Before I begin, let me say I love this chemistry also but this is not what I prefer to see. I need that simmering tension which always existed between the two before the leap! Now, they behave like chaddi buddies which just makes no sense whatsoever😕 This heightened sense of comfort level between the two is not what I want to see!
I really, really love this new enterprising Zoe who's not beholden to the likes of her ex and his family due to her misplaced sense of responsibility and guilt. The chirpier(?) Zoya we see right now was the exact same we saw in the first episode before the fateful night, only now she's subconsciously imbibed the traits of Adi (something one tends to do when one fancies someone, take that from a neuroscience student😆), but you don't revert to your previous self after going through an ordeal of this magnitude which is why Aditya not going back to his previous sassy, goofy self makes so much narrative sense. The pre-Paak Rishta Zoya used to read Adi like an open book but the current one has still not gauged the state of mind Adi is in and that's also jarring.

I don't know if I'm liking this track or not. It kinda feels like CVs are trying to force the romance down our throats. I do enjoy Adiya scenes but at the same time, I feel like they should take it slow. Zoya has been clinging to Aditya ever since he got back and that looks forced because they hardly spent a good time together before he left. I understand that the distance made her realize that Aditya played an important part in making her successful but I'd have liked it better if they'd have taken things forward gradually.
Zoya's transition is something that I appreciate. I think she was chirpy and sweet before Yash's death and became gloomy after his demise. Now that she's free of the guilt, she's back to being the chirpy woman who's also confident and successful. Although I'd love it if they tone it down a bit, just a little bit. Also, I feel like they have totally ended Poosh track which is weird. I know both Aditya and Zoya are done with their respective spouses but c'mon they loved them to death, is it so easy to forget them? Adiya have completely stopped think about them, they could atleast think about them once a while? A few flashbacks maybe? It seems too unreal to think that they don't even mention their names now :/ Is it just me?

In every show, there's transformation in leads characters. In the beginning, Zoya was innocent and naive because of her upbringing. She lived a sheltered life far from problems and difficulties before and after marriage. After Yash's death, she got to know what's life. She realized that life is not a bed of roses. One has to struggle every moment in order to survive. If Aditya had not come into her life, we can't even imagine what would have happened to her.
I don't think this is a sudden change in Zoya. Didn't we see this same Zoya deciding to save ZoSh even without any knowledge of running a business? Didn't we see this same Zoya slapping Aditya when he made that pathetic statement about her in office? Mind u, she didn't apologize to him even after he saved her from the goons in the riots scene because she knew he deserved the slap. Didn't she go all the way to Hooda house to fight with Aditya because his father declared her husband Pooja's murderer? We have always seen this strong side in her and Zoya was chirpy, fun loving, talkative in the first episode. She lost this nature after Yash's death and gained it back after deciding to move on.I won't agree with u that she has turned into Geet 2.0 or like other OTT characters of tv, maybe because Jenny doesn't overacting unlike the other characters and Kareena specially who overacted a lot in JWM. (No offence to her fans)I agree with u that there's no chemistry between AdiYa in the hug scene nor the ice cream scene. One thing I wanna say, of Zoya didn't feel any love or attraction for Adi then even Adi is not feeling any love or attraction for her in these scenes. He is just happy and surprised seeing this strong, confident and independent Zoya but I don't see any love for her.In the mirror scene, I do see Adi getting attracted to her because Zoya was not just applying medicine to his outside wound but also to the wound inside his heart. I did find it strange that Zoya was not feeling anything. Maybe we need to wait for the scene to be on air then only we will come to know because they don't show the whole scene neither in promo nor in OLVs.Actually more than Zoya, I am not able to Aditya. This guy lived a lonely and depressed life for 6 whole months. He suddenly watches Zoya's interview and out of the blue, decides to return to India for her even if it's only for few days. Then he behaves differently with his family and Zoya. When Arjun brought ice cream for him, he initially said he is not a kid anymore. He did eat the ice cream but didn't enjoy it. When Zoya offered him ice cream, he didn't say he is not a kid. Instead he said, let's eat it the next day and not in the night. When he was with Zoya, he enjoyed eating his ice cream but he didn't enjoy it with Arjun. Then he became the old Adi and started talking like old Adi to Arjun when he returned home. The recreation of the first meet scene was beautiful but I still feel the way Adi behaved in that scene was out of his character. Pooja called him childish. He too realized his marriage was ruined because of his childishness and then the same guy again starts behaving all childish all of a sudden after he sees Zoya bargaining with the flower vendor. That was something I couldn't digest.I knew Zoya will bring back the old Adi but I didn't knew it would be so soon. The cvs should have given some time for Adi to change. After all, Adi had to make lot of efforts to change Zoya but Zoya has hardly made any effort to change Adi. It's like he is automatically changing himself after spending few hours with her. What was the need to show Adi leaving for Paris and staying there for 6 months to make himself a better human when he is already becoming a better human after spending few hours with Zoya?

I am not sure if you feel it as well, but I can clearly feel the change between the old happy Zoya and the current one. She certainly had to take in some of Adi's traits, especially the street smartness, and the business management skills. But, I think turning her into a second Adi kind of reduces her own uniqueness.

TBH only on first episode I felt she is lil ott..bt u knw what when u see in retrospection she was always like that bt lil naivity..see the first episode u will she she was that free bird ,bubbly chirpy n free spirited as u can see she literally tracked down ADI..bt she was naive than...since the first episode she had alot of bad situation than she knew about betrayal n all so she went to silent Zoya without much chirpiness left n also family against her that time...she lost her spouse n along with that ema..n so much going on ..how will someone remain normal n sane still she was into her character n shed her chirpiness was lil mature bt naive ..bt with what all she faced in Mumbai along with ADI taunting him n living in Mumbai itself teaches u too be practical n with making zosh entirely her world n financially becoming independent n also freeing herself from past has made her becoming the Zoya she was bt learnt to b practical n this mayanagari of Mumbai city..n ppl tend to realise few things n shed their navity once they see real world...if u pick flash back scenes of Zoya she was chirpy as hell(scene with Yash)n I don't feel odd of her ott personality ...she was always like that bt with depth ..u can see her character depth even now when she had convo with Noor to talk to Abbu...n regarding her equation with Zoya..on their last meet before leap she said they r friends n that day in rain she lost that naive, hurted Zoya n all the pain washed out as she coz of ADI could give justice to yash's allegations...n ADI was imp person who made it to provide justice...n ones he went away she got to knw it was all ADI who made her so strong so she owes so much to him n also he is the only close frnd of her..
