "Harsh...I need you and your family to move into my house for the next month."
The Hoodas gasped, a little shocked at the sudden request. "Kyon? Is everything ok?" Harshvardhan asked concerned, thinking the worst.
"I will need a lot of help and support..." Wasim continued, building up the suspense.
"Please tell us already...You're scaring me." Anjana stated, not being able to take the suspense any longer.
Wasim chuckled, "Zoya and Yash's wedding has been fixed 1 month from today" he finally revealed. The announcement was followed by excited cheers from the Hoodas. Aditya was stunned for a second, before he smiled and congratulated Wasim and Roshnaq. He's known Zoya since childhood...and he's pulled her leg ever since. It was a little weird to think that the little girl he has teased for years is actually getting married.
"Since the date is fixed so suddenly and 1 month is not a lot of time...I would like for everyone to move here temporarily and help out with the wedding." Wasim concluded.
"Yaar even if you didn't ask we would have forcefully moved in and helped out with the wedding." Harshvardhan replied.
"Sahi kahan aapne...humare Zoya ki shaadi hai...dhoom dham se karenge." Anjana added, always holding a special kind of affection for Zoya.
"By the way...where is Zoya di?" Arjun asked, wanting to congratulate her personally.
"She should have been down by now...I'll go get her" Noor rose, but stopped when Aditya placed a hand on her shoulder and rose himself.
"I'll go get her. You stay here." With that said, Aditya turned to leave when his mother's voice stopped him.
"Aditya! No..." Anjana began, when Aditya turned and cut her off, "Jaanta hoon maa...no badmaashi" He replied with a naughty smirk and exited the room.
Everyone left behind simply shook their head in amusement.
Zoya slipped the casual top over her head and stepped out of the bathroom. She went straight for her vanity mirror, not paying any attention to her surroundings and picked up her hairbrush. She heard in then...someone started whistling.
She turned to see Aditya lying across her bed flipping through a magazine.
"Aap!?" Zoya screeched.
"Well hello to you too darling" Aditya replied casually, his eyes not leaving the magazine.
"Aditya what are you doing in my room!? And what are you doing on my bed?" Zoya asked, irked by his presence.
"Kyon?" Aditya looked up then, his eyes twinkling with naughtiness, "Neeyat karab ho rahi hai?" He asked, his voice becoming huskier as he switched on his seductive tone.
"Chi...please Aditya...in your dreams" Zoya retorted, rolling her eyes.
"By the way...congratulations on the wedding." Aditya commented, getting more comfortable on the bed and taking Zoya by surprise. Did hell just freeze over? It wasn't common for him to say anything kind to her. Their interactions mostly consisted of Aditya teasing Zoya and Zoya getting mad.
"Umm...thanks..." Zoya replied awkwardly, not sure how to react. At least he is being nice and congratulating her...'' Zoya thought.
"But I feel kind of sorry for Yash...he has to spend the rest of his life with a freckle face like you." Aditya concluded smoothly.
I take it back...he is the D.E.V.I.L.'' Zoya didn't even bother to reply to him, she simply attacked.
"Ugh! God!" Zoya slapped Aditya's arm and he blocked easily, grinning like a fool. "Just" *slap* "When" *Slap* "I think" *slap slap* "You are being nice!" *slap*
Aditya laughed out loud and dodged a few more of Zoya's attacks. She leaned over when he started moving to the other side of the bed. Aditya grabbed Zoya's wrist to avoid another slap and didn't realized a small tug was all it took to have Zoya lose balance and tumble into his arms.
Zoya let out a breathless gasp as she landed on Aditya's hard chest, the fall knocking the breath off of her. She pulled back slightly and all she saw warm brown eyes...
~Tu jo chhoo le pyaar se
Far away from the city, in a small village, a lady in her elder years opened her eyes from slumber. Eyes that held wisdom and an immense amount of experience. The villagers called her the wise one. She felt things that no one else did. People claimed that she had a connection to a divine power...something that no one else understood but her. But she always brushed it off...it was no divine power she had...she simply understood love...pure love. And tonight...a smile adorned her face because she felt something happening...
"Arre Sakshi...tu achanak utt kyon gayi?" Another lady asked.
"Tumne kuch mehsoos kiya?" Sakshi asked, her voice holding a sense of mystery...as if she felt something no one else understood.
~Aaja chanda bahoo mein
tujh mein hi gum ho jaaoon main...~
Aditya balanced Zoya on top of him. Reflexes caused him to wrap his arms around her and break her fall...but he couldn't seem to pull away. Not yet...not yet...was her eyes always so pretty? They were so big...almond shaped...so beautifully green...
~Tere naam mein kho jaaoon...~
Sakshi placed her hand over her heart, "Yeh raat bohut khaas raat hai...dono ki takdeer milne jaa rahi hai...ek mohabat ki shuruwat hone jaa rahi hai..."
Sakshi spread her arms out and embraced the cool air, lifting her face up at the heavens as she took in the night sky.
~Saiyyan...~
Zoya felt her heart give a loud thud in her chest. Her fingers digging into Aditya's biceps as he gazed at her. His eyes...my God...were they always so intense? They made you think of warm summer nights in your private bedroom...what takes place in there is left to the imagination...Zoya's heart gave another loud thud...
~Saiyyan...~
"Jab apne saiyyan se pehli bar mulakat hoti hai naa...toh humare dil ki dadkhan usse ek pal mein pehchaan leti hai" Sakshi spun around in delight.
"Uski dil ki dadkhan woh baat samajh gayi hai...jo woh kudh aab tak samajh nahi pa rahi hai..." Sakshi then turned to look at her friend, her eyes glistening with unshed tears...tears of happiness...Yeh raat bohut khaas hai..."
A soft breeze entered the room and stirred the air around Aditya and Zoya. A lock of hair fell over Zoya's face and Aditya brushed it behind her ear with his index finger...never losing eye contact.
The stars sparkled outside. It was a beautiful night...like it knew something special was going to happen.
Liked it? If anyone is confused about Sakshi's character...she has no resemblance to the show...she is someone i have as a side character...a person who is kind of dictating the love story...if you are familiar with Harshad''s old show kis desh mein mera dil...sakshi's character is like jugni's. hope this clears any confusion.
