I didn't like the situation and set up but the confession itself was beautiful. The way Harshad said it and portrayed Aditya's thoughts, I really liked it. Simple but full of emotions, I appreciate that.
Again, I hated the entire situation in which he had to confess.

For a confession (which I knew) would end in rejection, it was good. It was simple and straightforward- no unnecessary dragging. I liked it given the situation.

I absolutely loved the confession. Both Aditya and Zoya were bang on with their expressions and emotions. It was a simple, beautiful and realistic confession.
But I didn't like the situation in which the confession happened and that too in front of everybody.

Zoya's slap was uncalled for. I don't know what hurt her more. That he lied or he loved her.

She pondered on the lie / trust portion more than being loved by a friend. Will she wonder why and how Aditya has fallen for her and weather it is ok for 2 best friends to be in love?

Its interesting how their relationship has progressed. Although I felt awkward to see Arshad being part of AdiYa moments.

I hated it. Why did it have to be in front of her parents? In real life, who confesses in front of the whole world?
But HC and JW played their parts beautifully.

This isn't the first love confession I've seen in an unexpected situation. The show I'm talking about had the guy wake the girl up in the middle of the night, scaring the hell out of her & after explaining to her that he should get this out of his head soon because he can't keep it in him anymore, out of nervousness he blurted out 'I love you'. That wasn't sugar coated or oh-so romantic but just the way that guy is, the confession was so honest.
Same goes with Adi. As a girl who has no interest in oh-so-sweet-romance, I found Adi's confession straight out of his heart. He didn't care where it happened, what was the situation, who was there & that's what love does to a person. He sounded quite nervous but jo bolna tha woh bolke katam kardiya 😆 Literally he was living 'Jab pyaar kiya toh darna kya' statement 😆 Such a relaxed & a simple guy. One of the main reasons for the confession to take place that way was because remember how long he had been waiting to confess to Zoya? Through the time his love for her gradually increased & when the competition of sorts (What competition? Arshad plain sucks! 🤣) happened, Adi felt like he's tied to a chain. He wanted to let Zoya know he has fallen for her but something or the other stopped him.
I think HC being this god darn good actor who expresses his emotions with his eyes specifically & body language following immediately, Adi was on point & Harshad justified the scene very well. I also liked how Zoya reacted to the shock minus the slap. The subtle changes in Jennifer's expressions were good & finally, this was at an unexpected moment but Zoya would have to deal with a changed Adi soon so better atm

Loved it. It was so raw and pure. An Aditya-type confession through and through. Finally, after days of having his head in the clouds due to his realisation of love, Aditya was back down to earth and laid it out plain and simple. Looking forward to a hopefully more sensible Aditya in the coming weeks.

In my opinion, it was honest and intense. It just wasn't dramatic. Maybe that's why it felt lacking to you. But personally, for me, I felt it was just as it should be.

He said how he felt, no frills and it was all the more hot for it! Of course when Harshad is standing there looking at you "Intensity bari nigaho se" like Zoya once told Adi, then one sort of get the feel of it naturally. Harshad is so handsome, but more than that, he has this natural charm that makes his character so endearing.

Adi is artless. He never "Acts" at all. This is why the confession felt so him. For a second Zoya was SO thrown. After the confession what followed was really intense and impactful. Like the "On one will love you like me" line. I was thinking "Girl how can you not say yes to him, he's so hot!" LOL.

But jokes aside Harshad nailed the whole thing. His minute changes in expressions always make every scene look authentic. Like the way he winced when she said that thanks to him she lost her only friend. These two surely deserve accolades and Harshad most certainly does for the way he plays Adi! He literally lives him. So Yes I Loved the confession. Watched it at least 5 times. I fell in even more in Bepannah pyar with this love story!

Now adi have to save zoya from her own foolish decisions because it looks like she is ready to marry arshad because she can't face the fact her best friend loves her. After knowing adi so well what I don't get it how did she not understand the depth of his love treat it as some sort of dhokha. The slap was unnecessary and if she had a little bit of brain she would have seen that it was arshad who is responsible for this tamasha in front of whole world.
