Also, we don't know how Zoya was before her marriage to Yash. Maybe Yash didn't let her grow the way Aditya did.

Your last line. A very interesting thought. Makes me think when I see it like that.

Every character should see a growth and that's what storytelling is all about. Earlier, Aditya has seen Zoya as Yash's widow who had an affair with his wife. So initially he had no problems removing his shirt as he wanted to make Zoya angry/upset and get even with her dead husband.

With time, he had built a rapport with her and soon she became the reason for his sanity. He felt that she understood his pain, his betrayal more than anyone else.

Over a period of time, he has started developing feelings for her. So you get to see his coyness and being uncomfortable around Zoya.

Similarly, Zoya always felt Aditya was torturing her. But when she discovered that he is the most trustworthy and the reason for her growth, she holds him in very high esteem.

For some reason, she also feels guilty about Aditya leaving a secluded life in Paris and wants to make it up with him. Last 6 months, Aditya was always in her mind and so she is more comfortable around him.

With time, she will understand the nature of her feelings towards him.

Beautiful write up.
For some reason, these two always seemed to have a certain kind of a comfort level between them. Therefore, I am not surprised to see Zoya being all comfortable in his company. In fact, they always had it, and now it has naturally enhanced. I understand that. I also understand the much needed change in her character. Both of them had to go through some sort of transformation, as I feel that is what the show is about. Intropecting, and growing. My only problem is it was possible for them to have done that without turning Zoya into a complete copy of Adi. She needed to imbibe his certain traits in order to grow which she did, but for some reason, the old Zoya seems completely lost to me. Perhaps, i am jumping the gun and it's still too early to comment, but I can't deny the lack of connect I am feeling.

I agree with you.

Skills and character/nature/personality are different

Zoya is a strong character with high ethics, stick to truth/right, strong willed, but naive, with lack of knowledge about external world, who couldnot talk/face new people.

She can learn management/behavioural/business/people mgmt skills. She can learn diplomacy, street smartness.

But her character/nature shouldnot be completely turned opposite.

Spot on. This is what I m saying.

Look who's here! 🤗
How on earth will you enjoy the show if you keep disappearing like this, man? I told you to be regular. The jungle track had some beautiful beautiful beautiful scene ❤️
And LOL NAAGINN? How oh how do you tolerate that show? The promos are enough for me to never go into that domain 😆

Before I begin, let me say I love this chemistry also but this is not what I prefer to see. I need that simmering tension which always existed between the two before the leap! Now, they behave like chaddi buddies which just makes no sense whatsoever😕 This heightened sense of comfort level between the two is not what I want to see!
I really, really love this new enterprising Zoe who's not beholden to the likes of her ex and his family due to her misplaced sense of responsibility and guilt. The chirpier(?) Zoya we see right now was the exact same we saw in the first episode before the fateful night, only now she's subconsciously imbibed the traits of Adi (something one tends to do when one fancies someone, take that from a neuroscience student😆), but you don't revert to your previous self after going through an ordeal of this magnitude which is why Aditya not going back to his previous sassy, goofy self makes so much narrative sense. The pre-Paak Rishta Zoya used to read Adi like an open book but the current one has still not gauged the state of mind Adi is in and that's also jarring.

Frankly, I am enjoying this leap, not because of the chemistry of the leads or the mystery behind Sakshi's kidnap. Every character has changed. As a storyteller, this is a very good writing.
