I have been busy with exams, therefore, I have no idea of any other similar topic (apologies to the TM if there is one), but I just have to let this out in order to find out if I am the only person feeling this, or rather feeling nothing at all. No chemistry, no connect - nothing.

I agree with you. I criticized Zoya for her stupidity and all but it was still fine. I could connect with her at some level. Her character was portrayed well. Even Adiya had better chemistry before the leap.

As Zoya put it correctly, people change with time. I have experienced it myself. I was shy and introvert and leading a cocooned life. At present, I have metamorphosized into a social butterfly. Time, circumstances and people around contribute to your change and to your growth. I was lucky that way. I completely understand Zoya's transformation.

The sudden change of zoya is shocking each one of us .

Because of the leap u might feel disconnected but zoya was always like that happy goo
In the first episode she was all fun loving .
But only change is that she has inherited Adi behavior in to herself because she is his friend
No matter how much they fight or disagree in many things but one thing stands out that is understanding each other and being there whenever needed .
Since Adi went away she inherited his behavior his thought process while dealing with things .
She was so used to him that she turned herself to him

Because she embraced her past and excepted her faults she could move on so easily .

It's her strength that made her stand up .
After Adi returned she just wants to be with him because she missed him and is making out for all these months to catch up things with him.
She isn't hesitant to share ice cream or hug because her mind is clear that Adi is her buddy

Sometimes some person might influence you so much that you start imbibing his/her traits. That is exactly what is happening to Zoya. She is what Aditya used to be. Before the leap, she did say that Aditya is the person whom she trusts a lot. Over the span of 6 months, she is handling life putting on Aditya's shoes.
Also, we don't know how Zoya was before her marriage to Yash. Maybe Yash didn't let her grow the way Aditya did.

I have no prblm with zoyas changed nature. They r showing frndship phase frm zoyas side like in kkhh wen anjali was frnds with rahul she was not affected with his proximity n was comfortable with him bt wen she realised she is in love with him then she started having those feels n awkwardness with rahul n after leap she was a totally changed anjali with only a glimpse of old anjali seen after rahul enters her life. So total change in leads character is ok for me. Only thing i had prblm was the scenes cvs r showing r supposed to b hot scenes between leads which shows the sexual tension n chemistry between them but cvs r showing these scenes in frndship phase n ruining those hot scenes as flat with no hot vibes n chemistry. Frndship phase n then gradually feeling attracted can b shown in lot of other ways too. This shock n ointment applying scene should have come later wen both wud have started to feel love n attraction towards each other but it is shown soon. Thats all.

Every character should see a growth and that's what storytelling is all about. Earlier, Aditya has seen Zoya as Yash's widow who had an affair with his wife. So initially he had no problems removing his shirt as he wanted to make Zoya angry/upset and get even with her dead husband.

With time, he had built a rapport with her and soon she became the reason for his sanity. He felt that she understood his pain, his betrayal more than anyone else.

Over a period of time, he has started developing feelings for her. So you get to see his coyness and being uncomfortable around Zoya.

Similarly, Zoya always felt Aditya was torturing her. But when she discovered that he is the most trustworthy and the reason for her growth, she holds him in very high esteem.

For some reason, she also feels guilty about Aditya leaving a secluded life in Paris and wants to make it up with him. Last 6 months, Aditya was always in her mind and so she is more comfortable around him.

With time, she will understand the nature of her feelings towards him.
